    Chapter 2 - Outworlders

    *The next morning, John slept in the fution silently and while he slept, he could hear voices outside the complex. It was Reimu's voice talking to a matured and calm voice as if Reimu was talking to an adult woman.*

    Reimu= I let him sleep here just like you told me too.

    ?????= I didn't tell you to, I suggested it. I thought it was better that way.

    Reimu= Ok, but forgive me for saying this, but I rarely get to see men staying over.

    ?????= Im sure it's a good change. And you say he's a visitor.....and a foreinger?

    Reimu= He sure is. He has 3 girls with him.

    ?????= You say they didn't stay here?

    Reimu= Nope. They told me they already have a place to stay. 1 girl was definently Japaneese, but the other 2 looked like they came from a tropical reigon. The man here is supposed to be American. I think all of them are from the outside world.

    ?????= And you say this man's name is "John"? And Aya sighned him up to participate in the journalist assistant for the Bunbunmaru? I don't like the sound of that. I hope Aya isn't gonna try and spoil him.

    Reimu= Let's see how things turn out. Ill go ahead and wake him up.

    ?????= That's alright. Let me, I will wake him up. I want to meet this guy.

    Reimu= Ok, suite yourself.

    ?????= One more thing Reimu? Why not prepair tea and pork dumplings for him? Im sure he's worked well last night.

    Reimu= Well....ok.

    *Suddenly the door slid open carefully and a hand gently stroked on John's messy wavy hair. When John slowly woken up, he saw a beautiful woman looking down upon him. She had long blonde hair, richly bright dark gold eyes, and she wore a bright purple dress with a pink mob cap with a red ribbon on top. She had a short smile and she began to talk to John.*

    ?????= Are you awake?

    John= Oh.... yes. Oh, hello.

    ?????= You must be John from last night. And your accompanied by 3 grils, Reimu told me all about it, and all the fun and work you did as well. I also can tell you been meeting more of the locals.

    John= Sure have. I met some interesting locals. Keinie, Rinnosuke, Mokou....

    ?????= I understand you met Keinie and Rinnosuke, but Mokou? She hardly meets anyone new. I also heard you met a tengu named Aya. You need to be careful arround her. She's quite tallented but you should still watch your back. Her tallents often cause trouble. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Im Yukari Yakumo.

    John= Nice to meet you too.

    *Suddenly, the girl from last night, Suika allong with a child like girl with cat's ears and 2 tails wearing a red dress and a green mob cap and another tall woman with short blonde hair, a strange paper charm decor cap and a batch of fox tails behind her, looking currios at John who was tucked in the fution only to be awoken by Yukari.*

    Suika= Oh, it's the guy from last night who stayed here.

    Yukari= Oh, Suika. Your here too.

    Suika= Yep. So, what are we going to do with him today? Isn't he with those 3 girls from last night?

    Yukari= Yes he is. Aya wants him to be a backup photographer, but you know her. She's always up to something mischiefous.

    *Sudenly, Reimu returned with a plate of pork dumplings and a hot kettle with freshly made green tea. Reimu sat the plate and kettle down where John layed and John began to eat some of the dumplings.*

    John= Mmmmm... really good. Thanks Reimu.

    *The girl with the cat ears and green mob cap (Chen) suddenly sliped behind John and snatched a dumpling from the plate and eaten it.*

    Yukari= Chen, that isn't polite to our guest.

    *The tall woman with the fox tails and cap (Ran) looked alittle appailed at Chen.*

    Ran= I thought I tought you better manners than this, not just in front of Master Yukari but to our guest.

    Chen= Ops, *hic* Sorry.

    John= Oh, it's quite alright. If these were given to me, then I think it's alright if she had a piece.

    Chen= Thank you sir. Im Chen by the way. Im sorry if I took that dumpling without asking.

    John= It's ok.

    *Chen sat on John's lap and John embraced her in his arms and gently snuggled her and as John stroked her back and her head rested on his chest, John can hear purring from her.*

    Ran= uhhh..... Sorry about her.

    John= Oh, it's fine.

    Ran= Are you worried that your tea will get cold?

    John= Im fine. I don't like my tea boiling hot. I hope you don't mind me asking, but do anyone have any sugar? I don't drink tea without it.

    Yukari= Oh very well. Here.

    *Yukari hands John a canaster of sugar and John added it in his cup and poured the tea all with one hand while Chen was on his lap.*

    Ran= Chen...... I think you snuggled with him long enough.

    Chen= Sorry. John..... thanks for letting me ...*blushes*

    John= It's quite fine. *blushes*

    *Chen got off of John and Yukari continued to get down to buisness with John, discussing whee he came from and how he arrived in Gensokyo without being noticed.*

    Yukari= A big blue box you say? And those 3 girls from last night were your companions?

    John= Yep. It's bigger on the inside. Plus we were being pursued by a Galactic federation ship. Possibly that ship was stolen by some hostiles who were after me and the 3 girls. We escaped and hid here. I heard that this border is undetectable and powerful so that ship couldnt possibly find it's way here.

    Yukari= Correct. Hmmm... space ships? Possibly from the outside world.

    Suika= So...your from the outside world?

    John= Yep. Im far far away from home.

    Ran= John, I have a question for you. Since your American, how do you speak Japanese so well?

    John= I don't. It only sounds like it. It's the TARDIS's translator unit. It taps into my mind allowing me to speak any language, even ones I never even heard of. If I even knew Japanese and tried it now, it would sound like either gibbrish or another language.

    Chen= I don't understand at all.

    John= That ship is alien. It was from a very advance civilization.

    Ran= Master Yukari, should we inform Eirin about this? She could be well interested in it.

    John= Who's Eirin?

    Suika= Like you don't know!? She's the doctor, nurse, and pharmacist of Gensokyo for nearly 1200 years. She's not origionally from here either. She's a Lunarian.

    Ran= People from the moon. She and the princess were expelled from the moon and moved here over 1300 years ago. Before Gensokyo came to being.

    John= How was it like?

    Ran= im only 800. I wasn't even born yet. Master Yukari would know, cause she's.......

    Yukari= Yep, I am older than the history of Gensokyo itself.

    John= I still think it's brilliant. So, anyone know where I can freshen up and brush my teeth?

    Reimu= uh?...... John, you have a visitor. Guess who it is?

    John= I give up. Who?

    *Suddenly, with a beaming smile, Aya Shameimaru appeared with a beaming overconfident smile and she wasn't allone this time. She had another tengu with her, this time a girl with short white hair, animal ears, a fluffy wagging tail, a long black skirt, a white sleveless top with tie on sleves, a red tokin and with a sword and shield on her back. It was none other than Momiji Inubashiri, the white wolf tengu.*

    Aya= We don't want to be late picking him up do we?

    John= Oh, morning Aya. I need to freshen up and br....

    Aya= Oh you can do that in the village. Now up and at'om!

    Yukari= Your not serious?

    Momiji= We need to train the new assistant. We can dress him up our way too.

    Aya= No way your going to be a journalist dressed like that in your jumper.

    John= I wore a kimono last.....

    Aya= We got something better for you! Now, c'mon were going.

    John= Ok. Everyone. Thanks so much it was great.

    Aya= Momiji, help him up ok?

    Momiji= Sure thing.

    *Momiji swiftly grabbed John by his hand and took him outside where Aya was waiting and she helped John get on piggyback on Aya's back.*

    Yukari= Is this actually nessasary?

    Aya= *grunt*.....Guh.....damn, your heavy. Putting on a bit of weight?

    John= I don't mean to be rude, but why piggyback? You know im bigger than everyone here.

    Aya= It's fine. I need to put on more muscle anyway. It's fine, im alittle over 1000 years old. I can handle this.

    Momiji= Ok, Aya. What's next?

    Aya= Just wait, we'll take off together. John needs to get used to flying so this will also be part of this training.

    John= This..... is training for me? Riding piggyback?

    Aya= You be suprised.

    Reimu= I got a funny feeling that this isn't going to be what it seems.

    Yukari= If you want to take him to youkai mountain so badly, I can take him there myself and...

    Aya= Nah, it's fine. I prefer the inconvienence. Makes us tougher. Ok, without further adue, we best be heading off.

    *Aya, now hunched with John on her back pulls out a spell card.*

    Chen= Isn't that her.....

    Ran= Uh oh.

    Reimu= I should'ive known.

    Aya= See you later everyone. *holds her spell card up* FU-JIN-SHO-JYO!!

    *And with a bright white light, Aya levitated and BAM! Took off like a stealth bomber, with Aya smiling alongside Momiji which enjoyed themselves but with John screaming fiercely, that everyone at the Hakurei shrine could hear it all.*

    Reimu= He must not seem to like rollercoasters.

    Chen= Poor John.

    Ran= So, what got Aya interested in hiring him?

    Reimu= Some of her god damn crazy ideas, adding the assistant journalist job in my book.

    Suika= ooohh...

    Yukari= John's in for it big time. Well, were heading off too. Im going to see if we can get John an apointment with Eirin.

    Reimu= What about those other 3 girls?

    Yukari= I'll leave them up to you. Got to go now.

    *Yukari opened a border portal in which herself, Chen and Ran entered and vanished.*

    Suika= Oh well. What could possibly go wrong for John now?

    *Later....in youkai mountain, the tengu village, Aya and Momiji arrived in a flash as they looked refreshed while John dropped from Aya's back and in total shock.*

    Momiji= Oh..... so he didn't enjoy the flight.

    Aya= Oh, he'll get used to it. Now get him inside the office. We need to get him dressed for work.

    Momiji= Gotcha.

    *Momiji dragged John inside the building by his leg and with John moaning and shivering as if he was suffering from a seizure. Later when John recovered from his shock..... he woke up to find himself dressed in a pair of red and black baggy pants, a long collared sleveless red top, white tie on sleves, tabi's, tengu okobo's and a red tokin with white puff balls hanging from it. John got up and said to himself....*

    John= Oh, god, im never doing that again.

    Momiji= How did I do Aya?

    Aya= not bad at all.

    *John tried to walk but John lost his ballance and fell back on the futon with a thud.*

    John= Aughhh... I cant walk in those.

    Aya= Oh, he's only human. I have these left over. I got these from Rinosuke's shop incase those okobo's wouldn't work with him.

    John= I like to know how you tengu get arround in those?

    *Momiji took the okobo's off of John's feet and replaced them with the shoes that Aya got from her bag, a pair of black mary janes that previously was bought used but in good condition. Suprisingly fitted John perfectly although John wore a 13 B. Momiji had fitted them on John.*

    John= Aren't these popular in this place?

    Momiji= Well..... kind'a. Marisa wears them all the time. Reimu and Saiane occasionly,....

    Aya= Now we need to get him geared up. Here is your journal book, pen, phone, and camera. Oh....one more thing...... some girl named Kaolla Su left a strange package for you John.

    John= Really?

    *John got the package and it was a racing broom, a Nimbus 2001 "black handle with silver and black tinted bristles and the pedals with a silver finish" she got from the wizarding world allongside a sonic screwdriver and one of John's various wands.*

    Momiji= What's that metal thing? Looks like a pen for laser tag.

    John= It's a sonic screwdriver.

    Aya= And what's with that funny looking twig?

    John= One of the wands I carved myself. Like it?

    Aya= Like a magican's wand? Speaking of magician, one of Reimu's friends is a magicain. Her name is Marisa Kirisame. You really need to meet her.

    John= Hey, I believbe I seen her last night. She was with the meeting with Reimu.

    Momiji= Now, we need to get you started in training. Wash up first then come to me once your done.

    (Music dies down slowly)

    *John washed up and brushed his teeth, and was ready to be trained by those mischievous tengu.......meanwhile......Kaola, Shinobu, and Nyamo were visiting Keine.*

    Shinobu= We have jobs for the next weeks festival.

    Keinie= That's great news.

    Nyamo= There's just one problem.

    Keinie= And what would that be? By the way, why isn't John with you?

    Kaolla= Oh, John's gonna be fine.

    Shinobu= Some tengu named "Aya" took him to their home village.

    Keinie= WHAT!?

    Nyamo= Aya said something about making him an assistant reporter for that Bumbumaru news team.

    Keinie= Not again. Aya is always using her tallents to cause mischief, and now she's dragged John into it. Listen, you 3 need to try and stay away from Aya. She may be a reporter, but unlike the reporters you seen, she always writes journals in a rather tacky fashion. She also caused a rucus for both the Scarlet Devil residence and for a lunarian named "Kaguya Houraisan". Remember that she and Mokou are not in friendly terms.

    Shinobu= Why is that Miss Keinie?

    Keinie= This is best not mensoned to any of them. Mokou may look young but she is over 1300 years of age. Kaguya is 100 years older since she was exiled from her home. She likes to fiddle with humans, she once dispised. She challenged a group of them to a challenge called the impossible requests, but none sucseeded, not even Mokou's father. After that, she's dispised Kaguya even to this day. So I warn you all. Give them no reason to harm you, and be careful about what you say to any of them.

    Nyamo= 1300 years? What are they miss Keinie?

    Keinie= That should be enough. That's all I should tell you.

    Kaolla= So John's gonna be a reporter. Isn't that great?

    Keinie= Not if your gonna be trained by Aya. You still dont get it. Aya is also a pervert. When she caused rucus in the Scarlet Devil Manson, she took photograps of Sakuya and Flandre's panties. Remilia was absolutely furrious. We got to get John out of that place. But the Tengu village is way up in the great Youkai Mountain, that village rarely gets any human visitors.

    Shinobu= Does Mokou know of this?

    Keinie= No, not yet. Mokou aren't exactly in friendly terms with them either. At least for Aya. She tried to take photgraphs of Mokou once when she was changing. It ended pretty nasty.

    Kaolla= I also heard John had a visit from a lady named "Yukari" and talked about taking John for a check up at this place called "Eientei".

    Keinie= Even I go there for a check up when I need too, even my students. Eirin Yagokoro is a lunarian like Kaguya, but if you ever go there, be warned.... Eirin isnt used to living with humans and not very much ajusted to their lifestyle. I wish Yukari wouldive told me about this.

    Shinobu= Should we go look for Mokou?

    Keinie= Well.... since you brought it up, I don't see why we shouldn't.

    Kaolla= So, let's wait till she comes home.

    Keinie= She dosent live here with me. She lives in the great bamboo forest. And it's too dangerous to go allone, especally at this hour.

    Nyamo= How can we contact her?

    Keinie= We can't just call her.

    Kaolla= We can go to her home by using the TARDIS!

    Keinie= A what? What's a TARDIS?

    Kaolla= TARDIS. It's our ship. It's how we got here. It's spelled T.A.R.D.I.S. Time And Realitive Dimenson In Space. It's alien, it has aliens stuff in it, and we can go anywhere in a heartbeat.

    Keinie= I don't know what she's talking about.

    Shinobu= Sorry about Kaolla miss Keinie. She's usualy like this.

    Nyamo= I think it's best to see for yourself.

    *Later, the 3 girls took a walk with Keinie in the human village plaza and took her to the TARDIS. Keinie gazed at the 1950's big blue wooden box that has the infamous sighn on top of the lighted area "POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX".

    Keinie= A "police public call box"? Isn't this some sort of phone booth from the outside world?

    Kaolla= It's a disguise for our ship. It came like that when I first found it.

    Shinobu= But you must come see what's inside. Trust us.

    *Keinie followed the girls inside the blue box, and from Keinie's suprise to step into a large wooden box, she saw the ridiculously huge open space and all the salvaged alien technology from random dimensons, she saw computers that were at least several thousands ahead of the development time and several palm trees planted arround large pipes and wooden crates piled up in an unorganized way. In the center, she saw a clear pipe in the middle of it and the main control platform with controls and terminals she never seen before as it was some sort of spaceship.*

    Nyamo= What do you think Miss Keinie.

    Keinie= Oh my god...... who are you people!?

    Kaolla= Were just traveling humans.

    Keinie= It's remarkable that you kids even gotten a hold of such a vessel. Eirin is going to flip her wig when she see's this. Or maybe it's best not to tell her about this, untill we can make sure we can trust her with this.

    Shinobu= This ship is from a planet called..... what was it again Kaolla?

    Kaolla= Gallifrey. The lost world of the Time Lords. Rumor has it that there is just 1 left now. And were best not bumping into him untill the time is right. It's too early in his timeline.

    Keinie= Oh ..... my...... how did you come across such knowledge!?

    Kaolla=......the enclosed instruction book?

    Keinie= I tell you what. Change of plans. We need to see a youkai witch who has the biggest library in all of Gensokyo. But I will have to send her a letter, and she lives at the residence that recieves almost no guests. The "Scarlet Devil Manson".

    Kaolla= I can search the TARDIS GPS system and teleport there.

    Keinie= We cant just barge in there. It's private property.

    Kaolla= Then we can phone them. The TARDIS phone network calls in any time, space, and annoyamous residences. When you said this was a phone booth? You were right. It's the greatest phonebooth in space since Bill & Ted's .....

    Nyamo= I think she get's the point.

    (Music dies down slowly)

    *Meanwhile...... in the far reaches of space..... a beat up galactic federation millitary flagship was traveling through the time vortex and within it..... was anything but galactic federation solgers, and in the illegally modified stolen vessel, was a made from scratch contraption with a batch of crystals wired to it. Crystals from another magical dimenson, and with sap from one of the Myrr trees from one of the Final Fantasy worlds.....but opperating the ship and the devise was none that a group of scavaging scouts of Daleks.*

    Dalek 1= REPORT CURRENT DIMENSONAL POSSITION!

    Dalek 2= CURRENT DIMENSONAL POSSITION IS STILL UNKNOWN. CONTINUING TO PUSUIT OF TIME, SPACE, AND DIMENSONAL TRAVELERS.

    Dalek 3= WE ARE SCANNING THE VORTEX. NO CURRENT CONDUCTION TRAILS YET FOUND. WE ARE CONTINUING TO SCAN AND PATROL DIMENSONAL ZONES UNTIL WE FIND THE SCORCE.

    Dalek 4= ONCE WE HAVE A LEAD, WE CAN PINPOINT AND LOCATE THE SCORCE OF THE ENEMEY SHIP AND CORNER OUR TARGET.

    Dalek 2= THE MYRR CRYSTAL IN THE CAPSULE IS STILL INTACT AND WORKING 100% EFFICENCEY.

    Dalek 4= ONCE WE FIND THE CONVICTED TARGETS, THEY WILL PAY FOR OUR DOWNFALL OF THE WIZARDING WORLD AND THE DIMENSON WE FOUND THE MYRR TREES. THEY WILL BE DESCOVERED....AND EX-TER-MIN-ATE'D!

    (Music dies down slowly)

    *The beat up galactic ship continued to fly through the dimensonal vortex by using a time and space machine made from salvaged materials from their old ships and continued to travel restlessly for John and the 3 girls, thus vowing revenge for the defeats from their previous encounters with them.*

    Meanwhile..... back at Gensokyo.....in the bamboo forest of the lost, there was Mokou's house, and she stepped outside when she heard the whooshing noise when she saw the TARDIS materialize and it was next door to her house. She was in even more shock when she saw Keinie step out from it.*

    Mokou= Keinie!? What is that!?

    Keinie= Oh.... I forgot to tell you. These girls are the founders of this vessel. This is how they got here. Remember the lecture we had last night?

    Mokou= That thing looks like an object from the outside world.

    *Kaolla, Shinobu, and Nyamo stepped out of the TARDIS.*

    Kaolla= Like it? It's quite a vessel isn't it?

    Mokou= Vessel...... it's a big blue wodden box.

    Keinie= But only on the outside. Come and see.

    Mokou= I was getting ready to bathe.

    Kaolla= Your more than welcome to take a shower here. We got plenty of water.

    *Mokou stepped into the TARDIS, having the feeling about taking a bath in a phone booth, but to her suprise she saw the rediculously huge room and space it had.*

    Nyamo= Keinie was suprised too.

    Shinobu= So Miss Mokou, like it?

    Mokou= Unbelievable. It's huge.

    Kaolla= Ill help Mokou find the bathroom.

    Mokou= By the way, why isn't that man with you?

    Keinie= We will talk about him later, he seemed to run into an incident with Aya.

    Shinobu= You see..... this "Aya" forced John to take a reporter job, even though he refused to, they....

    Keinie= It's not his fault, but Aya surried him al the way into the tengu village.

    Mokou= WHAT!? That iddiot! What buisiness does she have dragging a forenger all the way up there!?

    Keinie= There's more. He was visited by Yukari when John stayed the night at the Hakurei shrine. He didnt sleep here last night. Yukari planned to take him to Eientei to get a check up.

    Mokou= That stupid tengu, Aya.

    Keinie= I heard she tried to sighn HER job up for John in Reimu's festival book.

    Shinobu= Reimu was also quite blunt too. She even suggested Aya to use her own book....

    Mokou= *scoffs* Iddiots! Both of them.

    Nyamo= Are tengu really that rowdy?

    Mokou= YES THEY ARE! And if your not carefull, they'll end up either spoiling you or humilliating you!

    Keinie= Mokou, you better take your shower. We can discuss this later.

    (Music dies down slowly)

    *So Kaolla escorts Mokou arround the corridors of the TARDIS and leads her to the showers and she prepairs to take her shower. Keinie stayed with the 3 girls and talked about the TARDIS and it's amazing features and past travels they had together with John. But as for John...... well.....that will be descovered on the next chapter.*
