Yeah, not my best work, but it could be fun, right? I intentionally left the party of people open to interpretation, so you all could fill it with adventurers of your choosing. Maybe someone in the party is in love with the princess? Maybe a spy hired by the unnamed enemy is part of the group? Heck, maybe the princess herself doesn't want to go through with this and is more of a prisoner than anything else? It's up to you all where this goes, but let me know if we should make any changes first.

Summary:

As many a story goes, war has engulfed the continent. Endless fighting sweeps the five nations of Aardurin, lasting for several generations. No one quite remembers how it began, but from the time before even the current ruler's reigns, skirmishes erupt all over the different areas without warning, only to lead to different conflicts clear across the map. It has become almost commonplace for meaningless battles to take out a city or two before they die down, leading to a very wounded and suspicious world.

In the midst of this great, century-long power struggle, the easternmost country of Erste has made a deal with the western nation of Zende to send over their only princess to be married to the prince, as a condition to forge their alliance. However, this deal was kept secret, as to avoid conflict with the country that lay between them, and only the royal families and a select group of people know what it to occur. The erstian princess is to leave the castle in secret, taking only what it necessary and being escorted by a small group of guards to avoid notice by those that would halt their progress.

As luck would have it, however, a certain man in the courts was included in the people who arranged the deal. It was of his opinion that Zende should invade Erste and simply take it over, rather than relying on the weakest of countries as an ally. To set his own plan in motion, this faceless foe has arranged for bands of mercenaries and units from any army he could convince to attempt to stop the princess's party in their tracks. The small band has no idea of the danger they are about to face, but for the sake of their country, they must not stop.

I like it, but I think I'd be most interested in playing a female villain! emotion_dealwithit

Very nice, but have you considered being obsessed with this song? I've played it several times in a row now because the person who lives next to me in the dorms is apparently an opera singer, and not a good one.

It's a song about manliness, touches my heart every time crying Row Row Fight The Powa

Oh, and for the record, a female villain would be awesome. I'm considering playing a 30-something knight to help lead the charge, but there are plenty of possibilities for a character here. Heck, the plot may not even stay on that track, if the main group decides it.

I couldn't dance cus I was eating gumbo while listening to it, but I did nod my head to the beat a lil. However, I don't believe it beats Metric =P

Ah, all villains? Well heck, we could play it adventure style where villains will switch sides after defeat? I wouldn't force you to that and all, but some heroes are also required. As for the required roles, I'm really leaving that one open. Like I said, if you want to be a young knight in love with the princess, go for it, or you could be a spy or any other conceivable character. I would also like someone to sign up to play the princess if possible.

As for when this is made, I'm really not keen on making boards. I like making plots, so if any of you wants to use it, go ahead. Just not likely to build it myself since I hate decorating and trying to build rules and profiles and the like. Anyone want to use this? Oh, and if you do, take any creative liberties you want with it. Make more pairings, create roles you want to fill, whatever you see fit. I love to see my plots expanded.

Oh, and on a separate note, if I am making a thread, I do believe that I'll be making a very specific type. There wouldn't be a plot present at first, and you all would have to just kind of have to trust me as we went through it and I revealed more and more to it as things went on. Wouldn't be too pre-planned, so where the group goes would probably change the story as a whole, but I would like to make an rp with surprising twists and a sense of helplessness in the players.

Let's call it a story that you all really do have to grow in, an rp where you know just as much as your characters and have to decide whether you simply survive or find out what is happening in this crazy world. Would any of you like that?
