Hellz yeah, we're active! CSD was dead, but I spammed invites, had a little word of mouth go around, and 200 members later, we're here. It's epic.

Which is great. I'm so excited about this guild.

Umm... Good Afternoon. I'm Rex.
I got an invite to join and decided the Guild was related to my interests so here I am. Probably part of those "spammed invites" Eylios was talking about.
I love role-playing and Gaia happens to be the most active site for it. So again, here I am. Then again, I've been around too long to leave...
I seek out long-term role-players who will actually stick with a role-play long enough that it ends, not dies.
I also like to create role-plays and this seems to be the place for critiques on creating some role-plays so I'll probably start a thread or two looking for feedback.
That would be my introduction. =]

Okay, so. I was minding my own business when my phone vibrated, saying I received a PM on Gaia. Seeing that it was about this guild, I decided I should, indeed, join. It is, after all, relevant to my interests.

Was just wondering how I was found in the sea of roleplayers.

But anyway, erm, I love to write and roleplay. I also enjoy trying to create original stories/characters, though I haven't been able to do much of any of those things since starting college.

That's all, I suppose.

Dewds, I beat you all. I'm in April, on my dad's half-birthday, which means that his birthday is my half-birthday. It's totally awesome. Except that doesn't work out perfectly because my birthday is the thirtieth and his is the thirty-first of October (yes, HALLOWEEN, HOW COOL IS THAT?), but we just round it and so it's all cool biggrin

I LOVE MY BIRTHSTONE, BEE TEE DUBBS. I was supposed to be born in May but that doesn't matter because now I'm an April baby. April is a fun month, and there are lots of birthdays in April. Or, at least, April is the most birthday-congested amongst my friends/family.

I like using 'bee tee dubbs' without writing 'btw.' It makes me feel more original.

Alright, so I think we'll all agree that Eylios is rather efficient in attacking the roleplaying community with invites. ^^
I'm glad I was found.
I suppose I should tell a bit about myself...

For goodness sake, call me Cassie. It saves you the agonizing trouble of typing out those other three tedious syllables.

I'm sure to announce to the world whenever I make cookies. (Which is quite often).

I'll be starting college very soon.

And roleplaying has proven to be the best use of my muse. I love writing and creating characters and stories away from reality along with reading others and spreading ideas and opinions. I've seen threads wither and die. I've seen silent roleplays spring back to life stronger than the original. Like most of us, I've been hindered by writers block and indecisiveness countless times, and I'm ecstatic that someone was actually genius enough to create a guild for such dilemmas while still leaving room for the imagination to go to work.

Just wondering but is anyone else finding Gaia REEEAAALLLY slow these day? like the page loading times and whatnot?

that is absolutely true,
because they have been adding on stuff, trying to make it look much more pretty than it needs to.
and ultimately frying out our computers and their virtual memories.

there was an announcement a while back about removing the footer floater bar because it was causing pages to run slower, but i believe it's more than just that.

assuming that it may depend on the capabilities of your computer, then that's probably why. all i'm surrounded with are obsolete computers w/ terrible running programs
