Hey there everyone. I've been back for awhile now. Just been busy posting in other threads and what not. xd

Anyway, I got an A on my text analysis paper. It took awhile to find the papers for the class, since the actual gal was off on lunch, and the folder that the papers were in weren't labeled like the other classes. So the other gal was having a heck of time trying to find the papers - until she was saved by the actual gal.

So bloody cold out right now. It's currently dry and windy... but some moisture is said to be coming in later tonight or so... meaning there's a chance of snow. We'll see if we'll actually get any down here. With the temperatures we're having right now, I wouldn't be too surprised if we did get some.

Of course with this constant mention of potential snow and me going out tonight for a get-together with my friend for her Twilight Marathon, Mom's been getting into the "over-protective" mode. She keeps going on about how I should take an "over night" bundle of stuff, just in case I'm not "able to drive." Seirously! She makes it sound like I've never driven in snow. Okay... sure I haven't actually driven in snow-snow... but I've driven while it's been snowing before and driven when the roads been slushy. *rolls eyes* Thanks Mom for being concerned about my welfare, but could you please turn the protective mode down a notch. It's getting annoying.

Almost time for me to leave. You know what... I might as well go ahead and go now while it's still light out, so I can actually see the street signs and know where I'm going. So I'll talk to you tomorrow most likely.

Good morning everyone.

So last night I went to my friend's Twilight Marathon. I ended up being the only friend who was able to make it. Some of the others ended up getting sick and one had to work. So it was just me and my friend to do the marathon watching. Took me awhile to find the house though. Finding the roads to turn on was no problem; it was finding the actual house that caused issues for me. Lighting for the numbers of the houses was terrible. It was a miracle if I could even seen the numbers - from my car! whee But with some help from my Dad ((I called him)) and asking one of the residents in the area if they knew where it was, I managed to find it. We had pizza and Coca Cola... and some German Chocolate that my friend's adopted brother had gotten from one of his co-workers. I even tasted a drink concoction that the brother made - Coca Cola and whiskey ((not sure which whiskey though)). Very yummy.

Then on the way home I felt like I was doing my own version of the debris swerving scene from Twister trying to drive around all of the fir tree branches and trying not to get blown off course by the wind. It seriously was crazy weather out there. Glad I made it home okay, that's for sure.

During the night/morning, the power kept blimping on and off. So I kept getting woken up every now and then by our fire alarms doing their little noise sounds as they received or lost electric power. xd

The constant blimping on/off power has caused my Dad's computer to freeze... lock... whatever... up.

EDIT: Dad's having to get a new power supply plug apparently.

For other news - we have snow. Just a light dusting - enough to turn everything white.

Hello everyone. I'm back until my parents decide to go to the living room to either watch TV or a movie... or whatever we decide on.

*pets her snow deer* Isn't he beautiful? I'm thinking of naming him Jack... Jack Frost. xd

Mom and I ended up going to do more Christmas shopping. We each came back with a few items. So hard to find anything this year. *sighs* And helped my Mom get a better idea of what sort of coat I'm looking for. I'm going for a similar look to BBC Sherlock's coat. And before you ask - no, I'm not only wanting the style because of my recent obsession with the show. I've actually wanted a coat of that style for awhile now. My desire to have such coat has just increased since my new obsession. sweatdrop
