I am an oddity. I haven't come out, my mother is a homophobe. Basically, I am a lesbian.
I don't find men attractive or their "disco sticks" but for some reason I am deeply in love with one man. We are engaged and going to be married next summer. But I'm gay. He knows this and is very supportive but he is the only one who seems to have a clue what it really means to me. I don't know how to come out without my family and everyone I know laughing in my face because they think I'm not for real or am after attention or something stupid like that. I have dated men that hurt me and women who hurt me. I never felt the same... connection I had with the women with the men. But the connection with my fiancee is so strong I forget the rest of it all. How can I say anything about this? I think it would be better... to just not tell them.
