Delta: Upfront Doomed Gate (18-26)

[GCD Wavemaster]

Xikar rushes in, and runs toward the beast's mouth, avoiding being chomped on he leaps onto it head and starts slicing. The lizard tries to throw him off, but he grabs onto the spikes in her head to steady himself.  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

Bo watched Xikar, not quite sure what to do. He tried to decide what spell to use, waiting for Xikar to be out of the way.

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

Xikar braced himself as the beast tossed its head about. Making a hand sign to activate an ability, as the creature launched him into the air, he placed he swords to his side like wings. Reaching the highest point of his jump he began to fall, with a fiery aura around him. Preparing to stab the beast with his Meteor Strike. The beast moved and hit Xikar into a wall, all the momentum followed leaving his HP almost gone (5 points left).

"Attack now!"  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

"Right! Krake Pha!" The Krake blasted at the lizard.

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

The lizard was hit hard, and went into the water. Its back spikes swimming above the water, like a shark waiting for its food.

Xikar used a potion and recovered to a quarter of his health.

"Its probably preparing a larger attack. Can you deal that attack again or do you need to charge up again?"  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

"I can do it about two more times if needed." Bo looked from Xikar to the lake, watching the spikes of the lizard.

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

Xikar dragged himself up.

"Well that's good we'll probably need them" The water surrounding them began to bubble.

"Get ready I think its about to use its major attack"  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

"I'm ready.. What about you? Will you be okay?"

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

"I'll be fine, I have my speed"

The Lizard rose out of the water, and shot a very large and condense stream of water, the boulders that got caught up were destroyed instantly. The beam was heading towards Bo. Xikar ran forward, crossing his blades.

"Cross-Blade barrier" A large translucent barrier appeared in front of Xikar and Bo stopping the water.

"I don't how long I can hold this see if can find a weak spot (location up to you)."  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

He nodded quickly, summoning a Krake behind the lizard. "Krake Pha!" Blasting the lizard, it did a critical, decreasing it's health by half.

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

"Its tail" he thought to himself.

The lizard stopped attacking with the stream and turned around to see what attacked it.

Xikar dashed in and struck the tail in a long series of combination attacks. The final attack caused the beast to lose its health. The beast started rampaging through the area.

"Its trying to take us out with it"  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

"Great.." Bo ran out of the way, getting behind one of the loose rocks.

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

The roars of the beast could be heard throughout the caverns. It rampage slowly stops and it falls to the ground, turning gray and disappearing, with a treasure chest appearing in its place.

"Well that was interesting, you ok?" He walked towards Bo.  

[Shuuhei-sempai]

Bo stood up, dusting himself off quickly as he nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay."

 

[GCD Wavemaster]

"Well lets see what we won" Xikar walked over to the chest, and opened, inside was a rare mythril staff.

"Well this moderately rare, I mean for this dungeon its something.....though I found it strange the monsters were challenge for us, this dungeon is pretty low for our levels. Very strange....I'm wondering if I should put this in my final report....oh, know anybody who needs a staff?"
