Tifa made the coffee the way he wanted and set the mug down in front of him, making her own with cream and sugar, and serving Kailah's black- Leon was free to make his own as he wished, and leaned her elbows on the bar, sipping her drink.

"Well, may as well have you in on our conversation. We might need all the help we can get for ideas."

"You really don't have to go through all of this trouble..." Kailah sipped her coffee, then looked around at Axel, Tifa, and Leon, her eyes lingering a bit on the last of the three- he seemed a bit intimidating, even if the rest WERE poking fun at him.

Tifa was the one who spoke up, "Of course we don't HAVE to, Kailah. We WANT to. You're going to be here a while considering you were unceremoniously dropped in Radiant Garden. I'm just grateful it WAS here and not somewhere like Port Royal where they hunt vampires like you."

Kailah cringed, obviously having had lived through such an experience, and Tifa continued, "We're here to help in any way we can, but I can't be just slicing my arm open so you can be fed, and from the color draining from your skin tone, I'm sure that wasn't enough anyway."

Another cringe, "You noticed? I didn't want to tell you it wasn't enough because you were so kind."

"Nevermind that. This is a brainstorming session. We just need to find a way to keep you well fed and sustained. What did you do in your world?"

To that question, what little warm blood Kailah had in her system rushed to her cheeks. "It's really embarrassing to say out loud."

"We're all adults here, go on," Tifa encouraged.

Finding her coffee extremely interesting, Kailah explained, "I worked at a bar, sometimes behind the counter, sometimes as the entertainment-" she quickly set her cup down and waved her hands enthusiastically, "not THAT kind of entertainment!" She calmed a bit, "I would play the violin when I wasn't serving drinks. Got lots of tips, and a lot of guys would talk to me- flirt with me." She took a deep breath, and let it out slowly, still avoiding everyone's eyes, "I would take one to a hotel, make it seem like," another gesture, "things happened- you know throwing their shirt and shoes about the room, but in reality I would just drink them until they passed out. When they would wake up, the room would be paid for, and they would leave thinking they just had a really good night... so good that they didn't remember what happened. Kind of a 'win-win' situation."

She took another sip of her coffee. "I know it's not morally ethical, and I'm not proud of it, but a girl's gotta survive somehow. But I take pride in the fact that I don't kill anyone. I don't want to kill anyone."

Tifa frowned hearing her story, then looked to Leon.

Seeing that there weren't any objections to his leaving, Cloud headed upstairs to settle into the room he shared with Tifa. There were separate beds for the both of them, of course, and Cloud would settle into his own to get some sleep before the morning patrol.

Leon listened quietly to Kailah's dilemma while preparing his own coffee, adding just a little bit of cream and sugar to make it more palatable. "Okay, so I guess the main question I should be asking is about how often do you need to feed? If we know that, then we can probably figure out some kind of arrangement to try to accommodate your needs."

"Well, I hope Roxas isn't too worried," Xion pointed out as she finally joined Crystal on the overly large bed.

"Actually, I'm a bit worried about him too," Crystal admitted as she rolled onto her side to stare at the wall. "I know it must seem like it's mainly me needing him because of the visions and bad dreams being such a nuisance, but you know he is a creature of habit so when something disrupts his routine it makes him nervous. And I think us being together has become sort of ingrained as part of that routine. Not that I'm complaining, mind you," she added quickly while rolling back over to face Xion if only to emphasize that she really wasn't making it up. "It surprised me at first, but I'm actually really comfortable with that whole arrangement."

"Well, I think you could be right," Xion sounded thoughtful although there was also a hint of amusement in her voice. "Roxas was really worried when he was supposed to be training at Olympus Coliseum. So worried, in fact, that he was being more reckless than usual just to take his mind off of how much he was worrying about you. But I think he's probably fine for right now. I mean, we're all on the same world and he's only a few doors down so it's not like you're really so far apart."

"I know," Crystal sighed rolling onto her back. "Still, it's not the same as us being side by side so I really do hope he's doing okay."

"That's really sweet," Xion giggled. "Yuffie is totally right about how cute you both are about each other."

Crystal made an indignant noise and hid her face beneath the covers. "Right, well, we should probably try to get to sleep."

Kailah sighed, "Honestly, I function best if it's every day, but I can last as long as three days without any blood... as long as there isn't any strenuous activity involved- like fighting or anything like that."

She looked at Axel, both of her hands holding her cup to her lips, "Sorry you had to find out about me this way. I was trying to hide it from everyone else and you're just kind of... here."

Tifa raised an eyebrow, "Which I'll get to after we settle Kailah's issue." She actually DID want to ask Axel about Shiro... she couldn't exactly ask the person himself, but there was that lingering question about how he's taking his best friend's relationship. She was almost positive it was the two of them until Roxas came into the picture.

But curiosity killed the cat, and she focus on the matter at hand, "So Leon, Kailah, what can we do? I mean..." she frowned, "I suppose I could offer myself, but I'm usually the only one available 24/7 here at 7th Heaven."

"Well, I don't mind pitching in, but since I'm head of security I definitely can't have her draining me daily," Leon pointed out. "I need to be alert to make my regular patrols of the town and Cloud can only do so much to cover for me. And that's only if he's in the mood to do the job." He pressed a hand against his temple with a look of intense concentration. "The only other thing I can think of is maybe we should consult with Cid and Merlin. Between Cid's technical know-how and that cooky wizard's weird blend of magic and science they might be able to come up with something that could help with this predicament. It's probably worth a shot." He nodded to himself. "At the very least it might keep those old coots from going at each other's throats to have a new project to work on."

Kailah's ruby eyes glistened for a brief moment and widened, listening as Tifa agreed with Leon with a "I didn't think of that, that would be a great idea!" But Kailah took a few seconds to take in the information.

She blinked and stared at Leon, an almost dumbfounded expression as she noticed the small things... he was tall, definitely built- a fighter's build, the hair, the eyes... He was obviously smart too, and extremely kindhearted. If she wasn't already blushing from embarrassment, she'd be blushing from how attractive this man was. Oh no... nonono, she couldn't drink him! He was WAY too nice!

"I-" she started, ready to protest the idea when Tifa interrupted her.

"Really, it's perfect. I'll send Cloud in the morning on his patrol to see what they say. Kailah, you'll have nothing to worry about! We'll make sure you're taken care of." Tifa thought for a second, "Speaking of being taken care of, you said you had bar experience?"

"Well yes, but-"

"Great! You're hired. Free room and board, and you can use your tips as extra income. Honestly, it's not that we don't trust you, but we can keep an eye on you for better or worse if you're here."

"But I-" Kailah blinked. That was...way too fast for her to comprehend. "Riiiiiight. So... My first day here, I've met fellow magic users, a princess, an actor with a tail, a bar/tavern owner who is nicer than I've ever met before, and a head of security who is willing to let me feed on him and is trying to find a way for me to not be hungry as often? Not to mention apparently I just got a job without looking for one... is that everything?"

Tifa smiled, refilling Kailah's coffee, "For the most part, yeah. You're welcome."

Kailah still had a confused look about her for a few moments as she sipped her coffee. "So... Leon... erm... when- how do you want to do things?"

Axel had pretty much sipped his coffee while thinking a bit lightly "well, since our new friend here is being hired, i can go check in on Twilight Town right quick to see if i can bug Demyx for something similar to what you played in the past music wise." he said with a thoughtful hum, though catching Tifa's gaze he had a pretty good idea, as he chuckled "let's not forget one of said magic users is also a heavily distorted individual who considers himself a sword of Justice, and is allies with the King of Heroes." he said, while sipping some more coffee "as for what i know on Shiro... well, he's alright with Roxas and Crystal together, from what i know in my teasing and prodding Roxas is that Shiro sees Crystal as a sister he never had, and thus gave Roxas the overprotective older brother treatment, and given his disposition.. let's just say Roxas knows better than to treat Crystal badly." he said while humming "but other than that he's pretty much given Roxas his approval about the relationship, much like he's not going to say anything about your new employee's being a Vampire, i know good and well his Structural Grasping probably caught on to that tidbit." he said lightly "but yeah, i'll do what i can to help as well as long as i'm here in town."

"Well, seeing as letting you do this is probably going to put me out for a while, it should probably be sooner rather than later," Leon considered as he noticed that Kailah was clearly fidgeting about it. "Cloud might be willing to take the morning shift, but I should still try to get out there as soon as I can. Anyway, I guess we can go upstairs to my room if that works for you. That way Tifa doesn't have to carry me up after I pass out, which I'm sure is likely to happen based on that description you gave us earlier. And that should be that. If that's alright with you we can head on up once we're done with this coffee."

"D'aww, that's so sweet!" Yuffie called down from the rafters where she was very pointedly eavesdropping. "Well, if Shiro and Leon have both given Roxas their blessing, then I guess that makes it even more official."

Meanwhile, everyone upstairs would have been starting to drift off to sleep as the night went on. Even Sora and Zidane would have managed to finally tire themselves out as they ran out of conversation topics for the time being. And the next step from there would be for Crystal to track down Sora within the Realm of Dreams. Not a simple feat, but she was fairly confident she could manage to pull it off.

Crystal would find herself in a familiar cityscape of dark rain soaked streets surrounded by enormous skyscrapers. It was the World That Never Was or at least a version of it as remembered by Sora. Crystal was only familiar with the world itself because of one time she had accidentally transported herself there while attempting to utilize a Dark Corridor before she had learned how to properly control them. Demyx might actually remember that incident as he had been sent out to deal with the intruder and Crystal had spent several long hours running circles around him before she attempted to make another Dark Corridor that successfully transported her back to Twilight Town. Honestly, if it had been anyone other than Demyx she might have been in real trouble at the time.

So then the question now was why was the World That Never Was appearing as the current representation of Sora's dreamscape. The answer was fairly obvious. Many things had happened to Sora connected to this world in particular and much of it had been traumatic. There were intense feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, and regret attached to this barren cityscape. There weren't any Heartless and no sign of any Dream Eaters either. Depending on the scope of the dream that Sora was having Crystal might not encounter any of those things at all, but she still needed to find him.

"Why did he have to go someplace so huge?" Crystal muttered to herself as she held one hand up toward the dark and cloud-filled sky. "Come on out, Bahamut!" she called out as the summoning array exploded into view and the King of Dragons emerged as it split open. Bahamut swooped down and landed nearby, bowing down so that Crystal could climb up onto the shoulder of the demonic looking purple-black colored dragon summon. "Let's find Sora," she nodded to him as Bahamut unfurled his enormous wings and took to the sky over the expansive city.

Sora was wandering as though he were lost, chasing after silent phantoms posing as visions of Roxas or Namine or Xion. He would reach out, grasping at them and demanding that they speak to him, but they refused to respond. He was therefore startled and caught totally by surprise when the menacing figure of Bahamut, the Dragon King, slammed down into the street in front of him and actually brought out the Kingdom Key ready to defend himself until Crystal hopped down off the summoned creature and waved at him.

"What are you doing here?" Sora was now merely confused, although he was definitely glad to see a familiar face that didn't seem like it was going to just up and vanish on him.

"I said I would come and find you after we all went to sleep, didn't I?" Crystal reminded him. "Not that you made it easy for me by coming to this world of all the places you could have appeared in."

"So then, right now, we're dreaming?" Sora seemed to grasp that much at least.

"That's right," Crystal confirmed as she dismissed Bahamut. "But we should probably go someplace a bit calmer with nicer scenery to look at so we can talk more easily." She held out her hand, bringing out World's Rift and used it to materialize a small wooden door which she then opened. "Come on, this will bring us into my dreamscape."

And so Sora followed Crystal through the door, which closed and disappeared behind them, onto a wide open grass field divided by a gently flowing stream set beneath a big old oak tree underneath a great big star-filled sky. "What is this place?" Sora wondered. After all, it wasn't anywhere he had ever seen before.

"Like I said, we're in my dreamscape now," Crystal answered. "As for what this place is, I guess the best name for it is the Stargazing Spot. This place used to be real, but here in the dreamscape it's only a reconstruction from my memories of what it used to be like. Just like where we just were wasn't the real version of the World That Never Was. That was a reconstruction based on how you remember it. Anyway, this is my quiet place, a place where I can come to think and also a place where I can always just be myself."

"Okay, but what does any of that have to do with training me?" Sora was still pretty confused.

"Before I can teach you anything I need to try to understand what it is you're going through," Crystal explained. "And the best way to do that is going to be for us to talk it out. But, you don't have to tell me anything if it makes you uncomfortable. I'm sure you've got some questions you've been wanting to ask me too and I'll try my best to answer them so that you can understand what I'm saying."

Sora watched as Crystal went over to climb up onto one of the branches of the big old oak tree before he did the same, mainly because he wanted to see for himself what the view was like from up there. "Okay, I guess there is one thing I've been meaning to ask, but I've never been able to find the right time for it. You came to the Destiny Islands to find Roxas, but then after you got there and you found him you left almost immediately. I know a lot of stuff was going on at the time, but why didn't you want to stay?"

"The truth is I got scared," Crystal admitted as she looked off into the distance. "I went there to find out the truth and to get some closure. I wasn't expecting what happened when I got there. I didn't think I was actually going to get to see Roxas again. I figured meeting you would finally put that out of my mind and I could try to move on once I confirmed that. That isn't what happened though. Roxas reappeared and Namine did too. I didn't know at the time that Cosmos resided within me. I also didn't know that you wanted to meet Roxas too. That wish, that desire, I don't think anything could have happened on its own, but Roxas wanted to exist and so did Namine. Taken together, Cosmos's power resonated with those feelings and she restored their existence. But I didn't know any of that. I thought I must have made some kind of mistake by coming along like that. I didn't think anything like that was supposed to happen. And I didn't want to be responsible for dragging you and your friends into any more trouble than that. That's why I thought I had to leave."

"I guess that kinda makes sense," Sora listened quietly and nodded. "Still, you never gave me a chance to thank you. I was really happy to finally get to meet Roxas in person, even if being around me seemed to really annoy him."

"But you worry, like I did, that he might still disappear one day," Crystal was quick to point out. "Well, Cosmos told me when she finally managed to make contact through my dreams that that isn't going to happen. He's real, made from flesh and blood, just like you or me. The same goes for Namine and Xion. Cosmos was able to bring them back because they all have the desire and the will to exist and to live."

"That's good to know, but I still feel really bad about what happened to all of them," Sora admitted.

"Sora, none of that was even remotely your fault," Crystal reminded him. "We all know that the one to blame for everything that happened is Master Xehanort." Then she smiled. "Even so, the fact that you feel that way is why they were all willing to sacrifice themselves to save you. They trust you and believe in you because you're a good person. And anyway, with me around, we're going to see to it that that never has to happen again. I don't know how exactly we can pull it off, but that's what I want to believe."

"That's something I want to believe too," Sora nodded. "You know, you're a lot more easy going than I would have thought. I didn't think you would be so easy to talk to."

"Hey, I'm the one doing most of the talking here," Crystal actually had to laugh at that. "But, I do kind of understand what it's like to want to keep up appearances in front of your friends so they shouldn't have to worry about you and that's why I could see that you've become sort of a tangled up mess on the inside. And if Riku and Kairi aren't going to call you out on it, you still need someone to talk to. It doesn't have to be me either. If you want, I can take you directly to Roxas. I've already bridged the gap to his dreamscape because my own brother who was still watching over me told me to stop coming here just to be alone all the time."

"That's okay," Sora looked off into the distance where he could definitely just barely make out the shape of the clock tower in Twilight Town. "I think if we went there I would only be bothering him."

Kailah's eyes brightened and she turned to Axel, "You would do that for me? Thank you so, SO much! I mean, even if your friend wasn't able to get the violin, just the thought alone means a lot to me!"

Tifa had a satisfied smirk when he mentioned how Shiro approved of Roxas, then shook her head at Yuffie jumping from the rafters.

"Yuffie, do me solid and stop eavesdropping?" She sighed, but smiled, "Well, while they take care of that," she motioned to Kailah and Leon walking up the stairs, "It's actually really sweet of you to offer your help, Axel. Not to mention the attempt to get the instrument for her. She seemed really excited about it." She leaned against the bar again, resting her elbows on the counter, addressing both Yuffie and Axel, "Also, the vampire part? This stays between us. Kailah didn't seem to want anyone else to know, and although I'm sure no one else minds, just let her tell everyone on her own terms, okay?"

Tifa thought for a moment, something still obviously on her mind, "Do you think that now he's back in town, I should ask Zidane to patrol with Leon? I know he can normally go at it alone, but we don't know how he's going to feel when he wakes up."

It was hard sometimes being the one to worry about everyone- even if she wasn't being asked to do so.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kailah was nervous. Leon wasn't drunk, he wasn't unaware, and would definitely remember this in the morning. This was not at all what she was used to.

"Um... go ahead and sit on the bed. In a position to fall easily so when you pass out, I can make sure you're comfortable."

Once that was done, she walked up to him, holding his shoulders, speaking quietly, "Tilt your head." A light click was heard near his ear, still whispering, "It'll only hurt for less than a second, and I'll heal you afterwards," then the puncture of sharp points on his neck.

It was over almost as soon as it had started. She healed the wound, then adjusted the sleeping man on his bed- fixing the pillow behind his head and walking towards the door, "Thank you Leon," she whispered again, closing the door behind her.

Kailah felt better- full color on her skin, showing a light olive based tone with her dark hair and features, her lips pink from fresh blood flowing through them, and her eyes bright. She walked back downstairs to Tifa looking up at her.

"He's fine. He's asleep. He'll be out for a bit, and when he wakes up, he just needs plenty of water and food."

She sat with the others, "Axel, right? You said you were going to bug your friend. Does your friend play an instrument too?"

Axel chuckled a bit, sipping his coffee "not a problem, Demyx may be a lazy bum most of the time and tends to run away from most strenuous things and flake on hard work, but one thing that he's passionate about, is music heck, he gets envious as all get go whenever i beat him in a Karaoke-off." he said, looking to Tifa with a grin "also might be an idea: set up a small place for karaoke and make Shiro sing, trust me, it's a treat -no one- should miss, almost as priceless as seeing Roveth do his spectacular shows." he said, while finishing his cup of coffee while Kailah and Leon went to go handle that bit, he stretched a bit lightly "don't worry, if i know shiro, and i myself know.. discretion is the better part of Valor on the topic. be right back a moment." he said, opening up a Corridor of Darkness to head to the Mansion at Twilight Town, and then quickly return with the goods, as oddly enough that b*****d musician -did- have a Violin in stock. so when the stunning woman returned, he'd smile a bit, presenting the violin in it's case onto the bar for her "there you go, one Violin courtesy of Demyx. and yes, he is a musician, in fact, he put out an album not too long ago, not sure if it's started being put public yet though." he said, sitting down with a smile and all showing.

Tifa raised an eyebrow. "I'll think about the karaoke machine. Because it's only when you guys visit that we'd use it."

Kailah's eyes widened and glistened when she noticed the gift, "OH. MY. GOODNESS. You actually got it! This is so amazing! Axel you are the sweetest! I can't believe you did that for me!" Without thinking, she jumped and hugged him tightly before finally looking at the violin. It was actually well made, and the strings seemed new- the bow's horse hair seemed perfect, and there was rosin in the case. "I'll play for you all tomorrow when everyone's awake! I'd love to meet your friend by they way. Maybe just hear the album." She laughed, giddy about the gift, "I still can't believe you did this!"

"My lips are sealed," Yuffie assured Tifa. "And as for Zidane, I'll bet if you asked him he'd start doing his own patrols so Cloud and Leon can finally have some time off."

"So, when do we start with the actual training?" Sora really wanted to know.

"Not tonight," Crystal answered. "Since I already told you this is a dream that would be cheating. Next time, though, I'm not going to tell you and you're going to have to figure it out for yourself. Of course, since this is a dream, we're not going to remember everything we talked about while we were here. That's just part of how dreams are."

"That's too bad," Sora pouted slightly. "I'd really like to remember this place, but more than that I want to be able to remember us being friends."

"Us being friends isn't something you're going to forget just by waking up," Crystal hopped down from where she was perching on the branch of the big old oak tree. "You might not remember everything we talked about, but the feelings themselves will still be there. And besides, as long as I want to be with Roxas, we're going to be part of each other's lives from now on anyway.

"I guess that's true," Sora was actually amused by that sentiment. "You know, I'm really glad you like him and that you're finally giving him a chance to be with you. Sure, I miss him when he's not around, but I can't overlook the fact that being with you is making him happy."

"I guess that means all that's left to do is to figure out how we're going to get you to address your feelings for Kairi," Crystal was only half-joking about that.

"Great, now you sound like Riku," Sora immediately got all defensive.

"Don't freak out, I'm not teasing you," Crystal continued as she wandered over to the stream to glance down at her own reflection in the water. "We all know that you care about Kairi. You've made it your life's mission to keep her safe and Riku has always been there to help you to protect her, but you also want to protect each other. Kairi is learning how to fight and how to protect herself so that's thrown off the dynamic of your relationship. If she doesn't need you to save her all the time, then what exactly is it that you're fighting for?"

"What I'm fighting for?" Sora was genuinely surprised and hadn't expected that question at all.

"Riku knows what he's fighting for and that's to protect what's important to him, namely you and Kairi," Crystal went on. "I suppose you could put Namine on that list as well. As for me, well I guess I'm kind of the same, but I make friends a lot more easily so there are a lot of people I want to help. I want the worlds to be peaceful for the sake of everyone. But it seems to me like you've become uncertain of yourself. Maybe it's because the Keyblade didn't originally pick you, maybe it's because you failed to pass the Mark of Mastery exam, and maybe it's because you've still got some growing up to do. Whatever the reason, you're doubting yourself and that's stunting your abilities. Roxas, Xion, and Namine will be fine. You need to stop beating yourself up about what happened. You need to learn to forgive yourself. And then you need to take another look inside to remind yourself about what is truly important to you."

"I think I sort of get now why Master Yen Sid wanted for you to work with me on this," Sora considered after getting thoroughly chewed out by Crystal. "I guess I've been keeping too much to myself, but it's like you can see right through me."

"Well, that's only because I went through something kind of similar myself," Crystal admitted. "I think Master Yen Sid probably sensed that about me and thought that maybe I could help you somehow."

The next morning rolled around without further incident. That is to say until Cloud and Yuffie returned from their morning patrol with some troubling news for the patrons of the 7th Heaven tavern.

"Okay, so we were out patrolling by the ravine as usual and someone put a big ugly industrial sign up on Maleficent's tower seemingly overnight!" Yuffie declared as she entered the premises. "What the heck is the Shinra Electric Power Corporation anyway? I've certainly never heard of them!"

Cloud sighed heavily. "That's why we came back here to consult with everyone. It's news to me too."

Leon was, of course, still out cold upstairs in his room so he was nowhere to be seen. Zidane was already downstairs in the bar area making himself right at home, although Sora didn't appear to be with him which meant he was probably still asleep. Crystal, Roxas, and Xion were also similarly absent at the moment.

"You know, I don't think I've ever heard of them either," Zidane mentioned as he listened in on what Cloud and Yuffie were discussing.

"And what exactly would they want with Maleficent's tower anyway?" Cloud shook his head. "None of this is making any sense. That tower has been abandoned for years now and it's out in the middle of nowhere."

"It's not exactly prime real estate," Yuffie agreed. "This is way too weird."

Axel had chuckled a bit lightly and let her hug him for a bit while rubbing the back of his head and all "not a problem at all. all i had to do was mention to Demyx a fellow musician needed an instrument because they lost theirs, he asked what instrument, and procured the violin when i told him." he said, while nodding a bit lightly "meeting him isn't too hard really, but since it's getting a good bit late, i think i need to get some rest before i stay up late long enough that i might give some mischievous miscreants upstairs a reason to doodle on my face." he said, referring to Sora, Roxas, Crystal, and Xion. Zidane too, in fact.

either way, the next day, while everyone awake was talking about this new predicament about 'Shinra' or whoever they were, Shiro would be rudely awakened to his Cell phone going off, the ringtone being something Catchy and very.. relaxing. (it's EMIYA theme from FSN. XD) either way he tossed and turned in his bed, before sitting up with bed hair and all, grabbed his cell phone out of his sleeve, and flicked it open with a grunt "this better be an emergency or i'm hanging up right now." he said with a cold voice, but hearing who was on the other end, the pissed off voice, and -why- he was being called, caused him to snap open his prismatic eyes and immediately get out of bed, changing clothes to that of his gear he usually -hates- to wear, bug given how pissed off he was, he was going to really give the person pissing him off an earful as he headed downstairs, talking on the phone "right... uh-huh... so he said that... and has a way?" he continued like this as he walked passed the chatting adults without paying them any attention, but with the clear stress lines on his face and the fact his eyes were glowing blood red instead of merely prismatic, not to mention a golden portal opening up and following him as he grabbed something which looked like a short sword made to look like a key "... tell him he has maybe thirty seconds to a minute before i reach the Coliseum to stop the bullcrap he's doing and let you two go free as -promised- or Olympus is going to be needing another God of Death in the very -near- future. understood?" he said coldly enough, just as he swung his hand out to create the Corridor of Light just before the exit of the tavern "i don't care even if he's got raging purple flames of lust on his head, my answer is the same. Tell. Him." he growled out, before slamming the phone closed and stuffing it back in his sleeve before looking to Tifa and the others "... i'll be right back, i have some.. pressing business to take care of." he said quite seriously, before pulling out a golden chain to wrap around his arm, and disappeared within the corridor of light to head for Olympus, looking ready to murder someone.

Axel of course.. would still be snoozing away after his late(r) night talks with the others, so he did not feel or hear Shiro getting angry or anything, all in all an easy-going guy today for Axel.

[XIII] Roxas

Stubborn Teenager

PostPosted: Thu Apr 13, 2017 8:26 pm
User ImageRoxas didn't sense Shiro's anger or actually hear what specifically he was ranting about, but Shiro's ranting as he went by did kind of wake Roxas up. He could tell pretty easily by glancing over to the other bed in the room that Axel hadn't heard anything and was still asleep. No surprise there considering Axel had stayed up after Roxas and the others had been shooed off to bed by Leon. Roxas slid off his bed and wandered over to poke at Axel a few times just to see if maybe he'd get a response, but when that failed to wake him Roxas would give up pretty quickly to go get changed into some clean clothes so he could leave the room to go see who else might be awake. He was still a bit worried about Crystal given that she had mentioned that there were no guarantees about what might happen while she was training with Sora in the Realm of Dreams. Roxas wanted to believe that everything was going to be fine and that nothing too bad would happen, but given the issues that Sora seemed to be having Roxas did have to wonder about what was going on in Sora's dreamscape. He left Axel to his snoozing and left the room to head downstairs to the tavern area to see about finding some breakfast. Usually when they were staying in Radiant Garden Tifa would cook for everyone before they got out of bed so Roxas kind of figured there might be something ready by now. And if not he could wait around quietly until it was ready and maybe even offer to help out if it seemed like they needed any. Roxas was a little surprised by the tense atmosphere when he finally made it downstairs though as Cloud and Yuffie seemed to be going on about something called 'Shinra' that Roxas hadn't previously heard of.

Crystal was jolted awake when she felt Shiro's presence explode with anger that went totally unnoticed by Xion still sleeping next to her. Crystal shook her head to herself wondering what in the worlds could have set Shiro off like that so early in the morning, but she kept quiet to let Xion sleep and moved to slide off the bed to get changed into a new outfit for the day. The best way to describe her pants would be black rave pants with electric blue trim and highlights. She also wore matching arm-wraps and blue-strapped sandals along with a plain white tank-top. By the time Crystal was done getting changed Xion had also woken up.

"Good morning," Xion greeted Crystal. "So, how did it go with training Sora?"

"Well, we haven't gotten to the actual training part," Crystal admitted as she thought about what she could remember about their conversation in the dreamscape. "Last night was mostly just a glorified therapy session. All we really did was talk. Anyway, I think that at least went well."

"Well, I think for him that might have been more challenging than actually having to fight you," Xion pointed out as she got out of bed so she could also start getting dressed so they could head downstairs to meet up with whoever else was already awake.

"I did warn him that my training was going to be tough," Crystal chuckled to herself in amusement. "He wants to go through with it anyway, so who am I to turn him down? Besides, this is as much a test for me as it is for Sora."

"You at least managed to find him in the Realm of Dreams so that's a pretty good start I would imagine," Xion nodded.

"That's true," Crystal agreed. Once Xion was finished getting dressed they left the room and would head downstairs together to see what was going on down in the tavern area at which point they caught up with Roxas.

"Good morning," the girls greeted him as they caught up with him on the stairs.

"Good morning," Roxas smiled. He didn't understand what the adults were talking about, but he was happy to see both Crystal and Xion were awake. It was already less awkward now that they were all together.

"It sounds like something must have happened," Crystal glanced over to where Cloud and Yuffie were talking about what they had seen in the ravine at Maleficent's tower. They really couldn't help it if they were eavesdropping.

"I hope it isn't anything to worry about," Xion immediately became concerned.

"Even if it is, if it doesn't concern the Heartless they aren't going to want for us to get involved," Crystal pointed out. "And we've got to respect the fact that Leon, Cloud, and everyone can generally handle things. Still, we might have to check it out."

"I had a feeling you were going to say that," Roxas was actually amused that he managed to anticipate Crystal's reaction.

"Well, they are my friends," Crystal admitted. "It's not like I can just leave things alone if there could be trouble."

*~Realm of Darkness~*

Even though there was no time in the Realm of Darkness the going was slow to say the least. This was in no small part because even the most deminuitive of the Heartless were a force to be reckoned with showing far greater strength and ferocity than any Riku had encountered previously. Mickey had seen them like this before back when he had traversed the realm with Aqua, but that had been for a very brief stay in the Realm of Darkness. It was an uphill battle and it was made worse by the fact that they didn't actually know where in the realm they were going to be able to find who they were searching for.

"I really hope the others are having a better time with Sora," Riku muttered as he swatted down another cluster of Shadows only for them to swarm together again becoming a writhing tower of Heartless.

"Sorry Riku," Mickey was quick to apologize. "I wish I knew where we ought to be searching, but so far I haven't come up with anything."

"What about you Roveth?" Riku gritted as he took another swing at the cluster of Shadows. "Have you managed to pick up on anything that doesn't just feel like more Heartless?"

Kailah S Majessta

Kailah was wide awake and helping to serve breakfast to everyone when Cloud and Yuffie walked in.

Tifa looked contemplative, "Shinra? I've never heard of them either. But why there of all places." She frowned. "I don't think this is good in any way. No one ever just opens up shop without consulting me or Cid first. It's ominous to say the least. You think we should wake up Leon?" She glanced at Kailah who was now serving breakfast the newly awoken travelers.

"Huh? Oh. Yeah, as long it's just to discuss the issue at hand. He shouldn't be out doing anything until after he's had sufficient food and water. Especially if you're saying it's ominous."

"Speaking of ominous," Tifa noticed Shiro just hanging up his cell as he told them there was business to take care of, "Should someone follow him? Or should he be fine?" She shook her head. "Well first things first, we need Leon here. He's the head of security after all. Yuffie, you want to go wake him up? AND BE NICE, he might be lightheaded after last night."

"He shouldn't be, but that's always a possibility." Kailah interjected, making sure everyone had plates and drinks, including Cloud and Yuffie since they were there. "Right, let me fix breakfast for Leon, he's going to need it." She also set aside a few extra plates for anyone (*cough*Axel*cough*) who may not be awake yet. "And Tifa, if you absolutely need to go with them to check the place out, I can cover here for a few hours. This isn't my first time working in a tavern."

"Hopefully it won't come to that." Tifa's eyes and ears noticed the others beginning to talk, and she eyed them suspiciously. "Kailah, you want to try out that new violin when Leon gets down here? Some morning entertainment," in reality -distraction-, "might be nice while we figure out just WHAT Shinra is and what they're doing here."

Kailah caught on, and smiled, "Of course I'll play!"

She grabbed her case from behind the bar and tuned up, catching attention from the loud tuning sound, then stood in a wide corner closest to where the teens were sitting.

"How about some morning music?" She closed her eyes and began playing loudly, at least trying to be loud enough so that when Leon appeared they could talk privately. The distraction was worth a shot at least.
