Why did you start Cosplaying?
I wanted to dress up like my favorite characters. At first it was simply for Halloween and then expanded to other events that allowed me to dress up before I finally go to attend conventions.

What was the first convention where you cosplayed?
Kumoricon 2013 where I cosplayed as Sailor Venus.

Where can people see you next?
I'll be attending Kumoricon for a second year in a row. biggrin

Funniest convention moment?
Karl Urban attending his panel at Emerald City Comicon 2014 drunk. A bit disorienting at times but quite hilarious when he kept calling out "TEQULA!" randomly throughout his panel.

What is the best part of cosplaying at a convention?
Watching people's faces light up when they see that you are dressed as your favorite character.

What other cosplayers inspire you?
JoEllen Elam and Traci Hines

Out of all of the Cosplayss you’ve created, which one has been your favorite?
Sailor Venus was my first cosplay costume I sewed myself and created my own look; considering I was a novice at sewing clothing I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, despite a few things that need to be changed or repaired now.

Flip side to that, which one was the most difficult to work with?
The elastic on the Sailor Venus costume.

What Cosplay are you best known for?
Probably Sailor Venus.

What part of “geekdom” is you favorite. i.e. comics, movies, video games, anime, etc?
Books and TV shows/movies are my favorite area because I'm more familiar with the various fandoms that exist.

What Video Game are you currently playing?
None.

What Video Game are you most looking forward to this year?
I don't play video games regularly, so I don't have any I follow regularly.

What Comic Books are you currently addicted to?
I've just started entering the world of comic books but I love the Buffy Season 10 and Serenity: Leaves on the Winds comics I got. I would love to get my hands on the Supernatural comic book series.

If money was no object what would be dream costume?
Right now I would love to create Codex... and maybe the silvery-white princess gown that Emma Swan wears. But I have quite a few dream cosplays I hope to do at some point.

What upcoming cosplays are you working on? Have any top secret plans?
I hope to make some adjustments/fixes to my Sailor Venus costume and reprise her at Kumoricon. I'll probably wear my Fem!Castiel (Castielle) cosplay too and will be part of the Eevee evolution cosplay group (possibly as Espeon). I would love to create Codex as my next cosplay project. Whether I'll be doing any other cosplays for Kumoricon or not... that is still yet to be determined.
