That's very interesting to read about. It makes me wonder what the real reasoning behind the tattoos were. I know that some tribes use tattoos as symbols to represent life events or special occasions that make them who they are. I wonder if this applies the same to these old folks with their tattoos. Or is there something more to these tattoos that have nothing to do with tribal practices or mythical legends? Hmm... intriguing.
