Hello.
I'm Candie, a new guild member here. I've been on Gaia since 2004, even though this account isn't very old. I've had a few in the past.
Anyway, I'm in my twenties and my sexuality is very fluid. I've gone through a few stages of experiencing shifts in my orientation over some years. For the past few years, I have been polysexual and demisexual, though there is a lot of details in between, haha. As for my gender, I am cisgendered. Sort of. emotion_awesome
As far as likes, well... I haven't been a part of the anime community for some years, but watching anime is still fun for me (though I rarely, if any, on my own). I am an introvert—I love spending time on my own, and when I am with people, I prefer to be around close friends. A good time for me is either listening to music while doing some reading, or watching a movie with a friend or two.
I love to read, though I don't read often enough. I enjoy reading classic literature, sci-fi, fantasy, fiction, short stories, and flash fiction. I'm not much of a writer, but I aspire to write well (perhaps even my own novel one day, or collection of flash stories!). I like different kinds of movies, but I rarely turn on the TV. The only TV shows I bother to catch up on (when I remember to) are Elementary, The Mentalist, and that new show, Zero Hour. My past favorite shows are Lie to Me, Wildfred (US version), Sherlock, and that's really it. I may have forgotten one....
My favorite music types are too much to list, haha. But needless to say, I love music, and a good number of genres. Not all genres, but yeah. I also like console games, usually for the PC right now because I don't own anything else. Some all-time favorite games include Myst franchise, Mass Effect franchise, Sims franchise, FF franchise, Fatal Frame II, Okami, and some others.

I went from thinking I was trans, to bi trans, to just bi crossdresser, to realising im just gay and occasionally a crossdresser, and I have kinda an interesting history of how all that came to be.
sparing a few details, I'll post it here in a spoiler to keep from page stretching
When I was little my mom left a skirt lying around that she was gonna donate, being 7 and bored, I tried it on, ever since then I have been hooked on wearing skirt's.
Around the time I hit 13/14 i was thinking, why do I like wearing girls clothes, maybe I wanna be a girl, so I ended up thinking I trans.
I started looking up trans story's, and little did I know the ones were 2 guys were involved got me just as interested as the normal ones witch made me think I'm bi.
About when I hit 18 I started realizing I didn't wanna be a girl, i just realized I'm a crossdresser with a half girly half normal guy personality and just wanted to be my self and not have to hide it.
About 6 months ago i was reading my trans story's and one in-particular got me thinking, it was a syfy story about a guy who caught a disease that made him become a girl, as he changed he tried to stay with his girlfriend at the time but his brain no longer wanted to be with his girlfriend, he wanted to feel what it was like to be with a male instead. that got me thinking about how getting intimate works, and I realized the idea of being physically intimate with a girl just kinda, grossed me out, not that I hate girls, I get along with them much better as friends. It was at that moment I finally realized, I'm not bi, trans, what ever, I'm just gay and occasionally a crossdresser.
Just a heads up, I'm in the closet about the fact I'm gay, or any part of my personality that is girly, I don't even admit to the fact I like pop music cause I'm so in the closet, and because of that I have pretty bad depression, but dont worry, im not suicidal or anything, im against the idea of killing my self.
