rofl Sup3r_Bwahaha elyzia First time logging into here in at least a year... ... was inspired to 'cause I'm going to New Jersey for one of my best friends birthday. We met in this guild like 7 years ago he was one of my crew members hahah (I used to be the captain... I also made this guild... so everything fxxxed up about it is prob my doing xD ) Hey, I remember you! I thought you were going away forever! It's good you've kept in touch with your friend. ^_^

elyzia Soooo since this guild is obviously pretty dead, I want to sort of auction it off.... not for any amount of gold of course, if anything the chosen recipient would be given gold to help with start-up funds... But this guild was never really about embrassing your individuality and oddity and being yourself.... never really a judgement-free zone (just like with Planet Fitness, you can't mandate a lack of judgment, that's mind control, which no institution has or should have)... more about getting lots of members and throwing lots of fake money around than about helping people with the problems they have no adequate outlet for in their offline world... ... First I have to figure out how to become the captain again though, then see who would even be interested.... When I got my back up against the wall! Don't need no one to rescue me!
Good to see you're still around. I hope your time away from Gaia has treated you well. biggrin
Vashy is still technically around. She pops in once every month or so and chats with me. You could try PMing her to see if she can transfer the captain role to you.

Wonderful... great to see at least a handful of familiar faces!!
So I'm currently trying, or going to be trying, balancing the rennovations process of this guild with rennovating my own mental & physical health (I'll expand on that another time, it's a very private matter, but one of the main attributes I envision this guild successfully possessing is that ability for us to communicate with eachother about real things we don't feel we can talk about elsewhere), so my presence here will be pretty unreliable. However, I'm going to stay the captain of this guild for a while to oversee things, but I want to pretty quickly get a group of people together to carry out whatever blueprints are drawn up with me, and then by them without me.
So the downside here is that I'm kind of telling people "this can be your guild, but I have a vision & ideas & you've got to be on board with that". (That said, however, everything that I "insist" Burn version 2 be about is very open-ended... like, no, the new crew members can't vote to make it a roleplaying guild. But the guild can have roleplaying, or anything else at all you'd want.) ... Again, this will be expanded upon much better in a formal post, since I'm kind of in a rush now anyway.
The upside is that whoever is willing to work for it & keep up the work here, just like they'd have to in any other guild, will more or less be able to start their own guild (so long as they're willing to make certain elements of the initial vision for Burn -- lack of judgement & helping others -- a priority in this new guild). Only instead of starting from scratch, you start with 32,000 members, lots of material that can be recycled from the past when appropriate (I'm sure not everything has to be completely rewritten, and obviously many banners can still be used...), AND a supply of gold from me to you so that crew members can host contests etc. without worrying about spending any of their own money.
There WILL be an official application form of sorts, but if any of you are interested in helping, let me know & you're in biggrin
