 I really do need to get back into writing and working on my novel. I briefly wrote a scene a day or two ago. But I need to do a full few hour writing session. I'm at the point where I want to do some research and some brainstorming for some refining aspects of my story, but I can't until I finish the first draft. I'm worried that if I get too focused on the research aspect that I'll never finish the first draft... or try to rush to a completed version, which I definitely do not want. Not going back to my old writing habits that did nothing but squash the amount of creative work I put out.
