Well, Mom just got home from work. So, I'm going to head off now since I'm sure dinner will be ready pretty soon. Talk to you later.#f51379 #a51cba

After dinner I was helping my Mom update her resume. The last time she worked on it was back in 1999. She still will have to work some more on it but she's at a starting point.
With things getting extremely stressful at her current position/job, my Mom is actually starting to look for other jobs seriously. My Dad recently found a position that she could apply for if she was interested. She'll have to send in her resume/application before the 6th though... so she's trying to quickly get everything together that she needs before doing the applying process.

Since I took care of the invitation for my b-day party and determined a cake design that I'll end up going with... I think my next step is to determine which book or character I'm going to dress up as.
"Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book or favorite book character."

The first idea is dressing up as someone from the Harry Potter series. I probably could go as either Hermione Granger or Luna Lovegood. If I did do a HP cosplay, I probably would do Luna - since I'm a Ravenclaw. RAVENCLAW FTW!

What other books are at the top of my list... well, there's the Sherlock Holmes series. While I do have a coat that is similar to BBC Sherlock's, I don't think I would want to wear that around during a warm June day. Plus I don't really have anything else to use for the outfit. So... that's out of the question.

Another favorite of mine is "Mistress of Dragons" by Margaret Weis... but once again, I don't really have anything that I can work with to do that one. Plus I doubt anyone would be able to figure out what I was cosplaying in the first place, lol.
Jane Austen's "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice" are too time oriented to do anything with.

Cassandra Clare's works are a favorite of mine too. I might be able to do something with them... maybe. But that's not a positive option.
I could possibly dress up like Katniss. She's got a few outfits I could work with.
