As I lay there crying
I wondered why they left
Abandoned me
I looked up to the blackened sky
I wondered if they care
If they ever cared?
If they did why did they leave me here?
Alone?
In the dark?
I wondered why they left.
Why they cast me aside?
Did they feel bad?
Did they even know?
If they knew would they care?
The pain increased
I cried out
The tears flowed like blood
Trickling down to the ground
I wished they were here
Here to protect me
Here to love me
I wondered if they did
If they even knew what love was?
If they knew love then why did they leave me?
If they knew love why didn’t they stay?
If they knew love why didn’t they come back?
The reason for all, they don’t.

It's pretty good. It would be a bit better if it had more of a rhythm to it so it could flow easier. 4/5 For effort.
