I can't say much about pain because I've never gotten them pierced before. It probably won't hurt because your ear is numbed, right? surprised

Oh, I was like 7 when I saw this girl cry bloody murder... soooooo... it's safe to say I was QUITE intimidated. gonk Like seriously, she was sobbing her eyes out. confused

It's not numbed, at least not to the place I went (Claire's), but nonetheless, it still doesn't hurt because it's mostly just skin, as opposed to your nose or upper ears which are cartilage, or you lip/eye brow/tongue/places I won't mention which are skin and muscle.

And this girl was probably only screaming because of the sound that the gun made xD it is rather loud and intimidating when you hear it go "Crunch!" Though, like I said, it's very quick. I remember when I was 13, freaking out as I was sitting on the chair. I came close to entirely opting out and just running out of the mall. After I heard the "Crunch!" I was waiting for the pain, and the lady's like "Alright, one's done."
