I grew up with my single mom. A lot of the men in her life were gay, and I came to see them as father figures. My a-hole of a real father was never around. I was partially raised by a gay man, Rusty, who even to this day continues to teach me lessons. He died back in the mid 2000's of AIDS. He WAS my father regardless of it not being by blood. I very strongly believe that his spirit watches over me.

I do tend to be tenacious when I am witness to bullying and gay bashing. When I know it is in jest I let it slide. I also partake in light hearted gay jokes. I use the words b***h and f** as terms of endearment.

I am a f** hag to the tenth degree. Even my current father figures say "you're a good hag." I'm glad that I make them proud. heart

So, where to begin? I'm Kayura. I've been on Gaia for 8 years now. @_@ I joined this site when I was 20. I am a bit older than the average Gaian's age. And I intend to keep using this site as long as it exists.

So, I'm bi and I've come out to some friends and my sister. I've been debating coming out to the rest of my family but now simply isn't the time. I'm engaged to a man and I either refer to him as my fiancee or my boything. We don't have a date on when we're getting married yet 'cause I want to lose some weight so I'm a beautiful bride. I've known that I was bi since I was very young. I looked at people differently than my peers did. It wasn't until my early 20's that first acknowledged what this meant and came out to my friends.

I saw this guild as one of the random suggestions when I was checking my other guilds. I'm fairly passionate about gay rights. I read a lot of articles about gay rights thanks to Facebook who has some great groups. I've debated with friends and family about gay rights in hopes of changing their views. And in November if my work schedule allows I'll be going to my first protest! I'm very hopeful I get the time off I need.

Anyways my friends know. And my family does.
My little sister: She was not shocked cause she knew I was interested in girls since we were young. She has be a great support.

Dad. He accepts it but makes many jokes and brings up questions and the most inappropriate times. Like if I'm the male in a current relationship or do I do the laundry. (he is the type were males are hunters and females are gathers). So annoying.

Mom. Its a phase. And will never ask how my relationships are. It makes her sad and uncomfortable even though she loves me still.

Hey i'm days we loose ( only my friends and family call me by my nick name so just call me Peaches smile i'm 20 turning 21 on November 9th woo i'm old i know. I am bisexual ever since i was 13 and felt attraction toward woman. I have dated 3 guys and one girlfriend (who i still will never ever forget ;( I am dating a guy who is one of my best friends and we graduated from High School together.( grad night was the worst watching him love someone else but we are together again and i am happy i would like to find an online girlfriend around my age. I have not come out to my family and very few friends understand why i am not coming out i don't think i'll ever come out my mother does not understand bisexuality and it would be so hard to explain it and being scared at the same time.I hide who i am and i know its not good for me it's been over five years since i've found out i am not straight. Sure i have dated more men and slept with two guys that actually counted. me and my boyfriend are bisexual but we are so afraid of both our familys disowning us. (i think his family would disown him because they are so homophobic his brother Camron makes G A Y jokes all the time and i know it hurts him it also hurts me too. My god-mother is a lesbian and she has been with her partner for as long as i can remember. They are one of the awesomeist people i have ever met.

Heeey, my name is Chris, I'm 21 years old, be 22 in march. So cool to find some people who are actually my age or older! I keep running into people that are like..not even apart of my age group! Anyway! I was raised mostly by my mother cause my mom and dad split when I was 2 years old so my mom ended up raising her myself. I used to hate my dad cause he would NEVER show up when he said he would but when I was about 12 years old I started hanging out with him more. He turned out to be AWESOME sadly he died 4 years ago..:/ died of a motorcycle accident. I now work at the Walt Disney company and I have to say I'm very happy with how came up to be though, while I'm young I think the events in my life really helped me to mature much earlier. I'm trying to go to school while working so I'm a pretty busy bee. I like to hang out with my friends a lot, go out for ice cream, go out to the movies sometimes. A little about me:
I've known I've been Bi for about five years now. It started out really conflicting for me. I was in a hetero relationship for a big part of that time but when I wasn't I experimented a lot with girls. I live in a sort of split world with my friends knowing, accepting and for the most part sharing my sexuality but my family having no clue. This is not because they are not accepting of homosexuals, but because they do not understand a person can be bisexual. They believe it has to go one way or the other and that a person cannot be attracted to both sexes at a time (don't even get me started on pansexual). I'm hoping to get up the courage to tell them because I would like to explore my sexuality more and openly. Besides that, I'm a writer, I love to travel (less then 200 days until my next big trip!) and I enjoy meeting new people. Come and chat with me!
