I was able to finish the new She-Ra series in just a couple days. Not hard to do when there's 13 episodes and they're 30 minutes long.
When I first saw the screen captured images from the show prior to its release, I wasn't sure how I would like it. But after watching it, I'm quite pleased with how well they honored the original series while still adding their own twists.
I wonder if there will be another season or not.

Yesterday I went up to Seattle with my friends to the Marvel exhibit up there. Overall, the day didn't go as smoothly as we planned.
When we started to head towards the area we would be parking, we suddenly were prevented by some police blocking the road. We kept trying to go around a different direction but kept being met with various police blockages. Eventually we discovered there were a couple women's marches going on at the time. stressed
Between the long car ride and dealing with loud noises from the crowd (when taking a bathroom break before heading to the exhibit), my friends' son was getting overwhelmed. He calmed down a bit once he was able to be in the stroller. Unfortunately, the museum staff wouldn't allow a stroller to go through the exhibit. neutral Makes no sense. It's not very tight in there (and lot less people now that its towards the end of the time its available) and you would think you would want young children to be better contained than running amok and possibly damaging anything on display (or mess with the glass surrounding items).
We still had a good time. Just didn't go as planned... and didn't feel like the trip was worth all the money spent. ((Prices for parking is ridiculous up there! $22 for 3 hrs.!?! I can pay $9 for 10 hrs. at the parking lot near where I work!)

Been glancing over some articles about the marches.
Apparently one of those marches didn't have a permit. Probably explains why there was no organization with the closures of the streets when we went through.

*sighs* I'm so tired. I didn't stay up late last night and I felt like I slept pretty well... just didn't feel like getting up today.

Resident: "What are you doing?" Me: "I'm working."
Okay... not really. But he doesn't need to know that. Plus he's always bugging people to talk to him but when you do have the time to, then he doesn't want to say anything. whee It can get a bit annoying sometimes when I'm actually trying to do stuff.

Resident to church friend (on phone): "I came down and you weren't out there. I didn't get notified you called right away."
Are you kidding me?! I spent the few minutes before you actually came down trying to track you down to let you know your ride was here. I called your room, I did an overhead call, and even called over the radio asking if staff had seen you. Don't try to pull any of that crap on me! stressed

Just about to go through the pictures I took at the latest get-together I did with my fellow local Critters. We went to the local science museum for their After Dark event - theme: Medieval Science.
I cosplayed as a casual version of Caleb. Very casual, if you saw one of the other Critters in her outfit. But it's all good! I still think it's funny how the two of us keep twin-ing. During Winter's Crest, we both did Winter versions of Keyleth. And then we just did a Caleb cosplay. sweatdrop

Hello again. I keep coming on to post but then get busy doing stuff and don't post anything after the initial greeting. Sorry about that. This time around I'll actually be posting more than one or two posts for the day. sweatdrop

Sometimes it sucks being so far behind on a show and not being able to be completely in on inside jokes relating to recent events. I don't mind being spoiled about anything. Pretty much everything I've seen of recent events, I just see it as a teaser. So, when I do come across those scenes in my viewing, I can be - "Oh! So that's what happened with that scene."

I've already been brainstorming on what other Critical Role characters I could cosplay next aside from the ones I've already had pre-planned for awhile.

I absolutely love Taliesin's character Mollymauk. Obviously, seeing as I changed my avi's outfit to resemble the character.
I have a feeling I'm going to love his other character Caduceus too. whee

*sighs* Sometimes I feel like I'm having to babysit children rather than be a receptionist at an assisted living. One person claims the other is doing something simple as getting too close to their face but when I inquire the other person about it, they indicate they weren't doing anything of the sort. And with this particular situation, it's hard to know who is telling the truth. This is the second day this type of interaction has been going. I have yet to personally see it. Hard to do so when the living room is on the other side of the wall from where the Front Desk is.
