I'm Mademoiselle Juko! I'm a hetero chick, but I support the LGBT community. My view on it is: We're all human. No matter what. And who's business is it who someone else chooses to love? I can't believe Prop 8 got passed. That proposition is one of the stupidest things I ever heard. And everytime I asked someone "yes or no", they'd immediately go, "Are you gay?" Now that I think about it, I should have told them yes. See what they did. I'm agnostic, but many of my friends are highly religious. Especially my best friend. She's Catholic, and her parents think that gays are disgusting. She pretends that she does, ever since I opened her eyes to how wrong her parents were. My other friend, who is a Christian, doesn't seem to care, but sometimes I get the feeling that she thinks LGBT persons are nasty, too. I think my mom is against gays, too. I'm not sure, though. But the last time I told her that I supported gays, she immediately asked if I was thought I was gay. (Why is that the first thing people always ask me when I show that I'm a rainbow supporter!?) Anyway, I told her that I thought Prop 8 and DADT (even though it's been repealed JOY!!!!!) were stupid, she asked why, and I said, "Because I thinks its stupid to make laws against a specific type of people." I mean, we got over the whole "blacks are lower than whites" crap, right? Anyway, you know what my mom said? She said, "Well, there are laws preventing me from having more than one husband and that prevent me from jaywalking." Geez! Those laws are made for GOOD reasons! So! On a note that will not make us reach for a hammer and hit ourselves over the head with, here are some interesting (or not) things about me! -I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam Lambert! In fact, I'm a bit unhealthily obsessed with him redface -I like the Scissor Sisters, too...but not as much as Adam Lambert *derp* -I don't think that new Lady Gaga song "Born This Way" is inspirational to LGBTs at all...it's pretty much four minutes of "I'm on the right track, I was born this way!" (The music video is SOOOOO freaky! The beginning is cool, though) -I'm a trombonist in the advanced band at my school! The ONLY one -My mom makes the best tacos EVAR -My dad just installed our new dishwasher biggrin No more staying up late with my sisters doing dishes!!!! -My house is full all the craft stuff you can imagine...and I still don't know how to sew! *Note: I re-did my introduction because my last one SUCKED. I deleted it.  |
