Roveth had continued to look on Calmly at the two swordsmen, showing no signs of looking hostile, but he did have faint traces of amusement when Shiro squawked in indignation "Oi! that was uncalled for Leon!" he then crossed his arms and huffed while looking to the side as the dark half just shook his head chuckling at that jab "don't let him get you riled up Hikari-o-mine, i'm certain with Merlin's help you can light his hair on fire later for making fun of your lack of magic capabilities." of course, Shiro turned and gave Roveth a dirty look "tempting though it would be to agree with you, do you have to make a jab too?" Roveth smirked a bit, and shrugged lightly "i have my own branch of magical capabilities that i'm proficient in." he said with a stark fact of truth while Shrio just whined a bit sounding like 'everyone's picking on meeee~' while hanging his head down. Shiroi Senko just gave off a wark and nuzzled into Shiro, who reacted by gently stroking the chocobo's feathers and trying to cheer himself back up. yep, definitely more emotional than Roveth, who seemed to be well in control of himself, much like how Wolfwood is despite being a Heartless General.


meanwhile, in another part of the city, a corridor of Darkness began to open slowly, at first unstable, but once it became enough for a person to walk through, someone did.. he had combed and pulled back blondish hair, palid white with red accented makeup that brought out the bright green eyesof the... weirdly dressed individual, but he seemed to be smirking.... like an Evil clown about to murder someone. "Mwee Hee Hee Hee... another world...? what fun.. i wonder what fun things i can work to torment or destroy today...?" he said to himself, before floating up a bit and crossing his legs over each other smirking a bit and began floating about using magic to look for entertainment for the moment.

Shiro and roveth had straightened up when they felt it as well, though Shiro had to suppress a shudder that was literally trying to make his spine vibrate "... oh man... whatever or whoever is giving off that aura.. it has not a shred of sanity to it." Shiro said, looking quite haunted at feeling it, while Roveth frowned a bit lightly, before looking to Crystal with a serious gaze "let's, it imght be safer at this Merlin's place for Shiro, given how sensitive he is to darkness right now." he said, both Roveth and Shiroi Senko had worked to started to steer Shiro away from the direction he was facing that held that awful insane darkness in the air, though Roveth seemed tempted to go fight this person himself, he knew he himself wasn't skilled enough at his own Shadow Magic just yet.


meanwhile, the evil clown had idly looked towards the direction that Cloud and Squall were coming from, smiling a bit lightly "oh.. what's this, more foolish people drunk on the nieceties of light? oh ho... no, one of them's been stained with Darkness too... still, they should know better than to just charge in.." he said with his grin widening to a sickening 'kill you' smile, before starting to wave his arms and working his magic, starting to form a landmine trap or three around him in the form of one of his more potent spells, before letting off his infamous cackle "Mwee Hee Hee Hee Hee! come, little flies of the light, i will show you your existance is meaningless and should be destroyed, sent to non-existance where it belongs like my world! MWEE HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE!"

the clown merely gave a dismissive wave and that mocking yet sickening grin on his face as he smiled " yes yes all well and dandy 'hero' but here's the thing... i'm merely looking for entertainment not for world destruction... yet." he said while stepping back and just as the two would step where the clown used to be "another thing you saps that call yourselves heroes have in common... you're all so predictable its boring!!" he said with a cackle before snapping his fingers... and igniting the spell array underneath Cloud and Squall's feet.. before a massive multi-blast upheaval of magic would roar up around them in an attempt to destroy them mercilessly, especially the fact the magic seemed to be raw destructive power, it'd tear through any hastily made up defenses with ease. (typically this spell can't be mitigated damage wise.. so it WILL hurt.)

Kefka had took some damage from the quick shots, but he did bring up a barrier to block Cloud's blade with a small wince, before using his free hand to form a large ball of gravity and grinned "Fall." he said with his sickening sweet smile, before swinging his hand around to try and slam the gravity ball into Cloud's gut, while at the same time readying to use the barrier to push Cloud away once the ball hit the so called hero.

Kefka of course brought back his barrier to at least deflect the shots with an annoyed 'tch' in his voice, but when Cloud once more charged at him in close combat Kefka looked like he had enough "i think its time to hear you fools scream... Chain Thundaga!" he shouted, as LARGE amounts of lightning began striking the area around Kefka haphazardly, aiming for Cloud, Squall, and everyone innocent in the area, but it was a smoke cover so to speak as Kefka's visage darkened and tanned, wings sprouting from his back as he clenched his fist "to make me use this... heheheh... i hope you two are ready to die a cursed painful death... WINGS OF RUIN!" he called out, before engulfing the area for a good large dome of dark energy which would begin to assail both Cloud and Squall with all kinds of curses, weakness, misfortune, fatigue, being only a few of the many as Kefka laughed in the epicenter of it all "MWEE HEE HEE HEE HEE! TASTE THE MIGHT OF TRUE MAGIC, MORTALS!!!" of course, we all knew Kefka was a bit unhinged, but either way, the dome of darkness could be felt -all- around town all the same.


Shiro and Roveth meanwhile both winced as the feelings of darkness slammed into them, Roveth moreso because his body was too slow in actually breaking down the darkness, while Shiro collapsed to the ground clutching his chest in a hug as he hissed in both burning pain and shivering in deep fear of whatever was casting that kind of powerful magic.

the clown had been cackling still when he saw the downed forms of Cloud and Squall, though he could tell the two of them weren't dead as he liked, he could care less at the moment as he turned around to go find some more entertainment when he came face to face with Crystal, and getting lambasted by Cactaur's Thousand needles, sending him flying back into a wall with a loud yelp, before getting enveloped in smoke, it took a few moments, but the clown did appear from the cloud, looking dreadfully serious and with a more snarling visage despite his ripped and torn clothes"really now, is it too much to ask to have to not remake my clothes -every time- someone has to try and attack me?!?!" he said, looking hopping mad this time as he noticed Roveth and Shiro coming up as well flanking behind Crystal, while he seemed more content in looking at both the keyblades Crystal wielded, and Shiro in particular "well now... those look like interesting weapons... if a little unwieldy compared to that chakram that petty thief used on my world." he stood up straighter, smiling "and a whole split into halves, with the original self having a hole... hmmm... this gives me an idea... for entertainment!" he said, now regaining his slasher style smile.

Shiro of course shivered a bit and slightly moved behind Roveth, who had summoned Lockdown into hand and took up a defensive position with a frown. "this guy..." he muttered, clearly looking both irritated.. and afraid, something that would -rarely- happen to Roveth, he was actually feeling fear against this clown "who the hell are you anyway!?!" he called out to the clown, frowning a bit lightly.

said clown had glanced over to Roveth, before giving off a small cackle "Mwee hee hee hee~! so someone finally has enough manners to ask who i am? how wonderous!" he then mockingly bowed to the three "the name is Kefka Palazzo, a man of many talents, and capable of much more simply because i'm not blinded by the so called 'gentle light' you heroes spit out and 'power of friendship' and all that.. Peh!" he spat off to the side "ugh.. just mentioning those kinds of things leave a bad taste in my mouth."

Kefka seemed to frown when he saw the two sword for brains get back up, and seeing the five of them plan just made him float up into the air a bit and sit onto his legs crossing them a bit and leaning off to the side and placing his head onto a fist, looking quite... miffed, it seemed at their plotting. Roveth meanwhile looked over the floating man with narrowed eyes as he switched Lockdown to his right hand as he reached back into his card deck thinking a moment when Shiro had started shaking a bit, but with his eyes shadowed he moved to the side and started walking forward, a pulse beating irregular to his own heart as light started to shine along his left hand, forming into an arcane array that begun glowing a deep purple and slowly sparking. his tone oddly sounded duality of sorts, as if being guided "I, who stand in the full light of the Heavens... Command thee, who opens the Gates of Hell..." Kefka had sat up a bit, lookign interested, as this was nothing like the chants of magic back on his old world "what in the world..?" the clouds above Kefka swirled, starting to gather as multiple arcane arrays formed above the clown being targeted "now this.. this is interesting!" he said, grinning even more when looking up just as Shiro called out "Come forth, Divine Lightning! INDIGNATION!!!!" before he swung his hand down, and just as he did, a MASSIVE bolt of purple white lightning struck the area where kefka stood, dealing quite a good bit of electrocution to the clown as he looked sufficiently X-rayed out cartoonishly, before the explosion occured.

Kefka, within the dust, had panted a bit, he had used quite a bit of magic power to stem off most of the damage.. but either way... ~that boy... yes.. because he has a hole forever eating away.. to command such strong lightning..? hee.. hee hee... mwee hee hee hee! why not? i have no use for those old relics that helped me ascend to godhood and their creations... let's see how he handles their power?~ when the dust settled to show a very.. serious looking Kefka, it set even Roveth on guard immediately before the clown spoke up "i wonder... maybe it was destiny, that fickle woman, that brought me here..." he mused to himself, before deftly disappearing, and reappearing next to the coming out of trance Shiro as he shook his head "what the..?" he then looked to the side and saw Kefka's smirking face "Gack!?!" he said, before he could jump back and call forth one of his own summons, Kefka snatched him up by his shirt collar and smiled a bit lightly "excuse me for a bit folks, i need to borrow this one." with that, Kefka would deftly teleport away from the scene, with Shiro going with him.

Roveth of course jumped forward to try and grab at Shiro, but had missed at the last second causing him to eat dirt while the spreading out cackle of the clown could be heard fading away as he slammed his fist to the ground "Damnit! if only i had thought sooner on something to counter that jerk..!"

Kefka meanwhile appeared once more, this time suppressing his own dark aura for the moment so as to hide himself, where they had appeared was actually the old 'Castle' of 'Hollow Bastion'. in fact, right in the very same area where Sora and Riku fought near the heart of Hollow Bastion for who would have control over that very keyhole, all the machines dormant, but the clown had no need for those, as just about when Shiro was going to summon his own keyblade, the clown succintly used his free hand to Chop shiro's neck, and knock him out, before gaining his slasher smile once more "this place shall do perfectly to work unimpeded without needing to set up defenses.. it has its own defenses and denziens that will keep thsoe pesky brats busy. now then..." he would set Shiro up onto a quickly forming altar, and began pulling out crystals from his pockets, smirking a bit lightly as they faintly pulsed with remnants of power "good thing i managed to 'liberate' you from your goody two shoes partners in my world.. otherwise you'd have been destroyed along with that world.. now... let's get to work shall we? mwee hee hee hee hee..." and with that, the cackle echoed through the castle as he leaned over and begun to work on Shiro.
