Roveth pondered it, rubbing his chin lightly while thinking over the various training regimes he could put Hayner through to get him ready for the struggle tournament. sure he'd need some info gathering, but hearing Olette remind them Seifer's probably preparing for the tournament too he frowned "quick question or two: do you guys know a place we can do this training in secret, and how much pull does Seifer have with the actual tournament as champion, as can he force others to participate or at least sign up? i know you said he's been trying to get Crystal to join in, but given what i know of her, shes' not the type to display her skills in public and show off like that, so it's a moot point in trying to get her.. however if he's -still- sore about my 'harmless' prank, i wouldn't put it past him that he might enter Shiro, my light half, just to try and beat him up to get to me." he said, narrowing his eyes, but giving off a fanged smirk "if he does, i might have to ask a favor of you Hayner and while not throw the fight against Shiro if he is against you, but at least try to not anger him too much, because if the switch is flipped in this tournament.. it'd be best to prepare for a definite beating." he said, as he kept his narrowed eyes, but still smirked regardless.. oh if Seifer -does- do what Roveth's thinking he might do.. hehehehehehehehee... may the gods have mercy on him, because Shiro will -not-.

Shiro sighed, pondering it a moment "knowing how Seifer thinks, especially when his pride has been flushed down the toilet like that, he will have a -long- lasting grudge against Roveth, and from what i've at least observed, he will probably do everything he can to make him pay, even if it means using me to get to him." he shrugged, but chuckled "staying in main street's a good idea as long as we don't attract too much attention to ourselves, maybe we can get some ice-cream?" he said, shrugging a bit with a smile, showing he was at least offering something to do and all.

"Well, if you're any good with computers, there's a secret laboratory in the basement of the old mansion outside of town," Pence explained. "No one has used the place in a while, but the datascape includes a simulated virtual version of the town. It might even be possible to convert the program into a training arena."

"As for Seifer being champion, he doesn't really have too much leverage over the tournament, but since entry is established by putting names on a list he could put someone else's name down to try to coerce them into fighting," Hayner admitted. "He tried that a few times with that girl, Crystal, but she wouldn't take the bait and forfeited every time. Seifer got pretty mad about that, but he cooled off once he found himself a new target to vent his frustrations on. That must have been around the time he met Shiro. And no worries, I'm an honest fighter. As long as he's fighting fair and square I won't complain if I lose."

"Hayner doesn't really care if he wins," Olette pointed out. "He just really loves to compete."

"Definitely," Xion nodded. "That should be no problem at all." With that she would accompany Shiro into the town proper to go hit up the famous ice cream shop. Just like Axel and Roxas, Xion knew right where to find it too.

User ImageThe fact that Roxas and Crystal were getting awfully cozy on top of Sunset Hill didn't go completely unnoticed. Seifer, along with Fujin and Raijin in accompaniment, was on his evening patrol of the town just like always. Seifer might have left the two alone except for the fact that he very quickly recognized Crystal and became irrationally annoyed at seeing her back in town again.

"Okay, lovebirds, where is that spineless wimp of a friend of yours?" Seifer demanded.

"Get lost Seifer," Roxas retorted not wanting to deal with Seifer's commanding attitude right now.

"And leave Shiro out of your personal vendetta against me while you're at it," Crystal added with understandable contempt directed at Seifer.

Seifer shrugged. "Too late for that. I've already signed him up for the upcoming Struggle Tournament. I just need to let him know he's going to be competing whether he likes it or not. But, I might change my mind if you decide to enter."

"No thanks," Crystal responded. "Maybe it'll get through that thick head of yours once Shiro has beaten you into a human-shaped bruise that we're way out of your league and we've been doing you a favor by not competing."

"Suit yourself," Seifer smirked a bit. "But it'll be your friend's loss in the tournament. And if that other jerk-face shows up I'll just have to pound him too."

"Are you done?" Roxas was considering getting up to reassert the fact that Seifer wasn't welcome here right now.

"That all depends on whether or not you can tell me where that spineless wimp is hiding," Seifer persisted.

"Do you really expect us to have any idea?" Crystal stared hard at Seifer with obvious annoyance. "We came out here to get away from everyone to have some time to ourselves, genius, not to entertain your immature desperation for payback." She held up one hand, idly flicking through the element grid as it appeared and selected her long neglected Level 7 technique. "Have fun in the Bottomless Pit!"

The ground opened up forming a hole beneath the three Disciplinary Committee members that swallowed them into the ground before closing up after them. Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin would all fall out of the sky an instant later to come crashing down in the middle of the Sandlot back in Twilight Town proper. The three would be dazed and stunned for at least a little while, but it also put them much closer to where Shiro and the others were currently situated.

"What did you do to them?" Roxas had to ask although he did fall back laughing, taking Crystal down with him, at the priceless look of dumbfounded indignation that appeared on Seifer's face when it happened. Fujin and Raijin just looked surprised more than anything before they were swallowed up along with Seifer. "And did you see the look on his face?"

"They were seriously bugging me so I dropped them someplace else," Crystal stated simply. "Of course, now I'll have to recharge my element grid before I can do it again. Still, I'd say that was totally worth it because it did in fact get rid of them." Crystal then rolled around to face Roxas, basically pinning him to the hillside for the moment. "Now then, where were we?" she posed the question to Roxas while she settled in and got comfortable again.

"I'm pretty sure we were admiring the sunset, but right now I'm thinking of something else," Roxas took that as a rather blatant invitation for him to tug her down so he could kiss her. He seemed to be on the right track because Crystal didn't put up any resistance and kissed him back.

Seifer and his gang were long since forgotten by that point.

Roveth raised an eyebrow a moment before getting a smile on his face as he pondered over the possibilities of this system "that i could indeed, in fact i could make it into something even -more- for our group to use when we're not off to other places." he said with a smile "let's go check this mansion out though i will say this, if we see anything strange, stick close to me, i'll be sure to protect you guys." he said, while hoping that Shiro was not really going to be in the Struggle tournament, but odds are his deductions were usually pretty true when it comes to dealing with Shiro's danger Magnet.

Shiro meanwhile would at least follow Xion's directions since she knew Twilight Town better than he did, though he was using his eyes to at least store away and keep direction info of where places were from Axel's place so he knew where places were on the main streets and towards where Roveth probably was. once they got to the ice cream shop Shiro would at least pony up the money for ice cream, whatever Xion would want, and not just relying on Sea-Salt ice-cream this time since he'd rather let Xion have her choice, his own though he'd order a triple scoop cone of mint chocolate chip, Peanut butter brownie, and Butter Crunch (Basically butter-finger pieces and small caramel stripes within vanilla ice cream) for his, since he was pretty hungry and all.

"Nothing too strange has happened by the mansion since Sora, Donald, and Goofy cleared out those weird things that had the whole town under siege so it's probably fine," Hayner pointed out. "What did they call those things again?"

"Nobodies," Pence reminded him. "But yeah, nothing like those has been spotted in town in quite some time now."

"They were pretty scary though," Olette had to admit.

As they left the Usual Spot to start making their way toward the mansion in the woods outside of town they would be greeted by the sight of Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin all plummeting from the sky into the Sandlot up ahead.

"I think they just lost another match to that girl again," Hayner suggested as he had a good laugh over how freaked out the three had looked before they hit the ground.

"It does look like her handiwork," Pence agreed. "Rumor has it she might be a sorceress or something, but no one really knows for sure. She usually takes off before anyone has a chance to ask her."

"I dunno, she seemed pretty normal the last time we saw her when she and Shiro showed up to call off Roveth's prank assault on Seifer," Olette pointed out. "And wasn't she with Roxas that time? He's a nice guy who doesn't generally go looking for trouble with Seifer's gang so it was a little surprising to see them together, but Crystal didn't exactly run off in a hurry once Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin took off."

"Oh yeah, I hadn't really thought about that," Pence admitted. "But you're right, it was a little surprising. Roxas used to keep mainly to himself so it's a little unusual that he could keep up with such a high energy girl like that."

"I don't know anything about that," Hayner shrugged. "I was way more interested in the utter humiliation that had been inflicted upon Seifer."

And so they continued heading for the mansion.

Xion did decide to try something other than the usual sea-salt ice cream and opted for the rather amusing looking Goofy Parfait which looked to be as colorful as it was probably delicious. And, as it turned out, the ice cream shop was having a special promotion right now.

"Right now all customers receive a special keychain," the shop keeper explained before handing one each of the ice cream themed keychains to both Xion and to Shiro. The keychains in question very definitely looked to be Keyblade compatible.

"Well, we should probably let the others know about this if they haven't heard about it already," Xion realized before taking her ice cream from the shopkeeper as well. As she started in on it she thought she heard some voices yelling off in the distance (the sound of Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin falling from the sky to plummet into the Sandlot), but shrugged it off so-as to enjoy her ice cream while continuing to walk around Main Street with Shiro.

User ImageCrystal eventually slid off to the side so that she could roll onto her back to resume looking up at the sky. She didn't go far though as she was still well within reach for Roxas to have an arm around her.

"I guess I was wrong before when I said I didn't have a place to call home," Crystal admitted quietly. "Twilight Town is really more like home to me than the world I originally came from. I don't have an apartment or a house or anything like that, but I've explored this world more than anywhere else and it's one place I keep coming back to. When there isn't anywhere that urgently needs my help and I can't think of where else to go, I come back here. Radiant Garden comes close too, but I don't really want to have Leon hassling me all the time."

"But you can put up with Seifer's nonsense?" Roxas chuckled a bit.

"Seifer is an awful lowlife, but he isn't going to ruin this place for me," Crystal stated firmly. "Especially not now that I have you with me."

"You know, you always have a place here with me," Roxas admitted with a gentle smile. "Not that I plan on letting you leave me behind ever again."

"Okay, if I ever try to pull something that stupid ever again, assume I've been brainwashed and that someone is going to have to smack some sense into me," Crystal responded with a slight grimace. "There is no way that's going to happen unless I'm somehow no longer myself." After that Crystal relaxed again. "It still surprises me a little that it seems so easy for the two of us to be together like this. For some reason I thought it would be harder or that it might not work out at all. But you know, sometimes it pays to be proven wrong."

"It surprised me too, at first, because I really didn't know what to expect from being around you," Roxas admitted. "But you've been straightforward and honest with me from the start. You don't know all the answers and you were a bit weird when you were trying to suppress your feelings, but like I said before, that just made you more cute whenever you were letting your guard down. I'm really happy that you feel safe letting your guard down with me."

Crystal smiled a bit at that. "Well, I like to see you happy. You have a great smile." She sat up and gave herself a good stretch. "Okay, this spot is nice and cozy, but if we stay here too much longer I'm gonna fall asleep. How about we start heading back and maybe grab a bite to eat along the way?"

"Sounds like a plan," Roxas was definitely way more calm about this whole arrangement than when they had started.

They got on their feet and started walking back toward the section of town in Sunset Terrace.

Roveth nodded as he hummed a bit lightly "well, let's be careful regardless, there might still be Nobodies about in the mansion." he said calmly enough, summoning up Lockdown as a reflex as he followed along behind everyone as they continued to Gossip, the rumors on Crystal just made Roveth laugh though "i will admit she does know a lot of magic, but she's not the type to play 'sorceress' and all, to me she's a Princess in Denial." he said sticking his tongue out playfully while smirking, but as they got closer to the mansion he'd grip Lockdown and start to look more focused and watching out for any Nobodies while they headed for this lab inside the mansion.

Shiro would nod as he continued licking his own cone as he put the keychain away, though he had plans on testing it out eventually on some heartless or nobodies later on "yeah, plus they'll get sweet treats for themselves, what's not to love? though getting in contact with Wolfwood before promotion ends will be a bit tough." he said, giving off a hum in thought as he ate his cone and all, having not heard noises in the sandlot or anything, and even if he did, he'd chalk it up to Seifer whining about his dark half and all.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 26, 2016 3:18 pm
"Really? A princess, huh? I'm not sure I see it," Hayner responded with a shrug. "I mean, I guess you must know her a bit better than we do, but she doesn't really look it."

"But you don't know. I mean, what if it's true?" Pence was eating up the gossip exactly as delivered. "Wouldn't that be something?"

"It sure would," Olette agreed. "After all, for a little while there she was going to the same school as us."

As they traveled deeper into the mansion the atmosphere became slightly more ominous as several Dusks and Creepers did appear, but they were relatively few in number and would be easily dispatched by Roveth. There didn't appear to be any higher ranked Nobodies in the vicinity though.

Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin were unconscious for all of a few minutes before they recovered to find themselves having been displaced all the way from Sunset Hill to the Sandlot. Seifer was more angry, if anything, while his two cronies did appear to have enough sense to seem a little bit wary. Nevertheless, the two followed Seifer up to Market Street and eventually happened upon Shiro and Xion still indulging in their ice cream treats.

"Well if it isn't the spineless wimp," Seifer cheered up immensely upon having this opportunity to mock Shiro. "Just so you know, I've taken the liberty of signing you up for this weekend's Struggle Tournament. If you don't show everyone in town will know what a humongous coward you are so I wouldn't miss it if I were you."

"What a creep," Xion hadn't had the misfortune of becoming acquainted with Seifer before and she already didn't like him.

"Hm? I guess you must be new in town," Seifer paused as if struggling to decide whether he should lay off the new girl or give her a hard time for being in Shiro's company. Ultimately, he decided to back off, for now. "Do yourself a favor and find yourself some better company than that worthless loser."

"Let me guess... this must be the infamous Seifer I keep hearing about," Xion could easily deduce that much from the guy's unpleasant fascination with Shiro. "I can see why you wanted to avoid him."

"Still trying to hide, huh? You really are a pathetic wimp," Seifer just kept running his mouth all the while smirking. "I haven't been able to find that jerk-face who was with you the last time you were in town, but if I find him he's gonna be in for a piece of my mind too."

Roveth would definitely slay the Dusks and Creepers without issue since he fought Nobodies much like heartless only with help of course but at the moment once they got to the appropriate room, Roveth would move over to the consoles, sit down, and began to work typing out commands and everything beginning to try and ascertain the structure of the digital version of Twilight Town with a hum and such, looking for any and every security walls to go through and fix, so on.

Shiro meanwhile had stopped once more, sighing as he had at least finished the majority of his cone by the time the idiot decided to show up before he devoured the rest, suffered brain freeze for a few moments, before turning to look at Seifer with a deadpan "finding my Dark half is a bad idea you filthy delinquent, cause you will lose against him every time." he said calmly enough, but apparently the loser and wuss comments were annoying the hell out of him to no end "besides, i have no reason to fight you despite the fact you seem so damn adamant about fighting either Roveth or Crystal when quite plainly they told you no, the same answer i will say to you and your petty grudges: No, i'm not joining said tournament. now leave." he said, turning, and about to walk off without even bothering to lay a hand on Seifer, though if he says the one nickname he hates from that a*****e "yeah, he is a bit of a jerk, kind-of why i was hoping he'd leave me -alone- today."

User ImageRoxas followed Crystal's lead when it came to finding a place to eat. Roxas knew his way around Twilight Town just fine from all the missions he'd done chasing Heartless around every nook and cranny, but that didn't exactly translate into being an expert on all the local hot spots. He didn't really branch out much from the places he was familiar with or that were recommended to him by Axel. It was no wonder Axel worried about him, Roxas realized. He was such a creature of habit he very rarely came up with anything new to try on his own.

Crystal, on the other hand, seemed to have her own stomping grounds and was of a mind to show them off. First there was a Takoyaki vendor, then there was the Okonomiyaki stall, and finally there was a cozy little Ramen shop that she swore was the best Ramen shop in town. Roxas was a little bit overwhelmed at first and was glad that he was exploring these new venues with Crystal because he honestly had no idea places like this even existed before today. One thing he did learn from all of this was that Crystal had pretty good taste in food. Some of her choices might have seemed a bit weird, but that only proved she was willing to try practically anything with the only real exception being she avoided stuff that sounded like it might be too spicy for her tastes. She could power through any of the sweet stuff though.

At the very least, Roxas couldn't deny that he was having fun. And Crystal seemed to be having a good time too.

Pence would have helped Roveth with gaining access to the simulated town via knowing the password, but after that he let Roveth take over to see what he could do with it. It looked like the few Dusks and Creepers that Roveth had eliminated were all there were as no more seemed to be appearing to replace them for the time being.

"Spoken like a true chicken-wuss," Seifer responded with a smirk. Oh yes, he went there. Oh boy was he about to be in for a world of hurt.

Xion could see quite plainly that this guy didn't know when to quit.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 26, 2016 5:07 pm
Roveth would gladly accept the help, and once he got in, he'd at least go over cursory things, before frowning a bit seeing a clear problem inside the second Twilight town "damn, looks like there's still a few Corridors of Darkness that need to be closed and sealed before i can secure the Twilight Town." he said, getting up and setting up the entrance and all "be right back you three" he said, and was about to walk in when a very powerful wave of presence and killing intent could be felt in the direction of town, and he knew exactly who it was "oh s**t... Seifer must've found Shiro..." he muttered, before shaking his head and quickly heading into the virtual Twilight Town to go deal with those Corridors first.

Shiro meanwhile had taken about 5 steps as if about to continue spending his time with Xion when the dreaded taboo nickname had been said, causing Shiro to freeze mid step, and his eyes narrowing and starting to glow ominously, as killing intent started pouring off him in waves slowly, before the damn broke, and out it came in a large 'explosion' along with his spiritual presence, he would turn to crane his head back to look at Seifer with cold, dead, and yet sharp, calculating eyes all the same "i thought i told you to never call me by that name again Seifer... fine. you want me in your stupid kiddie tournament... you have my attention now." he said with the cold, sharp as hell and clearly agitated voice, before shiro 'Moved', using raw speed, to suddenly be in front of Seifer, and slamming his foot into the Disciplinary committee leader's chin, to launch him moderately high in the air with the forced viciousness of the kick, before bending down on that one knee still planted, and disappearing once more, appearing behind Seifer and jabbing him in the back with a finger on a certain paralysis point, before rolling off towards the side, and as Seifer fell... Shiro would whirl around and slam his fist right in Seifer's face, sending him in a wheel-like spin, before joining his foot once more to the chin, to send him rocketing back down to the ground to plant the b*****d's head in it with a bit of a small crater, and making sure that the body was staying vertical with that, once he did, he would land, and crack his knuckles menacingly towards Fujin and Raijin "tell him i accept and get him out of my sight before he becomes a statistic." he said with a sharp lashing of his viciously cold tongue.

Suffice to say, Shiro's wave of presence and killing intent could be felt by Hayner, Pence, and Olette as well, although they weren't as informed as Roveth about what exactly it was they were feeling.

"Oh man, that was intense," Hayner had to admit as Roveth finally disappeared into the virtual Twilight Town.

"I'm glad we're in here and not out there," Pence added. "I'm not so sure I want to find out what just happened."

Without so much as a word, a very freaked out Fujin and Raijin would have pried Seifer's head out of the pavement and carried him off back toward the Sandlot. At the very least Seifer wasn't going to be troubling anyone else tonight.

Xion was glad she had managed to finish off her ice cream because she was pretty sure she would have dropped it watching Shiro dish out such violently well-deserved retribution on Seifer. But, it seemed to work because Seifer was out cold and Fujin and Raijin seemed to want nothing more to do with pestering Shiro after that.

"So, you think you're going to need another ice cream to help you cool off?" Xion asked, only half-joking. She was hoping that Shiro would snap out of it on his own and they could try to enjoy exploring more of the town.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 26, 2016 5:37 pm
User ImageWhen they felt Shiro's wave of presence and killing intent, Crystal and Roxas were out walking around Sunset Terrace a little bit more before heading back to the Underground Concourse to use the tunnels to get back to the main part of town.

"Was that... Shiro?" Roxas knew that it was, but he was looking for confirmation because Shiro's presence felt so suddenly volatile.

"Yeah... I think Seifer found him," Crystal answered. "And to get Shiro that mad that quickly he must have used the one nickname Shiro actually takes offense at being called."

"Should we be heading back to make sure it doesn't escalate any further?" Roxas wondered.

"I mean, Shiro should know better than to do anything too extreme, even if it is Seifer we're talking about," Crystal responded. "But we might want to head back that way anyway if we're planning to grab some ice cream."

"Good point," Roxas agreed. "Preferably without having to pry Shiro away from Seifer's mangled body."

"We left him with Xion so hopefully he's remembering to be on his best behavior now that he's gotten that small outburst out of his system," Crystal replied while shaking her head. "One of these days Seifer is going to bite off more than he can chew and he's going to either live to regret it or die a fool's death."

Shiro would watch with glacier cold eyes as the two minions grabbed Seifer and fled, he would take a breath and close his eyes a moment to rein in his spiritual presence and his killing intent, he'll quietly turn away from the small crater he had made using Seifer's body and after opening his now back to normal eyes, he'd look to Xion with a chuckle "might be a good idea even if we're spoiling ourselves with sugar, i definitely need something to cool off with." he said, not minding and also knowing he'll probably not get a second keychain unless there's no limit to them, if that was the case, then he -definitely- wanted two, given he -does- twin wield and all from time to time.

Roveth of course was finishing up sealing the corridors when he got to the last one, the strongest of em, leading right to, from where he could tell, the Castle that Never Was, and frowned, before working like the rest, to absorb the darkness within the corridor to erode and collapse it so he could learn the location at its end, and proceed to focus on patching the data walls up where it was to where it wouldn't be able to be broken in anymore by heartless or nobodies. once that was done, he'd exit the digital Twilight Town and start getting back to the work at the console, getting a backup save without the Corridors made, and then resetting things to the very beginning in it (meaning Roxas's house is refurnitured, and so is Axel's gear from stealing the furniture store and all "there... almost done re-setting the security and firewalls, once that's done i can start setting up the accuracy, combo, and basic fighting training programs i was thinking of to start with."
