Kingdom Hearts - Blades of Three Realms

Roveth had been listening in on the story ever since the interrogation started, and was honestly surprised Crystal had managed to hide this kind of thing for so long from Shiro, it almost -immediately- wanted to make him warn Shiro to not trust Crystal, but then again, with how many times she's pulled shiro's a** out of danger, it was quite clear despite having certain issues about her past... "hmmm... Shiro, and myself, would say quite differently to you being a coward.. if you were a true coward you wouldn't have dove into the realm of darkness to pry Shiro from Xehanort's old decrpit hands. much less any of the other things you've managed to save Shiro from danger wise." he then tilted his head a bit to think on his words a moment, he wasn't used to the touchy feely thing, as he was an embodiment of shadows thank you. "truth is, is everyone has a side of themselves, a past they cannot forget, a time when they showed weakness, or even a time of weakness... these all still make up you..." Roveth then smirked "now cheer up, Ojou-sama... it's unbecoming of a princess to be so glum and moody." he quipped out, knowing full well it might get him blasted for it, but he was the sarcastic and snarky half of Shiro, so of course he got to take a bit of teasing too, can't let Riku have all the fun.

Axel just chose to snicker quietly at Roveth's quip on Crystal's status, but shook his head, and decided to leave things be, and instead just snuck up before wrapping his arms around Roxas and Xion's neck in amusement "buck up kiddo's, i think it doesn't need to be said that laughter and joy is the best medicine of all, got it memorized?" he said with a cheesy smile on his face, just being typical Axel of course. "anyway, i heard arguing between a loudmouthed bird and a certain trouble magnet upstairs so i think Shiro's awake again."

"Don't worry, Axel, we won't forget that," Xion answered while smiling. The situation was complicated, but at least here they all had each other to lean on.

"Anyway, I guess we should probably give them some room so Crystal can fill Shiro in on this as well," noted Roxas. "So, do you think maybe we should get some ice cream while we wait?"

"That sounds great!" Xion instantly agreed.

Axel chuckled a bit, lightly rubbing his head "good idea, though i kinda committed ice cream abuse.. when i heard from Riku about Xion i kinda dropped a couple of bars for me and roxas back at twilight town." he said with a nervous chuckle "but let's go get some, sounds like a good treat to reward us being together again!" he said, leading the two out of the tavern to head for where uncle Scrooge sold Sea-Salt Ice Cream.

Roveth meanwhile followed crystal, and kept silent as she got Shiro up to date, who was currently contemplating things as she mentioned them, so on, before he tilted his head in idly thought "hmm.. i think that after hearing all this.. nothing really changes between us Crystal." he said with an easy-going smile as he laid there trapped in bed by chocobo "i'm stil lfriends with you, so troubled past or not means no difference to me, just means we must work harder to make good memories for the future ne?" of course the dark half snorted with amusement "leave it to my Baka light to not mind at all about your past." he pointed out, still holding onto ,and eating the muffin thrown at him for the ojou-sama comment, though he did expect a Holy to the face for it didn't mean it wouldn't have been worth it, it totally would have. "still.. i think a couple of days and Shiro should be fine enough to probably walk about again. and don't glare at me like that Aibou, you're not moving from that bed." he said plaintively, with Shiroi Senko warking in agreement and Shiro glaring at the two "Traitors..."

Shiro just blushed and scratched his cheek a bit "eh... no problem Crystal, now go have some fun with the others, don't let me be the reason you stay cooped up all day. that goes for you too Roveth if nothing else keep an eye on Axel to make sure he doesn't tease Roxas too much about that whole giggle-fest he probably walked in on with Crystal." he said, with Roveth chuckling a bit lightly "Hai hai, you get some rest Baka hikari and we'll let you rest... with Shiroi Senko still on top of you. " he said as he started to leave, with Shiro calling out "Traitor! get back here so i can beat you with a pillow!"

Roxas and Xion had left with Axel to head for Uncle Scrooge's ice cream shop as was easily predictable. By the time they arrived Crystal was already on her way there and eventually came to perch atop a nearby street sign from which she dismounted into a shoulder roll before springing back onto her feet on the ground.

"Talk about a fast recovery," Roxas watched with some amusement as Crystal performed her completely unnecessary acrobatics. "You really must be feeling better."

"Well, it's still too soon to tell, but I think maybe now my heart is finally free to move on," Crystal responded although it was really a bit difficult to really explain how she was feeling. "I want to see things through and see where this new path might lead me. Anyway, that's enough philosophizing. If I'm not mistaken we're here for sea salt ice cream!"

"So they got you hooked on it too, huh?" Xion sounded amused.

"Well, with my sweet-tooth I didn't exactly make it difficult for them," Crystal grinned. "Besides, it's delicious and it's a great way to cool off after a rough day. But then, after that, I think we need to take you out shopping for some new clothes. The Organization coat is stylish and all, but it might send the wrong message to a certain crowd and you definitely need something a bit more casual."

"Huh, now why didn't we think of that?" Roxas glanced over at Axel.

Roveth had got off his leaning against the nearby wall, having accompanied Crystal to find Xion Roxas and Axel "probably because you and flame-brain had ice-cream on your minds." he said in a perfect quip, while Axel eyed Roveth with an eyebrow raised "well, maybe, but also because i'm a guy, shopping would never cross my mind unless its for things i need." he shrugged, looking to himself a bit, before looking to Roxas "maybe i should get a set of unofficial clothes, yanno, so i can be with everyone without immediately pointing out i'm from the organization when i'm not on business." Roveth chuckled a bit, smirking "this should highly be amusing too, given i know who the girls would look for to ask opinions of." Axel blinked, before grinning a bit looking to the dual-wielding nobody "ohhh yes... that does sound like an entertaining thought." oh dear... looks like Roveth and Axel are -clearly- in the mood to tease poor Roxas to death today.

Roxas was pretty sure he didn't like how Axel was grinning at him. "Eh, why me?" It wasn't like he had even the slightest bit of sense about fashion. And why did Roveth say 'girls' as in plural. Weren't they just going to be shopping around for some casual clothes for Xion?

Teasing aside, Crystal knew a bit about what Roveth was really getting at. It wouldn't be much fun for Xion to be getting a makeover alone so Crystal was going to have to step it up and play along, even if that meant being stuffed into a frilly outfit or two. "Alright, I get it," Crystal nodded. "Count me in for today, but don't expect me to make a habit of this." She glanced between Axel and Roveth a bit pointedly. "But that means you guys are on paparazzi detail. It's time to start making some precious new memories." She then draped Xion in one of her patented one-armed hugs. "Isn't that right, Xion?"

"Right," Xion quickly agreed. She could just tell that Axel and Roveth were up to something, but it was nice to see that Crystal was at least being good humored about it. "It sounds like fun."

"So now we're shopping for both of you?" Roxas blinked in confusion. "What exactly is the point of that?"

"You'll see once we get started," Crystal assured him. "And don't worry boys," she turned directly on Axel and Roveth at this next statement. "I can cover my own expenses for you two geniuses."

Roveth rolled his eyes while looking over to Crystal with amusement "of course, Ojou-sama." he said with -clear- intentions of using that nickname when being ordered around and not in serious battle. either way he'd turn back to roxas as Crystal mentioned the funding part and rolled his eyes "that's fine and Dandy Crystal, but i'm calling not-it on being Bag-boy." he said, causing Axel who had been watching Roxas more with amusement at his denseness before noticing "wait what? Paparazzi detail's fine but i am -NOT- becoming a bag-boy for a girl's shopping spree, it's scarier than making them mad, got it memorized?" he said while smirking "Roxas, the reason why you, is because the value your opinion moreso than myself or Roveth, definitely moreso than Roveth since he seems to keep egging Crystal on with his comments." he said, while Roveth looked back over to the firebug "at least my hair doesn't look like it's always on fire and in need of constantly having some old lady throwing buckets of water at me to put it out." Axel twitched an eyebrow at the dark-half.

Roveth's comment wouldn't go unnoticed and as he started running his mouth at Axel would find himself subjected to a sudden lightning strike as Crystal casually cast Thundaga on him.

"Why Roveth, you make it sound like I'm positively normal when it comes to this sort of shopping trip," Crystal rolled her eyes at him. "Bloody hell, I'm not that girly. I'm also certainly not a slave driver and besides, most shops nowadays deliver so we won't need a bag-boy to carry things. Now stop trying to scare Roxas."

Roxas knew he was being teased, but the way Roveth and Axel were being so dramatic about the whole thing was still making him uncomfortable. "I suppose that's fine, but you do realize I don't know the first thing about fashion, right?"

"Relax, it's simple. All you have to do is be honest and let us know what you think," Crystal informed him. "Don't pretend to like everything because Axel and Roveth will definitely notice if the colors clash or something doesn't seem to match. And you really don't have to worry when I freak out at them for tricking me into a skirt or a dress."

"Just be yourself Roxas and everything will turn out fine," Xion assured him.

"Sure, I think I can handle that much," Roxas heaved a sigh of relief. Seriously, why were Axel and Roveth trying to get him so worked up when the girls were obviously trying to be nice about it?

So, once they all had their yummy sea salt ice cream it would be time to set out to the clothing stores to see what they could find.

Roveth of course took the thundaga like a man (or like Ash.) and lit up like a christmas tree for a few moments before comically spitting out soot, of course, he'd shake himself back to normal and a quick messing of his hair later was back to normal, showing no signs of the thundaga hurting and all (though inside he was cursing cause it did HURT LIKE HELL! he's just -very- good at hiding the pain.) of course he did pout when Crystal sapped most of the fun out of his teasing Roxas, thankfully Axel seemed unphased about the lack of entertainment, as if fully expecting there to be more entertainment to be had in general, so the two would follow the girls and roxas, of course with axel -clearly- going into a nearby store to buy a couple of cameras, one for himself and Roveth, who were -gladly- going to take blackmail pictures for use on Roxas at the least. granted, Roveth would also get payback for the thundaga, but he will wait until the time was right, maybe ask Xion to help him, given he did know crystal's clothing habits, and knew -exactly- how to cause discomfort.

So began the zany antics of clothes shopping in Radiant Garden. There was a great deal of variety to be seen--boyish, girly, vibrant, reserved--as different styles and color palettes were being tested to see what Xion liked best. This became exacerbated somewhat when Yuffie decided to show up wanting to help and had both Crystal and Xion dressed in ninja attire and forced the two girls to strike some sexy battle poses with her. That definitely added some color to the situation as it became rather difficult for Roxas to maintain a straight face. Yuffie got bored eventually and left to find someone else to bother while Crystal and Xion returned to trying on other types of outfits.

At times there would be panicked squeals over a skirt or dress being way too short. At least once there was an outfit too loose and baggy causing Xion to make an alarmed "Eep!" before hastily drawing the curtain to find something else to try on in the changing room. Crystal had a little more strategy behind her outfit selections, avoiding most things pink or frilly, but still occasionally trying on a skirt or dress that seemed comfortable without being too extreme for her tastes. Roxas found the whole routine to be strangely fascinating, certainly very different from the activities he had undertaken while with the Organization and also not at all what he would have expected from how Axel and Roveth had acted at the start. But then, there really hadn't been much in the way of feminine influence in the Organization, what with Xion and Larxene having been the only female members. Thinking on it now, Roxas was glad to know Xion had managed to meet someone who could really act as a positive role model in that department. Crystal wasn't a real girly girl by any means, but she was certainly a much better influence in this regard than him or Axel could have ever hoped to be.

And there was no denying that it was kinda cute to watch. Both girls were pretty awkward about the whole thing and they were playing off each other in ways that only heightened the adorability factor while at the same time they both seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was a lot of blushing and flailing, sure, but there was also a lot of smiling and laughter involved. And eventually they would have settled on a few outfits they were satisfied with, enough so that Crystal actually changed into one of her new outfits as well instead of returning to what she had been wearing at the start, although she would probably come to regret that decision once she realized how well it actually matched up with Roxas and Xion. That totally wasn't her intention. It was just something comfortable that she thought looked cool. Ah well, too late to back down now.

Axel of course was taking pictures of the moments, and of coruse making sure to catch ones that -definitely- would embarrass both of them, Roveth helping of course while also having strategically pointed out some of the flailing type ones for them without their realizing it by strategically placing them and all with a bit of shadow magic, as well as getting a kick out of Yuffie joining in on the mess, which definitely left a good laugh or two between the both of them. of course, when it came time for them to pick a new outfit to wear, Roveth instantly started snickering, realizing the implications of teasing almost immediately, as Axel just grinned impishly "Sooo... looks like Roxas has a few admierers, if they're out to copycat him." he said to roveth, while the dark half grinned "are we sure they're not fangirls in disguise? cause that kind of synchronocity is not something you see every day~" he said in a quip of his own, clearly aimed at the three of them with definite amusement.
