Hair of gold and eyes of the brightest green,
Brighter than the fires that consumed Valyria.
Never had Westeros a more glor'ous queen
And she succumbed to vanagloria.
The fairest queen from the Wall to Asshai,
No dragon can compare with her beauty,
But prophesied, sung by an old maegi,
A younger, more beautiful queen will be.
Jealously devises a wicked plot
To rid herself of this dang'rous rosette.
It seems the little flower has forgot
A Lannister will always pay her debts.
But the lioness's own due is nigh, and
The valonquar will strangle her with his gold'n hand.

Description:
A sonnet I had to write for English class.
I'm pretending "valonquar" has only two syllables. And yes, I am aware that the title is strikingly similar to that of a novel by Tamora Pierce. I didn't realize this until the afternoon after I turned this in. So it's kind of officially the title now, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Oh, and the picture isn't mine. - Date: 04/03/2010
