"Uh... right," Tagiru obediently loaded Gumdramon back into his Xros Loader with a mild sweatdrop. Most of the rest of what Shiro had to say after that was completely lost on him after Tagiru heard the name Sesshoumaru.

"Wait, you don't mean this is Crystal-san's older brother Sesshoumaru, do you?!" Tagiru stood there gaping at the aforementioned Daiyoukai. Of course, it also made him think that he really wasn't in the digital world after all given that he finally realized that somehow he had arrived in the Feudal era. Of course, with Shiro there, Tagiru's earlier fear of the Daiyoukai and the accompanying wolf youkai had been almost completely forgotten. "This is so cool! I actually traveled backwards in time!"

Kouga had to sweatdrop as he glanced vaguely at Shiro. "Sure is an energetic brat, isn't he? But what I don't get is how you managed to find another hanyou in the modern era when there are barely any youkai."

"Huh?" Tagiru blinked and pointed at himself. "Wait, are you guys talking about me? I'm no hanyou, just a regular human kid."

"That hairstyle sure doesn't look regular for a human," Kouga snorted back at him. He looked back to Shiro. "You should definitely escort this kid out of the forest before the little idiot gets himself killed. As for why I'm in the neighborhood, I was just going for a run. I didn't realize I was in this forest until I stopped to check on the kid after he crashed into me. Perhaps I should stop by the village myself to pay a visit to Kagome-chan."

*~*~*~*~*

Meanwhile, back in the village, Crystal and Taiki were led to a hut that had been built sometime after Naraku's defeat to house Miroku and Sango when they decided to settle down in the village. When Kagome had come back to remain in the Feudal era with Inuyasha, the two of them had essentially moved in with their old friends as roommates, although as the latter had mentioned, Inuyasha still snuck out at night to get away from all the noise. Once they got there Crystal unloaded the rest of the stuff she had brought for them from the modern era including fresh first aid supplies and plenty of snacks like potato chips.

Shippo unloaded all the candy he had stuffed into his pockets in one corner, returning it all to normal size before diving in again.

"I guess that covers everything," Crystal concluded.

"It's a shame you can't visit more often," noted Kagome.

"Yeah, well, if I want to keep up the pretense of being an ordinary junior high school student, it helps to actually show up for class," Crystal responded.

"Although the pretense doesn't really cover the fact that you arrive to class ten minutes early everyday and start on your homework before you leave," noted Taiki.

Crystal scratched behind her ear. "Well, if I'm gonna do it, I might as well try to be good at it."

Shiro nodded simply to Kouga's answer, it made sense since Kouga was the type to wander, and in the case of Sesshoumaru he knew he'd head for the village to meet with Crystal, with that Shiro just sighed, walking past the wolf demon and Sesshoumaru to nab Tagiru by the shirt collar" then if we're going to the village, we better go." he said, idly pulling Tagiru along with an annoyed look on his face.

Sesshoumaru nodded a bit, and simply turned into an energy ball once more and floated off to head for the Village, leaving Kouga to make his own exit as he did so, though he did have some questions for Shiro anyway about why he actually smelled like a Hanyou yet still looked as human as ever, those could wait when they were in the village and not risking some fool demon to attack them.

MEANWHILE...

Inu-Yasha just sweatdropped at crystal's antics while setting down with his Ramen and all before settling down in his spot nearest to the fire and began setting it up to get water started for his cup ramen "so why -are- you trying to keep a semblance of normalcy anyway Crystal? you should come back to this era more often you know." he said, smirking a bit "maybe even show your boyfriend here around, it'd be good to travel again, even if Sango and Miroku can't come." of course said monk cleared his throat "though i would have to say i thought you also wanted to settle down, Inu-Yasha?" Inu-Yasha shrugged lightly "eh.. what can i say? i've always wandered even after my mother died, kinda hard to get used to it really."

"Hey!" Tagiru squirmed in Shiro's grasp. "I can walk by myself!"

Kouga simply followed along behind them deciding it would probably be best for him not to rush into the village as a high speed whirlwind traumatizing half the villagers in the process. It wasn't too far so walking at a normal pace wouldn't be that much of a pain for him.

*~*~*~*~*

"Trust me, I don't mind having some semblance of normalcy in my life when I can get it," Crystal explained. "But as it stands we've got our hands full just keeping the digimon epidemic in the human world under control without arousing too much suspicion. Not to mention, if Taiki and I don't keep checking in on our idiots they might accidentally destroy the world or something equally stupid if we aren't there to bail them out. All in all, I get my fill of adventure on a daily basis. Besides that, I grew up in the modern era. I thrive around computers and technology that doesn't exist in this era. Not to mention, and I know Kagome will agree with me on this one, hot indoor baths. Not that there's anything wrong with hot springs, of course."

"You said it," Kagome was in total agreement.

"Although, I wouldn't mind doing some exploring while we're here," noted Taiki.

"Maybe if you guys go touring around a little you'll even run into Kohaku," added Sango.

Crystal's nose twitched as several familiar scents wafted into the hut from outside traveling across the village from the forest. While Shiro also wasn't supposed to be there, she was really more upset about Tagiru.

"No way," she brought a palm to her forehead. "I can't believe that idiot actually managed to follow us here." She was also wondering why the hell Shiro was bringing him to the village instead of hauling his a** back through the well to the modern era like he should have.

"You don't mean..." Taiki trailed off knowing full well who Crystal must have been referring to.

"Yep, I smell Tagiru," Crystal sighed heavily. "At least he's with Shiro... and Kouga... and Sesshoumaru-nii-sama appears to be in the vicinity as well."

PostPosted: Mon May 14, 2012 10:42 pm
Shiro looked back to Tagiru with a frown as he narrowed his eyes "... i can't trust you to not run away the moment i do let you go, Tagiru, just so you can get away from your punishment, and probably run into a not-friendly Demon in the area. i swear.. you were -lucky- in running into Kouga and Sesshoumaru, as they're two of the -few- demons that are neutral to humans." he said calmly, but had traced Torashinai for emphasis of punishment, before dismissing it again as he moved along, sighing a bit and looking to the sky "then again, i know i'm in for a lecture and rant because of you..." he just shook his head and closed his eyes "Mendokuse-na..."

MEANWHILE...

Miroku blinked when he heard Crystal's words about this tagiru person, he tilted his head" who's this Tagiru character anyway?" he decided to ask, while Inu-Yasha snorted when he sniffed the air "i got a better question, why do i smell foxes all over Shiro's faint scent?" he asked pointedly, given he was looking a bit.. frustrated, obviously given two of the people he barely tollerates were both coming this way, well.. one he barely tollerates, the other he's still not too keen on being around unless he needed to, namely his Brother being the latter and Kouga the Mangy Wolf being the former.

"Oh come on, I wouldn't even know what direction to run," Tagiru continued to protest as Shiro dragged him along. "And why do you keep making it sound like Taiki-san and Crystal-san won't be happy to see me?"

"So, am I correct to assume that Crystal and this 'Taiki-san' that this little brat keeps ranting about were trying to ditch him?" Kouga wondered. He thought it sounded like there was some kind of oddly twisted love triangle going on here.

*~*~*~*~*

"I don't know all the details, but apparently Shiro always had trace amounts of Kitsune blood in him and somehow the spreading influence of his digimon half managed to bring his latent youkai potential to the surface," Crystal said by way of explanation about Shiro. She thought it rather ironic that it was actually harder to explain Tagiru.

"As for Tagiru," Crystal scratched behind her ear trying to find the right words to describe him. "I guess you could say he's kind of a friend of ours from the modern era, he thinks of himself as Taiki's junior so he attaches to him as a mentor figure, and he's extremely energetic, but he's not very bright and tends to cause a lot of trouble for everyone around him. Honestly, I took one look at him and my first thought was 'Aw look, Taiki adopted an idiot' and I don't think I was too far off in thinking that. I swear the kid needs a leash."

"I think it's more an issue of finding the right person to hold him back when I'm not there to supervise," Taiki noted with a slight sweatdrop.

"And somehow he was able to find his way to this era," added Sango. "He must be awfully persistent."

"I guess we're going to be in for an eventful evening," noted Kagome.

"And a pretty full house from the smell of it," added Crystal.

"So, if Shiro is part fox, do you think he'd mind becoming my vassal?" Shippo was already getting ideas.

PostPosted: Sat May 19, 2012 12:31 pm
Shiro noticed they were in range of the village, and decided to move and toss Tagiru on his feet to make him march a bit ahead of the group "pretty much. Tagiru usually makes it a mission to see Taiki embarrassed whenever it's possible to happen." he flicked his hidden fox ears lightly and twitching an eyebrow lightly "he's also kind of a lost puppy given he usually clings to either of those two when he needs help on things." he pinched the bridge of his nose "which is quite often unfortunately."

Inu-yasha looked up and flicked his ears as he heard Shiro nearing the village and idly reached over and tapped Shippou on the head (not bonk/bash like normal) "you might want to keep that on the down low. Shiro's in the village, and i don't think he'd take it well on the vassal thing. maybe an apprentice." he lightly picked up his finished cup of ramen and ate lightly, going into teary eyes of joy over the taste as per usual when he ate Ramen.

Miroku nodded over the explanations as he ate a chip lightly "hmm... though the fact that Sesshoumaru's in the area i'm surprised Inu-Yasha hasn't gone off and tried attacking his brother... or Kouga."

Inu-Yasha glanced over to Miroku and raised an eyebrow "not in a mood to heckle the Mangy Wolf, or antagonize my older brother. i'm sure the entertaining evening might be from this Tagiru kid that's coming with Shiro, though someone should probably warn Kaede about the two of them being in the village."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Tagiru's words were punctuated with more of his defiant wiggling. "And who are you calling a puppy?"

Crystal covered her ears to block out Tagiru's yelling. "I'm pretty sure the whole village is gonna know they're here thanks to that baka."

Shippo was covering his ears too. "Is that kid always this loud?"

"More or less," replied Taiki. "It's worse when he gets excited though."

"I'm starting to understand why you both were planning on leaving him behind in your own era," observed Sango.

Crystal began digging through the supplies she had brought with her until she came upon a roll of duct tape and a length of rope. "We can use these to restrain him and make him a little bit quieter at least," she remarked as she snatched up both and darted outside to meet Shiro.

"Hey look, it's Crystal-san!" Tagiru called across the village pointing toward the hut that Crystal had emerged from. "Would you mind getting Shiro-san off of me?"

He was confused when Crystal didn't answer. He was even more confused when she was upon him in a rapid blur of motion that ended with his hands tied behind his back and a strip of duct tape covering his mouth.

"Shiro, don't let go of him until I say so," Crystal instructed the other boy as she finished with her handiwork. Then she looked back at Tagiru. "As for you, just try to shut up for awhile, okay?"

Tagiru just went right on making muffled and confused noises of protest as he was being hauled across the village.

"Nicely done," Kouga appreciated the slightly muffled volume of the racket Tagiru continued causing. "I was half tempted to silence him myself."

Taiki could only sweatdrop at the sight of Tagiru having been bound and gagged by Crystal so he could be more easily escorted through the village by Shiro. Wouldn't that just make them all look like a bunch of kidnappers?

"Since he's not with them, I guess Sesshoumaru must have gone to visit with Rin before he joins up with the rest of us," noted Kagome.

PostPosted: Sat Jul 21, 2012 3:25 pm
Shiro just kept holding onto Tagiru as once he was tied up and gagged, continued dragging him along regardless without a problem as he spoke up "i wasn't intending on being here myself, but this baka had to go and follow Taiki and Crystal into the well, so naturally i had to follow to keep him out of trouble." of course he then glared at Tagiru and all before sighing "sorry if i ruined anything by letting him get past me Crystal." he said lightly rubbing the back of his head with his free hand and all.

Inu-Yasha shrugged lightly, as he looked about "hmm.. i still smell Sesshoumaru's scent in the area, not counting the slight scent coming from Shiro, the Mangy mutt, and the kid." he said while slurping on some Ramen lightly "so, how -have- you been Shiro, hm?"

Shiro just sweatdropped a bit at the question as he shrugged lightly "ehh, the usual, crazy stuff happening, me being in emotional turmoil for a while, nearly getting myself or others killed, the basics."

"Don't worry dog breath," Kouga wrinkled his nose at Inuyasha. "I won't be staying long. Since I was in the area already I just wanted to drop by to say hello to Kagome. I'll be leaving shortly."

"Well, at least it wasn't Shiro's fault that Ren sicced a Millenniumon on us," noted Crystal. "That honor goes to Roveth."

She inclined her head to Taiki. "I think it might be best for you to take Tagiru off his hands and try to calm him down so Shiro doesn't decide to murder him in front of everyone."

"Um... right," Taiki answered with a large sweatdrop. Mostly because he was fully aware that Crystal's words might not have been an exaggeration. Shiro wouldn't actually kill Tagiru, but he'd certainly beat him to within an inch of his life given the opportunity. With that in mind, Taiki took hold of Tagiru and kindly escorted him away from Shiro so he could attempt to quiet him down. Besides, there must have been some reason Tagiru had been so intent on catching up with them.

Once Tagiru was sufficiently calm and nodded vigorously that he would 1) keep his voice down and 2) not attempt to make a run for it once they untied him, Taiki let him go. After that Crystal casually sheered off the rope that had been binding Tagiru and he finished the job by peeling away the duct tape that had covered his mouth.

"So, I'm not too sure what's going on right now, but I wanted to let you know that I didn't appreciate going to all that trouble when Blaze was just going to interfere with my digimon hunting again," Tagiru pouted mildly.

This caused Crystal to sweatdrop.

"Oh man," she brought a palm to her forehead. "I didn't have a chance to tell him he was supposed to keep out of it."

*~*~*~*~*

While Blaze and Ryouma were snooping around the university's science department building, Nise Agumon Hakase was prowling around the chemistry storeroom rearranging jars, bottles and other assorted containers before assaulting them with a label maker he had gotten his claws on to put new incorrect labels on the various chemical containers. Some of them were very obviously wrong, such as any substances that would appear to be in the wrong physical state based to be what was written out on the label. This didn't seem to bother the reptile digimon as he went right on relabeling the containers and shuffling them around so that university staff wouldn't be able to readily identify them solely based upon their position on the shelves of the storeroom.

Suffice to say, all that shuffling around was a dead giveaway of his position inside of the science department building as there was no one else there aside from the two digimon hunters and their digimon investigating the scene.

of course, Shiro had no hand on Tagiru, so that was good, which meant he could calm down some, but he still had a look that promised pain to the boy later for doing something so stupid as to come here when he had no reason for being in this Era, either way he idly managed to follow the others back inside and found a place to sit down and lean against a wall gently while raising an eyebrow "that -is- true, not to mention it was Roveth's fault for letting it get as far as it did and having completely forgot he -had- a Digimon that could've dealt with the whole freaking mess -on his own- without alerting us to the trouble if he hadn't freaking panicked." Shiro sighed lightly "silly Yami-no-Ahou.."

Inu-Yasha raised an eyebrow while he flicked an ear to the fox hanyou "so i take it you guys are still having interesting adventures without us eh?" he said with a fang-like smirk and all, though he was a bit jealous since he also wanted to have a bit of fun too.

Shiro just shrugged a bit idly pulling out a sandwich from a pouch he hid under his cloak and all and began to munch on it. mmmh.. Ham and cheese "well, pretty much. too much to do, too little time, and all that." he said while taking another bite and chewing it down "So, Taiki, how do you like everyone in the Feudal era so far, even if you just met them?"

Inu-Yasha of course had an idea, if his mischevious look and glint in his eyes said anything, and leaned over to whisper something to Shiro, while idly pointing to Shippo and all. probably telling him of what he said. Shiro just looked at Inu-Yasha with a 'you're serious?' look, getting a nod in return, before looking to shippo warily and all, but didn't mention nothing on it at all, for now, not wanting to cause a scene at least.

"Uh... well, they seem like good people," Taiki answered truthfully although he hadn't been expecting Shiro to ask him that question and hadn't really been fully prepared with an answer for it. "And I think that being here is going to be fairly interesting."

"Which is why it's kind of a shame that we might have to cut our visit a little short," noted Crystal.

"NANI?!?!?! But I thought we were going to be camping out here for the entire weekend!!!" Tagiru had already begun to count himself as having been invited to tag along on this little excursion since he was there already anyway.

"You being here wasn't part of the original plan," Crystal glared at him. "And we can't just let you stay here with us without taking the time to tell your parents why you're going to be gone the whole weekend."

"But it's not like we can just send him back home on his own now that he's been here," added Taiki. "He'll just try to sneak back again."

"You're right," Crystal nodded sagely. "And we can't just let this idiot wander around Feudal Japan by himself."

Tagiru sweatdropped hard at the conversation now taking place at his expense. "Hey, I can take care of myself just fine!" he quickly protested.

"Maybe if you could use Gumdramon's power to defend yourself," Crystal stated simply. "But in this era there isn't enough digital power to sustain the digimon outside of the Xros Loaders. And the only reason they can survive at all is because of the limited digital power we've brought here with us."

"I can still fight in this era to a certain extent," Zapmon chimed in from inside of Crystal's Xros Loader. "But that's only because Crystal can generate elemental lightning as a catalyzing agent to emulate digital power."

"And even that's risky," Crystal finished.

Tagiru shrank a little as he started to realize how much of a disadvantage he seemed to have in this situation. "Is this place really that dangerous?"

"Well, it should be fine so long as we stay within the village," Crystal started again. "The youkai around here are mostly small fry, mainly large poisonous insects or overgrown feral animals."

"That's right, there's not much left around here that can make it past Inuyasha," noted Sango.

"NANI?!?!?!" Tagiru exclaimed again. "You mean Crystal-san's brother Inuyasha is here in this village?!?!?!"

Crystal sighed heavily, placed a steady hand on his shoulder and spun him around to face Inuyasha. "That's right, I haven't formally introduced you yet."

"Are you sure that's such a good idea?" Shippo spoke up. "I mean, if that kid is really annoying enough to get you and Shiro so riled up, then isn't he going to get himself clobbered by Inuyasha?"

"Well, it's certainly becoming very lively around here," Kagome noted with an obvious sweatdrop.

"Are they always like this?" Taiki had to ask.

(OOC Corner!)

[Jake] so what do you plan to do next Jared, next day for round two, with Roveth and i on the job?

[Jared] guess so, but Roveth will let you handle most of the stuff that's on one side of the coin, Blaze for the crazier side... but expect to have to help calm things down.

[Jake] got it. too bad Shiro's busy elsewhere. *snigger.*

[Jared] don't remind him, he's still hiding from Shippou.

Centralized Wall, Enter the Digital World!

the next day Jake would be seen once more with cloak on though not hiding his head at least, as he kept Lucia hidden from the masses, going through the classes once more that had been getting strangely accurate information more than the incidents with the pool, figuring that that one was probably more rowdy and needed someone else to deal with that "hmmm.. still don't think anyone normal could know this stuff without being a super-genius..." he mumbled, while looking back to his partner "Yuu should be here soon, i just figured to get a head start, that okay with you, Roveth?"

Roveth just snorted a bit and crossed his arms "i don't know how you found i was working on my information network both here in the human world with as extensive as it was in the digital world." he said lightly while Jake chuckled, of course by his side was a Dracmon of his own, as the mini-devil giggled maniacally "ne, Aniki... think Shiro-nii is doing okay?" Roveth looked to his partner, and just shrugged "knowing Shiro? he's probably taking it easy while watching Xros Heart's pet idiot."

Yuu arrived the next day accompanied by Akari and Zenjirou. His sister was understandably busy with her job of being an idol, but if there was any trouble they couldn't handle he could always call Nene and she would be there in a hurry using Monimon's teleportation ability. Kiriha was impossible to get in touch with being as he didn't seem to have a cellphone or, if he did, Yuu didn't have his number. Still, between himself, Akari, and Zenjirou along with the help of Jake and Roveth they shouldn't have too much trouble getting to the bottom of the mysterious digimon that had appeared at the university.

Ballistamon had been comically adorned with a trench coat and bowler hat so that he could be out in the open without drawing too much attention to himself, but of course that only made him look even more suspicious.

~The University Library~

Agumon Hakase stood awkwardly on a small stool so that he could reach the upper drawers of the old card catalog to determine the location where he should return some reference books that had been left out by students so he could helpfully put them back in their proper place for the next students who might want to have a look at them. While doing so he somehow managed to get a claw and his sleeve caught in one of the drawers causing him to yelp from the pain as he accidentally kicked the stool out from under him and latched onto one of the still open drawers of the card catalog so that he dangled precariously. It wouldn't take long for the investigation party to start hearing his desperate cries for help as he flailed about only a foot or two above the floor.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 03, 2013 5:17 pm
Roveth of course looked up from his leaning agaisnt the door frame, while he didn't have enhanced senses he did feel something off in the area, before he glanced to Dracmon "change into Sangloupmon right quick, maybe we can get a scent or something." the Dracmon nodded before evolving to Sangloupmon in paritcular, before perking it's ears up "Aniki, i hear something in distress!" of course, Lucia had pulled on Jake's leg to get him to look up from his mutterings to hear Sangloupmon "oh? then we should go check this out." he said, chuckling a bit before motioning to Roveth, who recalled Sangloupmon into his Xros Loader and followed Jake, quickly going after the noises, though he did run into trouble, well, not trouble persay, but accidentally bumped into the comical looking Ballistamon "Oof!" of course, that was jake falling backwards, with Lucia tumbling out of the cloak while Roveth stopped the black agumon and shook his head "yare yare! you need to watch where you're running, Jake." of course Jake just sweatdropped at Roveth, before looking at the comical 'disguise, and sweatdropped even harder "... how that would fool anyone, even i don't know." he said with a deadpan.

"I think he looks pretty snazzy considering we were in a hurry," Zenjirou quickly went to Ballistamon's defense. "Besides that, it was hard enough just to find something in his size. And if anyone asks, that beetle horn is an ultra modern pompadour."

"I think the color suits me," Ballistamon added with a mechanical smile.

Cutemon popped out of Akari's Xros Loader allowing for her to catch him reflexively before saying, "Anyway, I'm picking up a digimon in distress not far from here." He paused letting his antennae twitch about as he tracked the source of the signal. "In that direction," he finished once his antennae were pointed squarely at the building marked 'University Library'.

"Let's check it out," Ballistamon took off in that direction.

"Hang on, we're supposed to stick together!" Zenjirou hurried after him.

Akari sweatdropped. "I guess we'd better go too."

"Rogue digimon aside, I feel like we shouldn't leave those two alone in a place like this," Yuu agreed.
