CSD has been dead for so many months, there's really no way I can express how giddy your presence is making me.

I'm 17, almost 18, and I started roleplaying, oh, about 3 years ago, I think. Ever since I took an AP English Language course (which is technically call English Language and Composition - it's a whole class on analyzing and interpreting nonfiction essays, for those of you who might not know) last year, I've been trying to better my roleplaying. I'd like to start writing short stories, but as I am now, I'm not that great. I tend to skimp on detail and derail the plot.

@Sami: Thanks for the sympathy, heh. I think all I have is a cold, and that I should be fine if I spend the rest of the weekend sleeping propped up. A resource thread wouldn't be a bad idea at all, actually. Would you like to help me with that project?

@Shilo: NaNoWriMo... I knew a girl who participated a few years ago. That sounds like a great guild project! After what I said about my writing, it may be just the thing I need!

Yeah I wouldn't mind getting some links together. =D I actually have some spread out here and there in various threads and Guilds. XD They're mostly about RPing/RP Character Creation since that's what I've been focused on though. whee

Heh, and I usually just called my class AP English. XD We did the same kind of stuff, so my creative writing skills haven't seen much action for the past few years. >.> I can analyze the crap out of Revolutionary War era texts and archaic poems though.

As for NaNoWriMo, it sounds really interesting! Especially if it's the kind of thing where we make a kind of game out of it. 4laugh Like we can each only write 14 sentences max or something. I used write stories like that with my friends all the time before high school. 3nodding

Swervel! A writing guild that has active members! The last one I joined and posted to has been dead for a couple of months, so having an active place to post and interact is relieving.

As far as the roleplaying goes, I mostly stick to pen-and-paper RPG's, but hey, I'll try almost anything once. Mostly, I just love to write. It's been my calling for a few years, and even though I don't have my own computer, I've been doing everything I can to keep my works current.

As far as intros go: I'm 22, a loyal Washingtonian, and I mostly focus on fantasy, horror, and fanfiction. SOmetimes all at once. Mostly, I write stories based on what I would want to read, and so far, it's working pretty well.

Also, to Haruhi, congrats on the engagement! To disco, congrats on the wedding!

And for those of you who may have a hard time deriving any kind of nickname from my screen name, I usually post under my Penname, here and on other sites, which is Daemon McRae.

NaNoWriMo, if I recall correctly, is a contest of sorts. The goal is to write a 50,000 word story in one month.

There's no prize though, I think, so I guess it's really just the biggest damn writing ever or something.

And if you have links you want to share, you should send them to me! I know of an epic Roleplay 101 guide, and I link to it once in a while, but I really should just go ahead and ask EKA if I may repost it here.

So, um...my username is Pixelated Bloodbath. But you probably already knew that. Erm. C-call me Pixel, please. I really hate it when people call me Pixelated...I'm not just an adjective...

I'm sorry, is that weird? I just...never mind.

I'm seventeen...I'll be eighteen on Christmas Eve...I don't really need anything in the way of presents, so...but you weren't going to give me one anyway, right? Haha...but seriously, no presents, please. I hate all holidays except Halloween. D-don't ask...

I mostly do fantasy stuff...I'm kinda focusing on fanfiction right now...improving my writing style and such. I also like to do comics. I have three major comic ideas right now, but the third one's underdeveloped and I'd really like for it to go somewhere. I was kinda hoping that maybe this guild could help with that...oh, but maybe not...haha, I don't know.

I appreciate it, really, I do. The other two were easy enough--they're mostly action--but the last one's a bit more...mellow? Yeah, that's it. I just have no idea what to do with it. I may ask for some help after I develop the characters a bit more. So far I have four. Er, three and two halves, if that makes sense. And a possible sixth from a long-dead Alice in Wonderland parody.
