Kingdom Hearts - Blades of Three Realms

The alarms in the Command Center started blaring again, although this time it was in response to an external threat. The viewing monitors would show that the Unversed from all quadrants had suddenly converged into a single gargantuan mass, reforming into one massive Unversed with a demonic appearance and comprised of interlocking armored segments. It was at least as massive as the surrounding buildings and appeared way more destructive than its much smaller constituents.

"It looks like you were right about him wanting revenge Roveth," Roxas was looking into the monitors with a note of strained disbelief. "And it looks like he decided if he can't pulverize us himself he's going to flatten us with a giant Unversed."

"I don't think the power suits are going to cut it against that Colossus," Crystal pointed out. "Even my summons would have a tough time damaging something so massive."

"I guess Vanitas must really like to fight dirty," noted Xion.

"No kidding," Roxas agreed. "Roveth, tell me we have something that can stop that thing."

Roveth had looked at the screens, frowning a ibt, before sighing "i was afraid of this, given i studied a good bit into the history of the rangers before us, and they had to deal with similarly large monsters, thankfully though we do have an answer to this, we have access to what is known as Zords, sentient mechanical lifeforms that individually are pretty powerful ,but their main power is combining into one massive robot known as a Megazord." he said, tapping the controls a bit as Wall-E also beeped in affirmative on that, and on the screens showed various zords and Megazords in action as Shiro pondered things and looked at the screens ".... Axel, you and Shiroi Senko stay here, since its us he wants.. its us he'll get." Axel frowned in annoyance "oh come on, i bet i could take that thing--" Shiro of course turned to Axel, letting those cold calculating and clearly -holllow- eyes stare at Axel "Axel, that thing is a HUNDRED TIMES BIGGER THAN YOU. the most you'll even do to that unversed is slightly warm up a foot." Axel whined a bit and and looked ready to try to negotiate, but Shiro wasn't having any of it "No Axel! i will not let you go out there to get killed! it would be a different story if you were a ranger as well as you'd have access to Zords too, but at this point you're a liability." with that the Fiery assassin slumped, and moved away from the others a bit to sulk, while Shiro turned to Roveth "what's the method of utilizing these Zords?" Roveth sighed, rubbing his neck a bit "it varies from generation to Generation, but i would say by far the most powerful i've seen outside of ones closer to the Zords for the Megaforce and Super Megaforce rangers, would be the Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger's Zords, which used their power coins to create power crystals to control their respective Zord." he said, while Shiro nodded "the Mighty Morphin' form is the easiest to maintain, short of, for me at least, the Mystic Force Rangers, and Dino Thunder, now that i got used to the heavy drain on that one." Roveth nodded, looking serious "no using Triassic Mode though, it still nearly wipes you out." Shiro nodded a bit "right, well... Mighty morphin' it is." he said, bringing out his morpher and taking up his Super Megaforce key and the two instantly morphed into the red and blue Super force rangers with a nod, even as Axel watched on in slight awe, and envy, now that he realized his best bud Roxas and even Xion got to play with new toys.

For Xion it was business as usual suiting up into the Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger. And for Crystal isn't what too far off from what she had already utilized since the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger suit was nearly identical to the metallic armor suit she had used as a direct transition from the Ninjetti robes previously. The only major change for the group was Roxas given that he was taking on the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger position as in that generation green was the Legendary Sixth Ranger slot.

"Alright, looks like we should be good to go," Crystal nodded to the others.

"Sorry Axel," Roxas apologized. "And try not to worry too much."

"We'll do our best to make sure this doesn't take too long," added Xion.

Axel just narrowed his eyes but nodded a bit, calming down, though he still pouted a bit thinking that they got all the cool stuff while he had to mostly sit on the sidelines this time, and have cool stuff. "fine, you guys better be careful though, that thing looks like it means business." he said, while Roveth nodded a bit with a hum "it does look like it means business, but so do we." Shiro chuckled a bit lightly before nodding with a smirk "too true.. now.. shall we, Roveth?" Roveth nodded, and the two of them transformed into Super Megaforce Red and Blue Ranger respectively, before they brought up their morphers and called out "Legendary Ranger Mode, Mighty Morphin'! IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!" and they had switched to Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Red and Blue themselvs, before Shiro took a breath, and nodded "alright, Back into action!" with that, Roveth, Shiro, and the other three following them would teleport outside onto a nearby building near the huge unversed before Shiro turned off to the side, and began posing out, just out of instinct "we need Dino Zord power, Now!" he called out, just as he did, the ground would start to shake, forming into a large crevasse as a LARGE robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex would rise up, from the nearby snow-peaked mountains a trumpet? of sorts would sound, as the Mastodon Zord started charging in. from the Desert area on tank-like treads the Triceratops zord would cry out as well coming to the Ranger's aid, from the nearby Jungle would jump out the Sabertooth Tiger Zord, and well, from a nearby volcano (eh.) out would come a Pterodactyl zord, crying out as if assuring their victory.

Once the Zords appeared each of the group would mount their respective unit before ducking inside to take control. For Roxas this was reasonably straightforward because the Mastodon Zord was land based which provided him with simple, intuitive controls. And, of course, it could also blast the Unversed Colossus with frigid air and mist, although it didn't seem to do much in the way of damage to the enormous monstrosity.

Xion had a little bit of trouble getting started, being new to this whole piloting thing and having the Pterodactyl Zord being the flight model in the group. She was luckily able to figure it out pretty quickly though. The Pterodactyl Zord also had twin lightning lasers to utilize against the Unversed Colossus, but as might be expected the giant monstrosity barely seemed to notice the blasts.

Crystal was right at home in the Sabertooth Tiger Zord, speeding along and using the tail cannon to shoot large yellow lasers at the Unversed Colossus. But still, none of the blasts seemed to be making much of an impact. "It looks like we might not get anywhere fighting this thing individually," she noted over the communication system. "We should probably hurry it up and figure out how these Zords are supposed to combine."

The Unversed Colossus would begin lumbering toward them, slamming against buildings and causing tremendous smoke explosions as it shambled along swaying awkwardly from a lack of coordination resulting from its enormous size.

even after Shiro and roveth tried their assaults, Shiro had frowned seeing no damage either, and proceeded to narrow his eyes lightly, before glancing along the controls, and going slightly wide-eyed seeing the two palm-grips he had missed "alright.. i think i can do this... let's see... Megazord Battle mode!" he called out, gripping onto the grips, and the two lights lighting up, before energy started pouring into the Zords grid, unleashing into the third light, which started the Megazord Sequence, first with the Mastodon opening up, and the Triceratops and Sabertooth Tiger zords laying down and adjusting their tail weapons, once everything started to connect, it looked like the five zords made itself into one large tank, as Shiro nodded with a smirk "this should work a bit better.. let's see how you like this, punk!" he called out, beginning to have the arm cannons and eye lasers all fire at once on the Colossus to try and deal some major damage.


Axel frowned seeing the fact that not much had been working, though the new try from this tank mode hadn't gone through just yet, he was worried, as Gosei spoke up "the rangers have done exceptionally well these past few weeks, but this latest foe might be too much even for the megazord, in essence.. i offer you the chance to join with your friends and help defend this world, as well as other worlds, with powers much like theirs." Axel looked over to Gosei, a bit surprised at hearing that "really? because if its true, then i'll do it!" Gosei gave off a chuckle "Eager.. well be forewarned.. these particular rangers will take even more stamina than normal, though all of the rangers have access to them, only you will be able to utilize the keys i mention to beyond their full power." with that, and a flash of silver light later, a new morpher had appeared, proceeding to look much like a scanner of sorts as well as a 'phone', but the numbers point to various ranger helmets that look vastly different from the other rangers. "you are to be the Super Megaforce Silver Ranger, and with your legendary mode.. you weild the powers of the Sixth Rangers of the past, and future." Axel stared at it, once he took up the morpher, his coat would change from being the midnight black it usually is to being a bright silver, and zipped open to reveal a black shirt and blue-jeans underneath the coat with silver sneakers. "wow... nice outfit change. either way... its time to help Roxas and the others, i hope that Unversed is ready for a severe case of heartburn, got it memorized?" he would then pull out the proper key and put it into the scanner, then pressed the 8 key on the morpher "alright, time for Super Mega mode!" with that, the Super Megaforce Silver ranger key was scanned, before the area around him went starry, a silver X had formed and passed through him to put him in the black underarmor, before another X flew through and covered Axel in the silver coat of Super Megaforce Silver, and both X's came around to the head, passing through it to create the silver ranger helmet "Super Megaforce... Silver!" he called out, before things returned to normal vision, before he looked at himself and cheered "this feels so awesome! now i can see why they've been having a bit of fun with things even if it's been a chore dealing with the Unversed!"

The Unversed Colossus seemed to sway backwards as the cannons and lasers from the newly formed Megazord bombarded it. The armored segments began to click and rotate, adjusting to reverse the Unversed Colossus's momentum so that it instead ricocheted back toward the Megazord. The joints connecting the arms also swiveled around to swing wildly at said Megazord.

Inside the tank form of the Megazord Crystal, Roxas, and Xion had a tight grip on their respective sections of the command console as the compartment was swaying back and forth from the explosive impacts of the Unversed Colossus bearing down on them.

"This Unversed seriously isn't fighting fair!" Roxas protested as it moved unnaturally to sway back toward them again.

"Maybe if we break off some of those interlocking segments we can slow it down," Crystal suggested.

"Well, at least it actually seemed like it felt that last assault," noted Xion.

Shiro and Roveth also got flung about but hung on to the consoles as the explosions hit, before Shiro gave off a small growl "yeah, but if all it's going to do is rebound... hmm..." he then looked to Roveth, who nodded "there's probably a fighter mode to this thing if there's a tank mode, go for it!" Shiro nodded, urging the power crystal forward "Alright! activate Megazord Battle Mode!" there was a mechanical male reply of "Megazord Sequence has been Initiated." of course, this led to the cannon pieces ejecting to go be placed on the Mastodon back as the Pterodactyl Zord also disconnected, allowing the mastodon feet to fold inwards to form metallic fists, and the black body flare open to form shoulder pads. next some thrusters and adjusting gears and servos began twisting and coming into gear as the Megazord was moved, the fronts of the Triceratops and Sabertooth tiger zord moved with it to form the feet of the megazord, and once it fully stood tall, the 'chest' of the Tyrannosaurus opened up ,and took in the front face of the Zord before it closed back up, just in time too as the Pterodactyl flew down to switch positions, and become the armored guard of the Megazord, and finally, with the newly revealed face, two horns slid into place from the sides in a sweeping form, eyes lighting up just as lightning and energy struck the Megazord and powered it up to full mobility "Megazord Activated." the voice called out, before the Megazord would start to move, using a punch to bash away one of the wild swings, before trying to aim for some punches towards the joints that seemed to hold at least the arms together to damage them first.


Axel meanwhile had turned towards the screens nearby to see the changes, looking surprised "a Giant Robot? sweet! but it looks like that unversed is still tougher than it looks... i better go help." he said, before taking out what looked to be a Green ranger with golden armor on tyhe chest and slipped it into the Morpher "Legendary Ranger mode, Mighty Morphin'! IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!" with that, a large flash of light and energy occured, before the 'Sixth ranger' known as the Mighty Morphin' Green Ranger had appeared before Axel nodded, giving off an internal wince "you weren't kidding when you said the strain was immense, huh Tiki dude?" of course, gosei chuckled at the name, as if remembering an Inside joke while Wall-E whistles appreciatively at the Sixth ranger, before Axel took his cue to disappear in green energy, to head for the battlefield.

The Unversed Colossus was knocked back somewhat by the Megazord's punches and some of the segments connecting its arms did get vaporized by the pressure of those punches. The armor would again rearrange, pieces from the body becoming re-positioned into the arms to replace the pieces that were lost. And then the Unversed Colossus would come back swinging with its own punches at the Megazord while causing even more great big smoke explosions.

"It looks like Crystal had the right idea about trying to take it down in sections," noted Xion.

"Taking down the whole thing at once would be impossible, but the individual segments are actually pretty vulnerable if we hit them hard enough," Crystal agreed.

"Yeah, but we don't know how long we can maintain this form," Roxas pointed out. "We need to come up with a way to end this quickly or we might exhaust our options."

of course, just as Shiro was going to speak up, he heard a -very- familiar voice echo out "looks like you guys need some help!" of course, Shiro would snap his helmeted head in the direction the voice came from, and had a screen zoom in, showing the Mighty Morphin' Green Ranger standingo n a nearby rooftop in Angel Grove "... as much as i -really- want to yell at Axel for being out her, seeing him in ranger uniform means Gosei had one last morpher up his sleeve just in case." Roveth nodded, looking a bit relieved "yeah... though you're probably going to yell at him later aren't you." Shiro snorted, glancing back to Roxas "nope, i'm leaving it to you Roxas, as he's your best friend." he said with amusement as Axel brought out what looked to be a green and black dagger "time for some Dragonzord Power!" he called out, before bringing the dagger up to the helmet and started playing a energetic tune of a rising nature, and from the depths of the sea nearby, bubbles came forth as what looked like a dragon-like zord came out of the waters, roaring with joy(?) at being awoken once more by its master, and charged forward into battle, where Axel changed tunes with a supporting like tune, causing Dragonzord to bring up its arms, and out of the fingers popped missile tips, just before they fired at the Unversed Collossus, to do more damage. Shiro had sighed, shaking his head with amusement, before looking up to the sky "we need the Power Sword, Now!" he called out, and a bright and silvery saber flew down from the skies, being caught by the Megazord asthe eyes flashed dangerously, showing that it was clearly stronger with one of its best weapons in hand.

"Well, he let me off the hook for what happened before he got here so I think we'll just call it even," Roxas responded with slight embarrassment. He really didn't expect that he was in any position to lecture Axel for joining the fight when he himself had been pulverized for not being more careful when choosing his battles.

"Besides, now he doesn't have to feel left out," Crystal added clearly not viewing Axel's presence to be a problem.

"But isn't this kind of overdoing it for his first day on the job?" Xion wondered.

"We can worry about that later," Roxas concluded. "Besides, we really do need the help. Look, it's already working!"

The combination of missiles from the Dragonzord and the addition of the Power Sword brought even more fireworks as sections of the Unversed Colossus began disappearing much more rapidly until eventually the squishy central core of the thing, which appeared to be one massive Bruiser Unversed, became exposed.

Shiro had hummed, deciding to let it go then, they -did- need to help that's for sure, as the bruiser was revealed, Shiro pondered the thoughts on combining Megazord with Dragonzord, but shook his head, no need to put unneeded strain on Axel his first morphing experience "Power sword, Full power!" Shiro called out, raising the sword into the air as it began shining a bright red color, being hit by golden yellow lightning as well. Axel of course wanted a last hit in too as he played the Dragon Dagger once more, and the Dragonzord had roared, whipping around to try and drive its tail-drill right into the Bruiser for more damage, before pulling away just as Shiro made the slashing motion with his hand, and the Megazord moved to swing the blade in a Bisecting maneuver for the Bruiser.

The Unversed Colossus would stagger briefly before becoming enveloped by a sequence of colorful smoke explosions being rendered in slow motion for dramatic effect. And then, as the smoke cleared, the Unversed Colossus was gone. (Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, Vanitas would be howling with pain and rage as his magnificent creation was obliterated.)

"Wait, did we just win?" Roxas looked on thinking it was a bit anticlimactic, although it was certainly a relief to see that it was over.

"It looks like there aren't any more Unversed being detected in this sector so I'd say we did," Crystal confirmed while examining the data being pulled in from the outside.

"We should probably head back so Axel can safely power down and get some rest," added Xion.

"Hey Axel, how you doing out there?" Roxas would call out through the intercom system. "Ready to call it a day?"

Roveth and Shiro looked at each other for the anti-climatic win on their side. what, no explosions? eh, maybe next time. either way, Axel had put one final Tune out for Dragonzord to return to the ocean before powering down from Legendary Mode to Super Megaforce Silver ranger form, giving off some panting as he sweatted inside the helm "probably a good idea.. man this is rough! how did you guys handle it your first time?" he asked with genuine curiosity, as Shiro shrugged a bit from within the cockpit "sheer determination and as my Dark half calls it, my 'Cold Calculated Killer' mode. i passed out soon as i hit the bed at the command center tho after the fight." roveth nodded a bit, chuckling "you'll get used to it. either way let's rest up, we'll probably need all the rest we can get."

once the Zords were returned back to their resting places and everyone back in the command Center, Axel was laying on the floor in his new getup panting from the strain of maintaining a Legendary mode and a Zord so quickly and all. "prolly deserve this for coming to help half-cocked with full cylinders going instead of holding back..." he wheezed out, while Shiro and Roveth looked on in total amusement at Axel's exhaustion.

"Actually, you were pretty cool out there," Roxas glanced down at Axel once they were back in the Command Center with a smile. "And this new look definitely suits you."

"And we definitely couldn't have done it without you," added Xion.

"Still, it's true we should probably get some rest," Crystal agreed. "Oh, by the way, Roveth, there's something I'd like for you to have a look at. I've never been able to make it work right, but since you've been so productive making modifications to our gear here, I think maybe you might have better luck with it."

She then pulled out what at a glance seemed to be nothing more than a PDA or something similar. The screen would show a detailed 4-dimensional mapping of nearby and distant worlds, but none of it was labeled and there would seem to be connecting pathways that didn't seem to actually exist in reality.

"See if you can make heads or tails of it," Crystal spoke as she handed it over to Roveth. "All I know is that it's called the Dimensional Distortion Grid and it can detect strong accumulations of darkness on various worlds among other things, but figuring out where it wants to take me has been damn near impossible."

"Why do you have something like that?" Roxas asked the obvious question.

"It was given to me, not that I've ever been able to use it properly," Crystal scratched behind her ear looking a little embarrassed. "It's supposed to help me find my way, but all it seems to do is get me even more lost."
