Kingdom Hearts - Blades of Three Realms

Roveth looked up from his own misery a moment, sighing a bit "... ever since he found himself on a world that was not his own, and the first world he ended up on was not Traverse Town. so honestly, it's been years he's been pushing people away, even after he's inherently been helping people out like you've no doubt seen on your travels with him Crystal." he sighed, closing his eyes "not to mention the first time he ended up on a dying world... a fire that blazed so bright and yet so black.. it ate away at -all- life, indiscriminately." he said, shaking his head with a shudder "he felt.. broken, at seeing such tragedies, that he got it into his head he'd seek justice.. he'd become the sword that protects the weak..." he said twitching an eyebrow "sorry.. it's just.. every time he talks about himself like some object... it pisses me off..."


Shiro of course, continued to squirm and wriggle, before narrowing his eyes, finally having had enough. ~My Body.... is definitely... made of Blades.~ he said to himself in a chant, before the gun fired in his head, and with major discomfort, his skin and various other places started becoming razor edged, much like a steel blade, and starting to poke out ready to impale the bald one if he didn't let go soon enough.

"Eep!" Aang immediately let go of Shiro when he felt the first p***k of those blades, managing to avoid being too severely injured. "That's weird. You feel like you have the skin of a porcupine monkey. It's a neat trick though," the danger did nothing to dissuade Aang's smiling face of course.


"You're not alone on that one, Roveth," Crystal frowned. "I get mad just thinking he's thinking about himself like an object instead of a person. Anyway, it does make me wonder what changed his mind about pushing me away when we met considering I don't remember him putting up much of a protest about us sticking together to travel to other worlds and all that."

"Not that you would have let him push you away if he had tried," Roxas pointed out. "You don't have it in you to turn your back on someone who is suffering and in need of help. And on top of that you're exceedingly stubborn too."

"... and now it feels like he just did something stupid and dangerous," Crystal felt the twinge of Shiro's prana being activated as he defended himself against the overly affectionate Avatar Aang. Crystal was on her feet and immediately headed for the door to get outside to make sure Shiro hadn't killed himself doing whatever it was he had just done.

"There's never a dull moment with this bunch, is there?" Isa of course spoke to Lea given that Roxas and Xion weren't far behind Crystal and Roveth would likely follow as well.

Shiro of course would focus hard, using a clear vision of his reality marble properly contained to push back the swords out of his body, thankfully he knew how to handle using it, but he knew more than likely he was about to be yelled at "there is such a thing as -personal space- yanno." he said giving off a cold glare at aang, now having a clear different target of said anger to vent on that he hadn't exactly realized Crystal was on her way out.


Roveth however sighed as he got up, shaking his head "if i have a feeling of what it is..." he muttered, trying to at least get back neutral in emotions so Shiro doesn't see him worrying and all, while axel sighed, looking to Isa with a tired smile "nope. in fact, if it's ever quiet for more than a few days, fully expect someone to come out of the woodworks to kidnap Shiro or Crystal." he said, sighing "happened twice already, once was Xehanort as you know, the second was some odd clown guy named Kefka, kidnapped Shiro and left Crystal freaking out so much she was having a mental breakdown until Riku, Roxas and i think Roveth calmed her down enough to focus.. of course once Wolfwood showed up he nearly got his head taken off by Roveth given he was on a hair-trigger after Shiro's kidnapping."

Aang yelped and ducked behind a nearby tree. "But you were unhappy!" Aang protested. "And it felt like you could use a hug!"

Crystal shook her head as she reprimanded Aang. "Look, Shiro doesn't like it when other guys touch him, even more-so than he dislikes being touched in general. And he's really not the hugging type either."

Roxas raised a concerned eyebrow because he saw the last of the swords that retracted into Shiro's body. "What the heck did you do to yourself anyway?"

"It looked painful," Xion added having caught a glimpse of it too.

Crystal glanced down at Shiro. "You know you shouldn't do that to yourself, even in self-defense. The slightest mistake and using that technique might kill you on the spot."


"It sounds like Shiro is at far greater risk than Crystal is in that regard," Isa was skeptical that kidnapping Crystal would even be beneficial enough for anyone to want to risk it. Particularly now that it would not only make Shiro and Roveth deeply upset, but it would also provoke action from Roxas as well. And it was probably safe to assume that Lea wouldn't let such a thing slide either. "Is there some special reason someone might want to kidnap Crystal?" He hadn't been told yet that Crystal was along with being displaced in time also apparently a princess as she had kept that detail to herself after the whole fiasco with Roveth's teasing at the mere mention that she'd grown up in a castle.

Shiro just continued glaring at Aang with clear annoyance on his face "i may have been unhappy, but that's exactly why i left, to -calm down-." he said, while turnign to Address Roxas and Xion "it's not something i'm proud of, as it's only meant as a minute defense at best... but.. if i ever let go of my control of my Reality Marble.. that would probably start what you just saw. i can forcefully control it, but basically what i do is internalize my Reality Marble inside my body, therefore making my body 'literally' out of blades." of course, roveth frowned, walking outside at that time "and like crystal said, Extremely dangerous and potentially fatal." Shiro of course chose to ignore Roveth's annoyed glare "yeah, it is a little uncomfortable, but the pain i feel from using it is nothing i'm sure to the pain that others have felt during their suffering." he said, trying to wave it off nonchalantly while looking to Aang once more "trust me, hugs aren't something i need when i'm angry."


Axel of course looked to Isa, pondering how to say this "well... it's really not my place to say given it involves Crystal's past, but if she tells you, then it means she trusts you, but there -would- be something that Vexen, Zexion, and even Xehanort would be intrigued about her." he said vaguely, not about to spill the details to Isa on Crystal's past without her permission and all.

"Is that supposed to be like metal bending?" Aang was entirely clueless to this whole conversation, obviously.

"Metal, what?" Roxas definitely didn't know what Aang was talking about.

"Yeah, I think we're going to need an explanation of what that is before we can make a valid comparison," Crystal agreed.

And so would begin to the long spiel about the world of Bending Harmony and the powers of elemental bending, complete with demonstrations of each of the basic types from the Avatar himself.

Once the explanation was over, Crystal would of course say, "No, it's not like metal bending at all."

"It sounds like this world has a very rich history though," Xion observed thoughtfully. "And those bending abilities do sound pretty amazing."

"You don't think maybe we could manage to learn how to do it?" Roxas also wondered about this bending ability that was apparently unique to this world in particular.

"It sounds like it's something you need to have an innate affinity for, but there's nothing to say we don't have the potential to try it," Crystal agreed with some amusement.

Shiro had been watching with Structual Grasping, not to mimic the movements exactly, but more to find out why the moves felt so familiar, but he did let his eyes dim "i see... very interesting... the movements of each bending style remind me of certain modern day martial arts on other worlds, only this one adds in elemental manipulation with their inner Chi guiding the elements, via the martial arts stances." he said, looking very intrigued about it, while Roveth crossed his arms, clearly thinking on it "sounds useful if you have no weapons, or aren't a walking weaponry like Shiro here." he said while Shiro rolled his eyes "yes yes, i know i have a powerful double-edged weapon in my own soul, give it a -rest- Roveth..." Roveth deadpanned at Shiro "No i will not." Shiro would think about glaring at his dark half, bnut then remembered something "speaking of elements... i noticed you used all of them i think you mentioned... Aang was it? is everyone capable of utilizing all the bending styles?"

"Actually, no, only the Avatar can use and master all four elements," Aang answered while grinning hugely and trying not to look too boastful.

Just one element per bender, then, Crystal supposed that made sense and she was glad she hadn't caused any confusion by showcasing her own magic quite yet. It would probably be best to keep that under wraps throughout their stay here then.

"So, then, the Avatar must be pretty famous," Xion realized not realizing how badly this was going to expand Aang's already wildly unstable ego.

Crystal went into a small meditative trance, feeling out her own chi and trying to discern which element she herself might have an affinity for. As it turned out it wasn't too difficult to discern as almost immediately she began to feel the wind swirling around her in a subtle fashion. This inevitably gave her an idea. A terrible, awful, horribly brilliant idea. She made a spiral motion with both hands before launching one fist forward into the created spiral to send a small tornado vortex in Roveth's general direction. "Hiryuu Shoten Ha, Kaiteiban: Gedan Rasen! Flying Dragon Ascension Strike, Revised: Horizontal Spiral!" It was of course smaller than the actual technique, being it was actually just a spiraling vortex of air and not one produced by an interaction between strong temperature differentials, but the effect would be more or less the same. Roveth was very likely about to be blown away without mercy.

"That was fast," Roxas looked on as Roveth finally received his punishment for all the earlier teasing. At least, he assumed that was the reason he had been targeted so very specifically.

"It's a technique I borrowed from someone else," Crystal admitted. "Although this is a very different method of performing it."

Roveth of course went flying in a 'wheeee!' type motion while spinning, before falling hard back to the ground, having a @.@ 'oro?' face, but he did shakily hold up a finger saying "worth it!" afterwards, even as a large column of flames errupted from his general area charbroiling him and leaving him coughing out a much-needed puff of smoke.

Shiro of course sighed, knowing who did that to Roveth he just ignored it for now while shaking his head, before at least trying to keep focused on things "anyway... aside from the hug thing which i'm still leery about you for." he said giving Aang a pointed look "i did notice you were giving me odd looks before, why is that?" he asked out of curiosity and all.

"I dunno," Aang shrugged while still smiling widely. "The air around you just seems... huh, how do I put it? Well, it tastes giddy and excited like you're just overflowing with chi or something. So, I got kinda curious. I thought maybe you were like me or something. I mean, you come from another world right? And places like that might have other Avatars."

"Looks like Axel is getting his payback now too," Roxas noted as Roveth went up in flames. He was a little surprised afterward when Crystal actually tossed a Potion in Roveth's direction. Just a regular little Potion. Nothing special, but it was still going to heal him of some of his injuries. "Am I missing something?"

"Well, I do kinda owe him one," Crystal shrugged. "His methods are rude and uncalled for, but I think his intentions were probably in the right place. Well, as much as can be expected from Roveth."

"Still, you picked up on this world's techniques really quickly," Roxas pointed out. "And you definitely hit him with that on purpose."

"He wouldn't have been satisfied to escape without punishment," Crystal chuckled. "Sometimes I think Roveth might be a bit of masochist."

Xion was of course listening in on the exchange between Shiro and Aang, wondering if there might be something to what the Avatar was suggesting about Shiro. Even after the conversation inside the tea shop there was still a lot of mystery surrounding Shiro after all.

Shiro had pondered the explanation, given he was fully paying attention, and he knew the elements, he would mentally look inside himself, before opening his eyes, sighing "i think i know what might cause it, and you might be right, i might be." he said while leaning over to whisper to Crystal '7th Element Resonance' before rubbing his chin " though Bending seems interesting, i've never really studied martial arts forms before as i'm more of a weapon user than anything." he said with a small smile.

Roveth of course caught the potion without even saying anything, popped it open, and drank it down, glad for the help on the injuries given he may have a regeneration factor in some cases he did need a boost to get it going "thanks." he said while standing up as he cracked his neck a bit "and i'm not a masochist, i just believe that it's fair to let people get free hits on me if i do manage to embarrass them or otherwise offend them, nothing wrong with that, is there Ojou-sama?" he said with amusement in his tone.

"I could maybe teach you a bit, but right now I should probably get back to work," Aang smiled and dashed off back toward the tea shop. He was still on the clock after all.

"He's awfully energetic, isn't he?" Xion commented as they watched him speed off like that.

"Kinda like Sora, but I think this guy might be even more hyper," Roxas agreed.

Crystal was scowling at Roveth. "Oh come on, how is it sporting if you let me hit you?"

"Still, as much as I am curious to see if we can actually learn some of these bending forms, I guess it's probably for the best that he's busy right now, since I'm still a bit sore from our Solar Sailing competition," Roxas pointed out.

Crystal nodded. "We're gonna sleep real good tonight. Speaking of which, it seems pretty clear out and the weather seems nice so maybe we'll camp outside beneath the stars for a change."

Roveth just narrowed his eyes, reading between the lines all too easy and just scoffed "fine then, you want me as hostile as i am on enemies, you got it, just don't be surprised when you won't like the consequences." he said coldly, before walking off to be alone at the moment, moving past a confused Shiro and Shiroi Senko as her disappeared into the nearby trees, needing to be away from everyone.

Shiro of course just blinked, and scratched his head in confusion at his dark half, wondering what's got him eat up and all, given he could tell the underlying anger, but there was something else too... he just shook his head, and sigh "... this is all too damn confusing." he mumbled to himself while looking to the skies "... some stargazing might be nice to have, honestly."

Roveth would keep his silence until crystal was done, not even sparing her a glance until every last word was said, before he'd look right into crystal's eyes, showing he was dead serious with about what he has to say "if i hated you, i would've taken Shiro away from the group the -moment- i was created by Xehanort, to the fathest reaches of the universe where -NO ONE- could harm my light." he said calmly, while looking at Crystal "the only thing i want is for Shiro to be safe, and that means even from himself, that's why i've never said anything about Shiro's past until now, because if he's forced to relive it then even i cannot predict what he will do with these eyes of mine." he said, pointing to his yellow eyes "that's why i was as blunt as i was about telling your Feelings of Roxas to him, because if you didn't get yourself together, you might've said or done something that'd cause my light pain, he truly does care for you, not in the sense that you loved him originally, he sees you like an older sister wanting to protect him, and he's fine with that. the moment you betray that, the moment you say anything that may break him emotionally, is the moment i cannot predict what he wil do.. no.. that's not true, i -know- what he will do, and root forsake it THAT is what i hate the most, knowing what he will become the moment he breaks. you've seen the image in his reality marble right?" he turned, looking at the sky "... that man... is what Shiro will become if he's truly alone. a man, battered, broken, and betrayed, that he will carry out his ideals to the bitter end, and in his regret.. make a deal with the 'Spirit' of Humanity, just to save people... and become what's known as a Counter Guardian. and then he will be forced, even after death, to kill, destroy, so on, until there's nothing more left of him personality wise. a cold, heartless, machine. it's what Sephiroth saw in him and wanted to bring out using that darkness he put inside Shiro, it's partly what Xehanort wanted, most likely, so he could manipulate Shiro into being a puppet for the stupid X-blade creation, and what i hate most of all..." he looked right back to Crystal "is that there is nothing i can do to personally stop him, to interfere, to get him off this path. he's been opening up, yes, but eventually it will be his own ideals which will either push him away from others, fearing his trouble magnet status will put them in more harm than anything, or they will push him away, fearing what would happen should the dangers escalate with him around. and that is what will make that image become reality. so no, i do not hate you, Axel ,Isa or Saix or whoever he's called, Roxas, Xion, or even the moogle or Chocobo... i hate -MYSELF- for not being able to help my own light. that's why i told myself i will do -anything- to protect him, even if it means considering everyone a threat with these eyes of mine and determine when i should take him away, because that is all i -can- do."
