[[XIII] Roxas]

"And it's kinda hard to take these pirates here in Neverland seriously," added Xion. Speaking of the Neverland pirates, Captain Hook was watching enviously from shore through a pair of binoculars at the group of hooligans that had taken over his Jolly Roger.

"Oh yeah, since we've already taken control of the ship, the pirates can't shoot at us anymore so it's safe to fly again," Roxas realized. He had been so caught up with the aquatic stunts show that he'd forgotten that was their original reason for coming to Neverland after all.

Crystal was glad that Shiro was inclined to take it easy of his own accord today and stretched mildly. "I think I'm up for a bit more flying," she lifted off the deck a bit and drifted over the side of the ship while squeezing at least some of the excess moisture from her clothes to make herself a bit lighter and easier to dry in the sun.

"I think I just want to sit here and listen to Demyx play for awhile," Xion decided. Honestly, she'd had more excitement in the last two days than she thought she could handle. This group really didn't let a moment go to waste.

"Well, are we flying or aren't we?" Roxas was already airborne as he peered down waiting on Axel.

Axel of course laughed while jumping into the air and flying off after Roxas and tagged him by tapping the boy on his nose with a grin "Tag, you're it!" he said, before flying off with a chuckle. this -was- fun, and he was definitely glad he suggested it, to be sure.

Roveth meanwhile shrugged, and flew up to join the others in dome some trick styles, while Shiro stayed on the ground with Demyx and Xion and listened to the musician as he begun strumming some of the happier songs he learned in his travels and recon missions when he wasn't busy being a lazy a** back at twilight town or with the organization way back when. he -does- take his music seriously thank you.

Obviously, the aerial game of tag instigated by Axel would be going on for quite a while. Probably until the sun started to sink down toward the horizon.

"Not that this isn't fun, but shouldn't we start thinking about where we're going to be spending the night?" Roxas would eventually interject.

"You have a point," Crystal would agree. "We can't exactly stay on the pirate ship. Captain Hook and his men will likely ambush us in the night if we decide to stay for too long. I mean, they really are pirates, even if Captain Hook is a little pathetic at times."

"Come to think of it, you said you wanted to see the sunset from the clock tower in Twilight Town," Roxas suddenly remembered. "If we leave now we can probably still make it."

"That's right! And afterward we can decide where we actually want to spend the night," Crystal added. "Twilight Town is another reasonably safe world for Shiro too so I don't think Roveth will object."

They would of course then return to the Jolly Roger to regroup with the others. "Captain Roveth, I do believe it's high time we surrender this vessel back to Captain Hook so that we can be on our way," Crystal would say once she had landed.

"I know you and Axel were just there, Demyx, but Crystal wanted to see the sunset from the clock tower in Twilight Town so I was kinda thinking now might be a good time to do that," Roxas would explain.

"I'd love to see it again too," Xion would brighten considerably at the prospect.

Axel had flew back down with the others, as Roveth pondered with a scratch of his chin on the thought, looking towards shore and staring right at Hook a moment, almost as if tempting to take the ship with him just to spite the pirate, but he wasn't -that- evil. "Aye... a change of scenery seems to be the best course for action then?" he said, before smiling, and idly taking off the captain hat before setting it back on deck with a smile "well, Twilight town -is- a safe place, despite the nobodies coming and going from there easily, no one tends to see or notice them so that's fine, we can get some Sea-Salt Ice cream too." he said as Shiro chuckled a bit, getting up from his seat with a stretch, rolling his arm a bit, having testing it during this to show the arm was back in shape after its overuse against cloud "sure, i have no qualms."

Axel looked to Demyx as the Sitarist shrugged, chuckling a bit "i may have just come from Twilight Town but i don't mind, given i was only there a few hours before Axel caught up to me." Axel just sweatdropped a bit "i didn't know that, otherwise i'd have waited a day." Demyx just grinned a bit, shrugging "either way, Twilight Town is definitely the destination."

"The Nobodies are pretty passive compared to the Heartless, especially when you aren't on the Organization's watch list, but if you have concerns about the ones in Twilight Town I can always summon my Samurai Nobodies to patrol the city for us," Roxas would point out. Even if he was a special case, he was still technically a Nobody in his own right and the Samurai Nobodies were nothing if not exceedingly loyal.

*~Twilight Town~*

Not long after they would assemble on the clock tower in Twilight Town with sea salt ice cream in hand. For Roxas and Xion it was a familiar and comforting view with strong ties to their friendship as well as to their friendship with Axel. It was also possibly the most crowded it had ever been at the top of the clock tower.

"It's amazing!" Crystal looked on in wonder at the crimson-orange glory of the view of the sunset from the top of the tower. She also felt a little nostalgic for Daybreak Town, which was possibly why Twilight Town seemed to have a strange familiarity for her as well. It was a very similar world to her childhood stomping grounds so to speak. Maybe that was why Time Warp had brought her to Twilight Town in the first place. It was probably the closest place to going back home that she was ever going to get. She smiled wistfully and then returned to focusing on eating her ice cream as a small drop dripped onto her hand to remind her that she was still holding it.

"Isn't it?" Xion gladly agreed. She had of course seen many such sunsets from the top of the clock tower, but no matter how many times she saw it the view was always spectacular.

Roxas, of course, smiled appearing genuinely very happy being back in this place with his two best friends as well as getting to share it with some new ones. "This really is the best."

Shiro and Roveth stood more inside thankfully to give the others room, eating their own sea-salt ice cream, looking content on their faces for the moment, while Axel of course chuckled a bit eating on his own bar "top ten views for sure, Got it memorized?" he said, while demyx just grinned and slung an arm over Axel's shoulder "personally i prefer one looking over an ocean but that's just my sense of beauty, this is in the top ten for me as well." of course axel chuckled a bit lightly while looking into the sunset, giving off a mental frown ~Isa...~ he thought to himself, while Roveth had finished his bar pretty quickly (quick brain freeze aside) as he walked off a bit to head downstairs, figuring they didn't need him busting up their moment and all so he'd go out tofind something to do, maybe pull some pranks or something while he was in town right quick, he -did- vaguely remember from Shiro that there was a trio of punks who didn't knw better and thought they were the law of Twilight Town...

There would be no argument from Crystal about the view from the clock tower being one of the top ten views because in her mind it was already in the running along with her old stargazing spot and the view of the two moons from Viper Manor. "I could definitely see making a habit out of this," she would say with a contented smile. She would then make an exaggerated grab for the setting sun. "It's almost like you could really touch it."

"You still need to talk to her about those orders from Riku, don't you?" Xion would ask Roxas.

"That's right, we never really finished discussing it," Roxas would answer. There were still a few things in particular that needed to be addressed.

"Huh?" Crystal would look mildly confused. "Didn't we already talk about that yesterday?"

"Like I said, we never really finished. I still have some questions," Roxas would continue. "And I'd like some real answers if you don't mind."

"Okay, that seems fair," Crystal would scratch behind her ear. "I'm not sure what more you want to know, but I'll answer as best I can."

Xion would turn to Axel and Demyx. "Hey, I've got an idea, why don't you guys give me a tour of that apartment I keep hearing about?" It was, of course, a ploy to give Roxas some time alone with Crystal so they could speak more openly without the looming threat of being teased for it. She wasn't really sure how to get rid of Shiro though. Crystal, however, already had that covered.

"Shiro, you might want to go keep an eye on Roveth to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble with the locals," Crystal would observe seeing as Roveth had already wandered off and she was able to guess it probably had to do with Seifer and his infamous disciplinary committee. No doubt Shiro's experiences with the bunch would be motivating some of that Roveth style retribution even if he had never personally met the lot of them.

Demyx and Axel nodded, though Axel was more nodding to the point of wanting to give Crystal some alone time, as he got up and followed along as he chuckled, leading Xion over towards their apartment and all, Shiro of courseo nly followed behind long enough to sense out his dark half, and with Shiroi Senko proceeded to go hunt for his Dark-half, leaving the pair alone to discuss things.

Roveth meanwhile had found his target as he idly begun spinning around a water balloon he had on hand filled with paint, grinning a bit, sure, he wouldn't do physical harm to those who are allies who accosted his light half, but that didn't mean he wouldn't take them to task for it, he already had a plan in mind for the leader of the bunch, the other two he had to think about a bit, before he grinned innocently enough, and set up a few more things in particular, namely for some traps when they would inevitably chase after him and all. either way, after he was ready he'd stake out his target, and with deft swings, the paint balloons went flying right for Seifer's head, back, and body, all filled with bright neon pink dye.

It was her suggestion to begin with so of course Xion would follow after Axel and Demyx. She was a bit curious about why Crystal had thought to send Shiro after Roveth expecting he might be getting into some sort of trouble since she'd never had the misfortune of meeting Seifer and the Twilight Town disciplinary committee herself, but figured it probably wasn't anything that should concern herself, Axel, and Demyx for the moment.


This left Roxas alone with Crystal on the clock tower. She seemed nervous for some reason, although it was mainly from being put on the spot like that even if she knew she did kind of have it coming.

"You told me that it should be my own choice and not because of being bossed around by Riku or anyone else, but you never mentioned whether or not you actually want me along either," Roxas finally broke the silence. If anyone else had said it Crystal would have probably seen it as a loaded statement, but coming from Roxas she knew there wasn't any hidden intent behind it.

"That's a bit complicated," Crystal answered quietly. "It isn't that I don't want you around because really, I'd like that a lot, but I really don't want anyone else being put in danger because of me and my sticking with Shiro. I don't want to see you hurt... or worse... watch you disappear."

"That's not going to happen," Roxas protested. Even if there was a very real possibility that it could he wasn't going to let it. "I guess you must really love Shiro a whole lot to stand by him like that though, knowing the kind of trouble he's in."

"Not that I expect anyone to understand the friendship between me and Shiro, and that's a low blow just so we're clear, but there are different kinds of love you can feel toward people in your life and Shiro is my best friend, but that's all. We have a strong connection, but I don't really see us making a future together," Crystal explained while staring off into the distance. "That would be a totally different kind of love."

"Axel tried to explain love to me and Xion once, but his explanation didn't really make much sense," Roxas frowned. "So, you're saying that how you feel about your friends is a kind of love?"

"I can't speak for anyone else, but it's my own personal philosophy that real friendship is built on trust and caring about what happens to your friends is definitely a sign of love," Crystal scratched behind her ear again looking a bit embarrassed. "It's not something I usually talk about. But I tend to think it's probably reflected in my actions. And I think about it a lot because my own feelings confuse the hell out of me."

Roxas was understandably taken aback by that logic. "You mean you don't really get it either?"

"Of course I don't!" Crystal retorted rounding on him a bit. "What the heart wants doesn't always agree with what the mind knows. It's annoying and complicated, plus we're teenagers so our feelings are even more hectic and unpredictable than most. Even when I think I've actually gotten a handle on things I can never be sure. It's awful at the times, but there are some good points too. I know who I can really trust and I have friends I believe in, and to me that's what's important. But for the most part, beyond that, I've locked away my own feelings to avoid becoming a burden on anyone else. I know it isn't right and there's probably a better way to deal with it, but no one can tell me what it is so I've been kind of stuck on that for a while now."

"It sounds like it must be hard to care so much about everyone," Roxas observed.

"It hurts at times and if I'm being honest my own feelings tend to scare me," Crystal shrugged. "But, you asked whether or not I want you to come along with us, and honestly having you around would make me happy. That's the real truth. I just don't like the idea that asking you to come along is tantamount to asking you to put yourself into danger for my sake and for Shiro's sake too. Our hearts are still connected while he struggles to rebuild what was lost when Roveth was extracted from his darkness and if anything negatively effects Shiro's heart, depending on the severity, it might rebound onto me. That's another reason I can't exactly leave him alone."

"Which explains why you suddenly collapsed after we rescued him from Kefka," Roxas realized.

"As soon as the adrenaline wore off, I felt the same pain he felt," Crystal nodded. "It isn't all bad though. Having that sensory overload did allow me to punch into my latent memories and as a result we were able to restore Xion to this reality so something good came out of it."

"I'm still not sure how you did that," Roxas pointed out.

"You helped," Crystal reminded him. "I couldn't have made it work if you weren't there supporting the both of us. Although even I couldn't tell you exactly how it came to me to do what I did. I just followed my instincts. I knew it was dangerous and I might not manage to pull it off, but if it would save a friend, then I at least had to try. I'm reckless and stubborn like that."

"I'm kinda surprised Riku asked me to be the one to protect you even after I let you go through with all that," Roxas realized.

"He'd have done the same for Sora," Crystal gave him an encouraging smile. "Fighting for the sake of your best friends is something we can all relate to."

"That's true," Roxas couldn't deny it. He'd done some crazy things in the past while worrying over Axel and Xion when the Organization wouldn't tell him where they were or what had happened to them. "So, you've kept your distance because you don't want to put anyone else at risk while you're busy keeping Shiro safe from himself and his enemies, but it also really kind of sounds like you must like me a lot too since you seem to worry so much about me being safe and all."

Crystal glanced down at her feet dangling over the edge of the clock tower, that all too familiar blush returning to betray her once again. "We're friends, so of course I'm going to want for you to be safe. And it isn't because I was asked to look after to you or anything like that either. When we met I knew from the start there was something I liked about you."

"Well, of course that couldn't be the reason, up until yesterday you wouldn't have even remembered being asked," Roxas reminded her. "Which means you decided that all on your own."

"Anyway, I think that's probably enough for you to make up your mind about whether or not you want to come along with us," Crystal finished before starting to get up so she could descend from the clock tower. "Now, unless I'm mistaken, which I don't think I am, Roveth seemed like he was getting ready to instigate a turf war with Seifer's gang."

"Ugh... not those creeps again," Roxas groaned audibly. True, his own interactions had been with a digital simulation, but from what he had seen while living in the real Twilight Town, Seifer wasn't much different from his digital counterpart. "They think they're so much better than everyone simply because Seifer acts like such a tough guy."

"Roveth isn't likely to back down either so there's good chance this will get real messy," Crystal added.

"We probably shouldn't leave Shiro by himself trying to stop them," Roxas shook his head. "I really can't believe those guys sometimes." After he said that his tone softened a bit. "By the way, I already decided that I want to come with you guys. Even if it isn't strictly to follow Riku's orders, it's at least interesting and you're pretty cute when you let your guard down."

"And that's not fair!" Crystal immediately protested being careful not to trip and fall from the clock tower while Roxas gave an unapologetic smile and chuckled at her reaction.

"If you say so," Roxas still sounded amused. "Anyway, we should probably get down from here and try to disrupt that turf war before it gets overly out of hand."

of course, once Crystal and roxas got to ground level, they'd see Roveth ducking through the alleys and such, colorful explosions of smoke and powder following him as Seifer's Gang ran by, Roxas would -clearly- see a blur of hot pink (Seifer), what looked like a ballerina (Fujin) and a definite drag queen (Raijin) chasing after him yelling all kinds of threats of bodily harm and so on, all the while triggering more traps, oddly enough, the traps triggered seemed to not damage or paint the town in any way, so it seemed Roveth was somehow localizing the -damage- to those three, if there was any indication. of course, by the time Roveth finally perched himself on an alcove nearby Hayner's base of operations, Seifer would look like a pink flamingo (feathers and paint/tar included!) Fujin and Raijin would look like what Roxas had glimpsed, a Ballerina (tutu, makeup, shoes, and all, and looking positively livid.) and Raijin looked like a -very- badly hiding Drag queen, makeup, clothes, and all (and a red angry face with those pouty looking red lips!) as Roveth sat where he was taking pictures of the three grinning all the while "consider this payback for being a bunch of pricks to my Light half!" he cackled in pure evilness... yep, even if he wasn't evil in the 'take over the multiverse' fashion like Xehanort.. Roveth was evil in other ways... he'd probably give a blonde knuckleheaded ninja a run for his money for the title of Demon King of Pranks, it seems as he gave his shark-like smirk "Oi, if there's anyone inside the area, come out and look at the Flamingo, Ballerina, and victim of fashion!" he called out, given he had faint traces of presences in the area.

Shiro of course had sighed from a nearby rooftop shaking his head a bit lightly "Oi, Roveth, you idiot! i think that's enough traumatizing the locals..." he of course got a good look at Seifer's gang, and deadpanned, to hide his internal struggle of actually giggling his head off at how rediculous the three looked. Roveth noticed the deadpan and yet deep amusement in Shiro's eyes, and smirked "awww, must you ruin my fun?" he said with a whine, as Shiro shook his head lightly "... Roveth... i know why you did this.. and you know i don't approve of revenge even if it's justifiable." Roveth crossed his arms "not gonna apologize or help clean them off either, so don't get that thought in your head." Shiro sighed "The rest of Twilight Town?" Roveth complied with a smile "untouched, i set up the traps to not leave any traces that'd affect the rest of the town, just these three." he said, pointing at Seifer's gang.  

[[XIII] Roxas]

Roveth's call would be answered as Hayner, Pence, and Olette emerged from their secret base. Hayner would be rolling with laughter at the sight of the Twilight Town disciplinary committee decked out as they were while Pence would be showing slightly more restrained laughter while having his own camera out to snap some pictures as well. Olette would be trying to suppress her own laughter while attempting to hold Hayner back from making Seifer any angrier than he was already given that him and his cronies seemed liable to explode into fury any instant now. Hayner would instead move to latch onto Roveth, "Man, was this your doing? You've got to show me how you did it!"

Roxas and Crystal would run up shortly, finally catching up with Roveth and his angry entourage. Roxas was struggling not to laugh, given he knew Seifer was definitely pissed and sure as heck wasn't going to let this one slide. And, of course, his own arrival on the scene would likely make him an accomplice. Crystal too for that matter.

"Remind me to never get on Roveth's bad side," Roxas managed while still struggling to reign in his own laughter.

"If I have to remind you, you're not as smart as I thought you were," Crystal responded while snickering mildly. While she certainly felt that Roveth's humiliating retribution was more than a little extreme she couldn't help but also find it rather hilarious.


Meanwhile, Xion had heard the explosions outside from the apartment while Axel and Demyx were showing her around. "What's going on out there?"

Axel looked to Xion, then back to Demyx, who shrugged a bit in confusion, as this was new even for him in twilight town, before Axel remembered who exactly was in their group, and facepalmed "... if i was to hazard a guess, probably Roveth taking out some kind of vendetta against Twilight Town's Disciplinary comittee, a trio of kids named Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin." he said, sighing lightly "either way, i'm going to assume Roveth declared war on them over some petty reason, and just keep the three of -us- out of it, nothing against the guy.. but Roveth's the type of guy you don't want to mess with, given that you're friends with Roxas, myself, and Crystal, he'll be relatively normal around you, but to his enemies, or to certain neutrals or allies that wrong those he holds close in that black heart of his? ohhhh ho boy, i do -NOT- want to be them. got it memorized?" he said with stark seriousness, while Demyx gulped a bit lightly "uhm..right... should i worry then?" Axel looked at Demyx, before shaking his head "as long as you don't get on his bad side, you're good, he might pull something harmless here and there." he'd then continue leading Xion onwards to the apartment and all, which was pretty spacious, a three bedroom two bath apartment with a couple of rooms that could be refitted into bedrooms and all.

Roveth had grinned, looking to Hayner a bit "hmm.. all it took was some water-balloons filled with pink dye to get their attention, and prepared traps before hand on a planned route of 'escape' that'd lead them through a gauntlet of doom, and well, you get the results right there." he said with a smirk, before looking over to Crystal and Roxas arriving "yes well for you two i'd still go much lighter than these bozos." he said, while conjuring up a pair of shades, putting them on epicly, and giving off the clear face of 'Deal with it!' towards the three uber-pranked victims of his, while Shiro groaned, and facepalmed, before flipping off the rooptoff, using various roof kicks to land on the ground safely and walked up to smack his dark half upside the head "idiot... we weren't here to bother the locals or get revenge on them for something they probably don't even remember." Roveth looked seriously to his light half "you're too forgiving, aibou. especially to people who wrong you that had no reason to even bother you."

Xion would give a nervous laugh to Axel's description of Roveth's personality. Was he really such a scary guy? Xion didn't want to find out. But then she relaxed once they were inside the apartment and she was being shown around. "This is really nice. So, it's just been the both of you and Roxas when he's in town, right? But it seems like there's a lot of space in here."


Seifer was positively frothing with anger. It took him a second, but he did definitely recognize Shiro as someone he and his cronies had harassed before, but that was because the guy seemed totally spineless to begin with. He also recognized Crystal as the same girl who had bailed Shiro out the last time they had met. And, of course, Seifer knew of Roxas since when Roxas wasn't being called to Master Yen Sid's tower by Riku to help out with Sora's training he had been living right here in Twilight Town. Seifer mainly left him alone since he seemed like a decent enough kid and besides that he always appeared busy with something.

"I see, so you all know each other," Seifer gritted out while trying to reclaim some of his lost dignity. He glanced between Shiro, who was clearly flying solo tonight, and Roxas who was clearly being accompanied by the girl who had been Shiro's ally on their last encounter. "Tough break, chicken-wuss, looks like your girl is backing someone else now."

"..." Open palm, insert face. "Seriously, that's what you decide to make a jab about?" Crystal shook her head in a combination of annoyance and disgust. "What a total moron. I'm not backing anyone. And even if I were, it's not like Shiro and Roveth need my help to put you in your place."

Roxas was obviously confused, not really understanding the context of the exchange that had just taken place here. "Anyway, shouldn't you guys scram before anything worse happens to you?"

Seifer knew how to count. He could probably take Hayner's little trio by himself, seeing as Hayner was the only actual fighter of the bunch. But that still meant it was five-to-three, assuming the rest of these party crashers decided to get involved. And Roveth had managed outpace him, Fujin, and Raijin with seemingly little effort. "Che, we'll call it a draw for now," Seifer finally conceded as he signaled the other two to follow him as they left the immediate area in a huff.

Once the three were out of earshot Crystal no longer made any effort to contain her laughter. "You really just can't help yourself, can you?" she turned to Roveth. "It's not enough to have a nice quiet evening in town. You had to go and make us all into fugitives now that Seifer is going to be plotting his own revenge on all of us by association."

"Ha! Let him try!" Hayner was still grinning hugely. "His badass reputation just got wrecked!"  

[Kuukyo_Fushichou]

Roveth just stared off in the direction of Seifer and his gang leaving, almost -well- tempted to turn seifer into a chicken for a few hours now, instead of a flamingo, cawing and all, before Shiro put a hand on Roveth's shoulder, as if noticing what his dark half had been thinking, before roveth responded to Crystal "not my fault you guys decided to come see what havoc i wrought on them, if anything i was expecting at minimum Hayner's gang being here for extra blackmail pictures on the pains in the necks." he said calmly enough, while Shiro sighed, and shook his head "Yami-no-Ahou... you should've known i'd be coming to stop you from getting too out of hand. seems i missed my mark though." Roveth then smirked a bit lightly at Hayner's comment of Seifer's reputation getting wrecked "that's exactly what i was aiming for. he decided to belittle and antagonize Shiro here.. and while i was a bit extreme as Crystal mentioned... let's just say i could've done -much- worse if there was no way for these three to trace it back to me." he said, while Shiro narrowed his eyes "Roveth.... No." Roveth pouted of course towards his light half "but--" Shiro shook his head "no, and that's final Roveth, i do -not- want you to escalate things further." Roveth of course looked a bit bummed for that, while sighing "fine fine.. i won't give them horrors in their nightmares for the rest of their lives." he said, grumbling a bit in clear distaste of not getting to escalate things.  

[[XIII] Roxas]

Hayner in particular would be laughing rather hysterically for several more minutes before finally calming down to really show his appreciation for the humiliation that had befallen Seifer and his obnoxious disciplinary committee. "So hey, it's kinda late and we've all got to be heading home, but if you guys are in town you should definitely look us up so we can really hangout next time." He nabbed Roveth around the shoulders again. "I totally need to pick your brain for some mad ideas to keep Seifer off our backs, sound good?"

"There he goes trying to get us into trouble again," Olette shook her head in mock disappointment. Seifer and his goons really did have it coming, but she really wished Hayner would show some tact and be a little more careful.

"Still, we've got some good dirt on them now at least," Pence pointed out while lightly caressing his camera. "I can't wait to get these developed!"

He snapped another quick picture because the dumbfounded way Roxas and Crystal were both staring at everyone was also rather amusing.

"Well, at least Roveth made some new friends," Crystal decided to let him off the hook for now.
