I will be posting some links for me to get back to when I'm at home. So pardon the random links.
The other day the assistant manager brought out a print out inquiring about someone's loyalty card being used 7 different times (apparently it got flagged by the number of uses). I notified her I didn't actively know about it. It was probably a group of friends using one person's card and I didn't realize they were together. And some folks don't like putting a name when registering their card, so that probably played a part in me not noticing it. She seemed content with this. An hour or so later the head manager came into the Box Office and was like "Do you have a second? I need to talk to you privately." I was a bit confused on how serious it was about it and went over to chat with him. He had a print-out (looked like it referencing the 7 transactions mentioned earlier - this time with specific names (payment card users?) and he pointed at a name in an accusing tone, "Do you know who this is?" I was so shocked at what he was applying once I saw the name. It just happened to be someone with the same surname as me. Like seriously?! I've worked at the theater for almost 5 years and you're going to pull that sort of crap with me. I told him I didn't know who it was and they just happened to have the same surname, even went so far as indicating I have no Watson family in this area - they're all back in Illinois! stressed
Essentially it was the final straw and now I'm going to actively look for an alternative job to replace my theater job.

So, I recently created a Goodreads account and transferred all of my "to read" and "read" lists over there. As a result, I will no longer update the list I've been doing here.

I'll still be posting here in Why Not and what not. Just all of my tracking of books I've read and what to read will be all in one place... rather than multiple places. Easily to keep track of what's what now. 3nodding

I'm like Leonard because I'm always having to translate what the other person means... or make a comparison for the other person to understand. xd
