Application ScenarioYou stand on a small platform of rock, floating in a seemingly endless void. Occasionally there are flashes in the distance; rips in the Veil, through which you can see various landscapes and worlds.
Were you summoned through magic? Called by mysterious voices? Did you stumble upon it by accident or through design?
A rather strange person of indeterminate gender stands with you on the platform, accompanied by a copious amount of sparkles. Long pointed ears, little sparkling multicolored wings, brilliant blue cat-like eyes, snow white hair. Though many features look familiar, you can't quite put a name to their species.
An equally strange door looms behind them, made of an unknown silvery material - not quite wood, not quite metal, warm to the touch and humming at a low pitch. Sigils and designs dance across its surface; they look just a little different each time you blink.
The strange person gestures towards the strange door with a little bow and smile. 'Welcome, we were waiting.'
You have a very simple choice: Go through the door and embrace the eccentricity of the Hub, or ignore the door and forever return to your mundane existence.
