One of the Good Omens' scenes got me thinking... during Jesus' crucifixation, Aziraphale asks Crowley if he had met Jesus prior to that moment. Crowley states that he did, that he showed him the "kingdoms of the world." And for the record, this is indeed mentioned in the Bible. It's the Devil who is tempting Jesus but Jesus keeps declining the Devil's offers.
What really gets me is... why do churches not even mention this aspect of Jesus' life? Like... we get taught about his birth, how he was raised as a carpenter's son, he goes around teaching about the power of love as he becomes older, him being put on the cross, and coming back to life after three days. But no mention of the Devil trying to tempt Jesus. I feel like this would be an important scene to mention. That even as human-raised as Jesus was, he still turned to the side of light.
I don't know. Maybe it would make more sense to me if I actually read the full biblical scripture regarding this moment. *shrugs*

Sounds like my ideal work schedule. Open up around 9 or 10 AM (8 AM, if I'm feeling like) and then close whenever I want. Maybe I'll close early, maybe I'll stay open late. But don't expect me to be open on specific days. xd
Sidenote: Aziraphale has nice handwriting.

People really need to work on their radio skills. Some days people get back to me right away. Other times I just get silence, hoping someone has heard it and will fulfill the request I've relayed. stressed Today has been mostly the latter.

Oh, I see how it is. You'll respond to her radio call of sarcasm... but you won't say word to me. No. No, that's fine. Don't mind me. I'll just take the brunt of residents' frustration when they're having to wait for something to be done.

Going to do some research on how to give cats their meds because Austin's been stubborn lately. She either pushes it away when I try to put it among her dry food or just spits it out when I try initially giving her it directly. Make it so it's less of a traumatic occasion for her than it needs to be. sweatdrop
