I wonder if I look somewhat like this when I do my creepy smile when I get really focused on something I'm doing, lol.

don’t even try to lie to yourself and say that crush you have on a character is just a joke
you know it’s real
you know you’re 95-100% serious about it
you know that there are legitimate feelings and attraction there
you know
you knowHmm... yeah, okay then...

Yesterday I went to an event at the university. When my acquantice-friend sent me an invite for it, I was on the fence on whether I wanted to go or not... but in the end decided to go. And I'm glad I did. They had a room set up with little carnival games that you could win Halloween candy or toys from. There was a coloring station that you could color your own little goodie bag. There was a face painting station (I didn't do that one) and a station where a hairdresser gal could put a feather into your hair. Then they had two local bands perform. They were probably my favorite part of the event.

*looks at list of Halloween 2k13 items* Ooo... look at that! There's purple in the items this year along with the standard orange and black. I definitely pick up on a New Orleans/Voodoo feel to the styling of the items this year.

1. What’s your first Halloween memory ever? Um... probably going to the school autumn festival event when I was in like 3rd or 4th grade maybe, and the fortune teller trying to "predict" my favorite things and she kept getting them wrong. Epic fail on her part.
2. Describe your best Halloween: My favorite Halloweens have been the times that my friends and I got together for a Halloween party... and going to Monster Ball at the university.
3. Now describe your worst Halloween: The years that I wanted to do something but nothing happened.
4. What was your favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever worn? River Song. Though if I wear my Castiel cosplay this year, he may very well demote River to second place.
5. What was the worst costume you’ve ever worn? I've enjoyed all of the costumes I've worn.

6. Have you ever been to a huge Halloween party? Monster Ball is the biggest Halloween celebration I've been to.
7. What were your Halloween traditions as a kid? Dressed up and went to the school's Autumn Festival event. Watched Halloween-themed films with my parents - usually Casper, since that's my Mom's favorite film.
8. Who did you used to go trick-or-treating with? I didn't go trick-or-treating until a couple times during my high school years when my friend Ame invited me along. I don't live in an area that trick-or-treating happens; you might find it in the gated communities nearby maybe... but not where I am. It wouldn't be safe for kids to be walking the roads at night where I'm at.
9. Did you ever get in trouble by the cops on Halloween? No.
10. Have you ever dressed up as one of the Disney princesses? Nope. But I hope to cosplay as Briar Rose/Princess Aurora at some point, whether its for Halloween or for some other occasion.

11. What’s the worst thing you ever got when trick-or-treating? Um... not sure.
12. What candy did you used to hope you would get when trick-or-treating? Any candy was good. Well, except for gum. I don't like gum.
13. Did your mom ever make your costumes? She made the lamb costume for me. Probably was one of my first costumes I ever wore for Halloween.
14. Did you ever go to school dressed up? Yes! So much fun walking on the university campus in my Halloween attire, lol.
15. Did you ever get seriously scared on Halloween? Over what? No.

16. Have you ever been in a shaving cream fight? No.
17. Did anyone ever egg you or your house? No.
18. Have you ever gone to a haunted house or a haunted corn maze? Haunted House at the nearby amusement park. But not on Halloween, no.
19. Was Halloween better when you were a kid or now? Now because I actually have friends I can spend the holiday with.
20. Have you ever carved something really cool into a pumpkin? I've only carved two pumpkins that I remember. One I carved my cat's face into... and the other one I carved the TARDIS into.
If I was to carve a pumpkin right now, I would want to carve the Anti-Demon Possession tattoo from Supernatural. Or maybe the symbol from Charmed. xd

1. Do you / does your family celebrate Halloween? If no, for what reason? For the most part, my parents just decorate the house and maybe watch some of our Halloween-themed movies during the holiday. Other than that, they don't do much. Personally I would get a bit more decked-out in terms of Halloween decorations than what we have. And I tend to do more Halloween-related events than my parents do.
2. Are you attracted to spooky & macabre things naturally? I'm more attracted to supernatural-oriented things than horror/macabre-oriented things.
3. What has been your favorite costume you have ever worn? So far it's been River Song. But she might be demoted to second place if I wear Castiel for Halloween this year.
4. At what age did you / do you plan to stop trick-or-treating, or participating in Halloween at all? Aside from the church and school Harvest events, I didn't do any trick-or-treating until a couple years during my high school days. There's a part of me that wished that I got to experience that aspect of Halloween more. Maybe when my "nephew" is old enough to go trick-or-treating, I can tag along with my friends and him and get to experience the activity that way.
And Halloween will always be a favorite holiday of mine. So, there's no way I'll stop participating in it.
5. Do you feel like less & less people participate in Halloween nowadays compared to when you were a kid? It's pretty much the same from what I've seen.
