Kingdom Hearts - Blades of Three Realms

Shiro shrugged, lightly cracking his neck a bit with a small flinch then a sigh of relief "honestly, i only started upping myself when Cloud started upping the difficultybesides, the spar actually helped get the burning feeling i've had in my body down to much more manageable levels." he said, while shaking his head a bit with a sigh "and technically, i'll go out and say i'm the childish one because i rose to Cloud's challenge." he said finally and started heading inside, Roveth following so he could handle healing up Shiro's arm, given he did notice the twitching of it and all.

Axel of course continued marching the three inside "we can talk about things in the morning Roxas." he said calmly, before dropping the kids off at the bathroom, well two of them, the third (Roxas) he'd pick up by the shirt and march him into the nearby room he was calling for himself and Roxas, before setting the boy down and taking a seat on the bed "make it quick Roxas, i only said that to throw those two off, and because i have something to tell you that might not be able to wait until morning as it is."

The two girls would disappear into said bathroom to get cleaned up, with Crystal planning to have a good long soak while she meditated on things in general to clear her mind a little more before she would consider going to sleep.


Roxas struggled the whole way until he was finally back on his own two feet. "I did wonder what all that was about. Anyway, what I need to tell you is that Riku is now convinced that Crystal's heart of pure light could be compatible with the seven Princess of Heart and that raises some concerns about Xehanort finding out because of how often and how close Crystal and Shiro have gotten to the darkness. He thinks Crystal might need protecting and he kinda asked me to be the one to do it... well, he didn't really ask, more like ordered me into it, but coming from Riku that's pretty much the same thing. I'll admit, that bothered me at first... but now that I've spent some more time with her, I kinda want to do it anyway. Weird, huh? So, what's going on with you?"

Axel hummed a bit at the thought of Xehanort getting his hands on Crystal, and mentally shuddered "actually inclined to agree with you there Roxas." he said a bit, while sighing "personally, i'm torn between up and leaving everyone behind to go rescue Sai'x from Xehanort and taking Demyx with me, or working to convince Demyx to join our little group." he said rubbing the back of his neck "thing is, we know Demyx, he is even more of a lazy bum than Leon is, and says he hates fighting, but i know potential when i see it, he's just hiding it with his laid back attitude, something we can't afford to have when dealing with that old codger and any of his allies."

"Does that mean you've actually found out where Sai'x is?" Roxas looked thoughtful. Sure, he had given Sai'x a good pounding when he had deserted the Organization, but that was out of necessity more than anything, and Roxas knew that him and Axel had been close. Crystal was right. The way Xehanort seemed to believe that he was entitled to manipulate people's hearts was truly despicable. The thought that he himself would have become one of Xehanort's chosen vessel made Roxas feel a bit sick to his stomach as he shuddered. "We definitely have to get him back."

He perked up a bit thinking about what they might do with Demyx. "Well, he's lazy, but he's pretty good at gathering intel. People tend to let their guard down around him. Demyx might not like to fight, but he could still probably help us out in other ways with the skills he has."

Axel sighed, rubbing his head "i have a pretty good idea where he is, unfortunately, i'm not too confident on my chances even with Demyx, and you're not coming with me on this suicide mission if i do it." he said, sighing as he shook his head "as for Demyx, he says he sucks at fighting but that's not the case, he just hasn't found his perfect role, and i think i know how, even using his favorite pastime with Arpeggio." he said while chuckling a bit "but even if i had him and went all out.. i probably don't hold a candle against Xehanort huh?"

Roveth meanwhile had hummed in thought while testing Shiro's arm a bit after the healing "looks like it'll be sore until the morning so take it easy on the arm, otherwise the rest of you is pretty well off. i take it you used Reinforcement to bolster against Cloud's attacks?" Shiro nodded lightly with a hum "Max reinforcement, yeah, it's become a second instinct now." Roveth nodded lightly "that'll come in handy against the stronger heartless and nobodies, so that's good... anyway, get some sleep tonight, i think we might have potential destination tomorrow." Shiro blinked, tilting his head a bit "what about magic training?" Roveth shook his head "not after the stress of these past few days. we might come back to get the magic training done later, but for now rest up, and let that arm relax tonight okay?" Shiro nodded, waving off roveth with his right arm "hai hai, you get some sleep too." Roveth chuckled, and headed out, though he would get some sleep, he wouldn't stay in the tavern, too many people and all and probably not enough beds, so he'll spare them the favor and head off to go sleep on the roof instead.

"Why not?" Roxas gave Axel a hard scowl when he said he wouldn't be taking Roxas with him. "You can't just ask Demyx to go along with you and leave the rest of us behind. We just got Xion back. Do you really want to scare her like that? And you're forgetting we have a lot of friends now who'd be more than willing to help us with retrieving Sai'x if you'd just ask them. You don't have to do this all on your own!"

Axel shook his head, chuckling a bit "to watch little roxas grow up..." he said a bit wistfully, before looking hard at Roxas "the reason you'd not be coming with me is because i agree with what Riku said, we need all hands on deck as best as possible to keep an eye on Crystal and you'd be the best man for the Job, as Roveth would be bailing Shiro out if he could, Shiro would probably be neck deep in trouble too thus also someone to worry about, Riku is workign with Sora more than likely, and as much as i want to stay and catch up, i -do- have to at least try and Convince Demyx to even help us, even if i don't plan on chasing after Sai'x immediately." he sighed lightly "if i do leave before you wake up i'll be sure to leave a note to say what my decision is on Sai'x, personally i'd rather not leave tha b*****d in Xehanorts clutches, but if he's already been possessed.. it might be a clost cause for now and i'd need to come back with demyx anyway." he smirked lightly "so come on, let's get some sleep.

"Fine, but promise me whatever you decide to do, you'll at least be careful," Roxas finally conceded, removing his damp clothing to hang it up to dry overnight before climbing onto the bed himself. "I know you can be even more reckless than I am. But try to tone it back, okay?"

Not long after Roxas would indeed drift off to sleep. He was pretty worn out from the events of the day in general, not to mention that long workout at the fountain and waterfall plaza. Moving around like that under normal conditions would have been one thing, but they were fighting at top speed while being weighed down by their soaking wet clothing. But then the point was probably to make it more challenging.

"Goodnight Axel," would be heard mumbled as Roxas finally fell asleep for the night.

Axel would just smile, and ruffle Roxas's hair a bit gently, before laying down and going to sleep to, maybe his dreams will have his answers to his own thoughts...

the next morning axel would be the first up, he had pondered over his dreams and all, before starting to write a quick note for Roxas, that he was going to get Demyx to join them instead of going after Sai'x, and headed off downstairs to eat, once he got his quick breakfast he'd head off to the nearby alleyway and disappearing into a corridor of Darkness back to his apartment back at Twilight Town, figuring that's where the Lazy bum was currently.

Shiro and Roveth were the next up, Roveth coming in from the outside, and shiro walking downstairs to get some food ,yawning al lthe same for both of them, before they looked at each other, and smiled a bit, before at least sitting down to enjoy food.  

[[XIII] Roxas]

Roxas woke up a little while after the others, finding Axel's note and giving off a relieved sigh that his friend was being sensible about the Sai'x situation. He slid off the bed and got himself dressed before leaving the room to head down to the tavern for some breakfast finding the rest of the group already there. Roxas smiled when he saw the girls, not really thinking too much on it, just really glad to see that everything from the previous day wasn't just some crazy dream. Xion was still here.

"Axel will be back later," Roxas decided he should fill everybody else in. "He's gone back to Twilight Town to try to recruit Demyx to join us."

"Knowing Demyx, convincing him might take awhile," observed Xion. "But it will be nice to see him again."

"But we're still going to Neverland, right?" Roxas continued. "That's what we all decided."

"That's the plan," Crystal agreed. "We won't have the protection of Cid's security system, but the Heartless in Neverland aren't much of a threat so it should still be fine. Shiro is still recovering so we don't want to go anywhere too intense quite yet. And who can complain about being able to fly?"

Roveth and Shiro chuckled a bit, while the light half of the duo just smiled a bit "been a while since i've took a trip to Neverland.. guess it might be more needed than i thought, training nonwithstanding at least." Roveth snorted a bit lightly and crossed his arms " no training for you unless you plan to try and do that chained to my back and unable to move an inch." Shiro sweatdropped and shook his head "forget i said anything." he said, before noticing a lack of axel around, and raised an eyebrow "so where's ol' firebug anyway?"  

[[XIII] Roxas]

"Axel left already," Roxas replied. "He must have gotten up before everybody so he wouldn't make a scene out of it."

"Well, if we are going to a world with Heartless, I'm going to need a weapon," noted Xion.

"Can't you still use the Keyblade?" Roxas wondered.

"Even if I can, I don't really think it's a good idea," Xion answered looking a bit nervous. "I don't want to risk using the Keyblade again if it might end up hurting you."

"I really don't think there's any chance that will happen again," Roxas protested. "We're different now. The circumstances are different. I think it will probably be fine."

"Still, I'm not sure I'm ready to take that chance," Xion persisted.

"Then I guess it can't be helped," Crystal nodded. "We'll just have to find you a suitable alternative... probably some type of sword since that's pretty similar to the style of fighting you already know. It won't be as effective at defeating Heartless, but at least you won't be totally defenseless."

With that in mind the group would stop off at the weapon shop after leaving the tavern to continue on to the next world. Taking advantage of Crystal's exorbitant funds they would be able to afford the highest rank sword available without any difficulty.

*~Neverland~*

The group would bypass London entirely to arrive at the island proper without any further delay. To start they would arrive on land, mainly for the benefit of Shiroi Senko who was not normally adept at flying. And, of course, they would likely have to track down Tinkerbell to procure some of that much needed fairy dust to get the Chocobo airborne. And possibly for Roveth too since this was likely his first visit to Neverland as well.

Crystal, Roxas, and Xion would begin cartwheeling around in midair while remaining relatively near to the ground.

"I think out of all the worlds, this is probably one of my favorites," Roxas levitated skillfully all the while with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Mine too," Xion agreed. "That's probably why Axel recommended we come here."

"It's not surprising considering this place is basically everyone's childhood dream come to life," Crystal pointed out. She was very deliberately floating upside down.
