I'm 18, in my first year of vet tech school, and I'm bi. I've been aware of my sexuality since middle school and, like a freak, I thought I could tell my mom anything. She said I was crazy and we didn't talk about it again.

I've always had deep feelings for my best friend, but it took a few shitty boyfriends for me to really confront those feelings. I came out to her in December 2006 and then we never spoke of it again, until about a week ago.

I finally couldn't contain my feelings and I asked her if she felt more than friendship for me and if she would ever date me. She said yes!! whee

We're technically not in a "relationship". We're just hanging out and trying to get comfortable about our feelings, but I couldn't be happier!

That's almost exactly what had happened to me! Only, when I told her the first time, Decemeber 26th 2006, she said yes then. I couldn't be happier either! We've been dating ever since. heart Congrats!

Welcome ^,^... heh I know what you mean by feeling like "one of the guys" I have so many guy friends it isn't even funny.
