Shiro thankfully had been easing himself back into cooking, since they did stay a while under Tifa's care thus not needing to cook, but when he was put in the kitchen, of course -The Apron- came on, and the battles of culinary cuisine would start between himself and Ryu, not to say the man had no talent in cooking, but he was good at it, and seemed to be getting better the more the challenges came, but Shiro was in his zone when it came to cooking, there was a reason -why- Gilgamesh actually had nothing but praises to say about the food Shiro cooked, even jokingly mention a couple of times, much to Shiro's Ire, that he should also have the title King of Cooking, which led to Gilgamesh getting a ladle shot at him from being traced outta nowhere and sending him off his seat for that comment. granted, Shiro did not just sit idle after he had been cooking, as he too, had been training, working with his summons, his tracing capabilities, Gilgamesh aiding him in training him with the gate, and of course, Shiro actually getting into the shaman stuff and asking for pointers from Yoh and even Anna, when she wasn't in too bad a mood from Yoh's slacking off or Sora's... well, enthusiasm. of course, this is to say he didn't keep his other skills sharp, as he worked on all of them as well, the only thing he went unused during the week was the gift Aura gave him, but this was because while he was used to using it on digital objects and monsters, using it in real life could be -bad news- so he kept himself from utilizing it and even started focusing on magic, at this point he was at the -ra level of spells, and working on mastering them, as well as Green Magic and white magic of the same tier. of course, Shiro also off-handedly learned the same techniques Roxas was learning, but he'd at least practice himself in utilizing them since while he is more accustomed to holding Katanas and the likes thanks to his Reality marble, engraving techniques into muscle memory was -always- a good idea, especially when wanting to use them with -any- sword he had on hand.

of course, the day Sora had finished his dream training had Shiro turn and look over to Crystal with amusement "Strawberries." he said plainly enough, as he continued working with said fruits and everything, not to mention the other needed ingredients and all. looking amused, while Ryu seemed to be cooking up a frenzied storm so as to keep up and actually try to outpace Shiro, who was doing his prep work and cooking with minimal effort and movement made, making it look almost effortless.


Roveth meanwhile had been dealing damage accumulatively but slowly on the Heartless general, making the man smirk more and more, before he jumped back and started gathering a LOT of darkness energy within his fist, Roveth actually watching and studying this as he hummed a bit, before the two charged forward and clashed once more, another slash along Ganondorf's chest, but also the darkness infused fist exploding right into Roveth's chest and sending him flying back with a shockwave as he clenched his teeth, and coughed up some blood once he flipped and landed on his feet, before glaring up at the Heartless General "che.. that's some punch... mind if i take another crack at it?" he called out, while Ganondorf scoffed, but smirked a bit "not that it'll make much difference but i'll amuse you." he said, rearing his fist back and gthering his dark magical energies, while Roveth on the other hand watched, and brought his own fist back, starting to send Shadow Magic down into it causing it to light up into a brighter royal purple compared to the darker midnight purple of Ganondorf's fist, before the two dashed at each other, their fists colliding causing an immense shockwave to be emitted and slice through quite a few heartless as the two's techniques battled it out "interesting... very interesting! you're just as adaptive as our nemesis is!" he laughed out while continuing to push, a tattoo forming with raw golden power emanating into the fist, and eventually over powering Roveth's causing him to be sent flying once more, this time cradling a heavily damaged fist, wrist, and forearm from the pressure as he growled out "Gah!" he started mentally cursing in his head before flicking out the card he had in hand, unleashing Dian Kieto the Cure master who had quickly healed his internals and most of his arm, but the hand was still useless at the moment until he could get another card off, but as it was he had to wield Nothung one handed in his off hand to slash and parry the furious strikes and dodge those wild dark infused punches.

"Oh, this should be good," Crystal grinned as she settled onto a chair over where Xion, Manta, and Tamao were already sitting down to watch the two competing chefs go at it. Roxas wasn't far behind as he also pulled up a chair to watch the action unfold.

"You know, I think Anna is really going to miss Shiro's cooking when we decide to move on to the next world," Xion pointed out as Crystal and Roxas joined the group in the kitchen to watch the spectacle of Ryu trying to outpace Shiro's overly casual, but no less confident, cooking style.

"And that could be soon now that Crystal thinks she might be done with Sora's training," noted Roxas.

"We might give it one more night just to be sure, but I don't think there's really anything more I'll be able to teach him," Crystal nodded.

"That's fine," Roxas gave a thoughtful smile. "I'd like to get in some more practice anyway. Do you think it would be okay for me to get my own bokuto to take with us once it's time to leave?"

"Sure," Crystal easily agreed. "You can come with me when I do today's shopping and test some out for yourself to see if there are any you like the feel of. I'll get one too and then we can keep practicing together."

"Yeah, I'd like that," Roxas blushed slightly although he was clearly happy with the idea.

"It sounds like you two are getting along well," Xion was back on the teasing game because someone had to do it when Axel, Roveth, and Yuffie weren't around. It seemed to work because now Crystal was blushing too.

Shiro of course glanced back towards the dining area with a hum as he called out "i might be coming with you two in that case given i did want a couple of Bokuto's myself, i can even etch some runes to make sure they don't break easily." he offered, while continuing to work, adding small strawberry pieces into what looked to be pancake batter mix and some peanut butter mixed in as well. while he was doing that, he would also start stirring at a clearly being made sauce or drizzle of sorts with strawberry juices, strawberry pieces, and of course, melted sugar into caramel adding in he was keeping an eye on another frying pan which had sausage patties being cooked, and checking the oven once in a while for the bacon racks, one could say he was definitely meticulous and cautious of everything, but one had to be. it wouldn't take long before the main parts being cooked would be plated, the sausage patties, even numbers for every one, and then passing off that particular frying pan to the sink to be cleaned to trace out a new one, this one he'd crack eggs and start making some cooked eggs next, sprinkling a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg, and once they were being plated, a small bit of that drizzle going on each egg for a splash of extra flavor, so on. it was one of his best breakfast dish feasts ever. too bad Axel would be missing out, same with Roveth!

Roveth of course was on the fringe of but still within that healing area and the rest of his hand was fixed in the meanwhile as he sweatdropped at Riku's noble, and foolish, deeds of trying to distract Ganondorf, who scoffed in annoyance even when bombarded by Dark Firagas, they didn't really phase him much but they were enough to definitely back-hand Riku to the side, while roveth was already up as he sighed, clenching his hands and while he still had Nothung in one hand, he used raw shadow magic once more to coat the other hand, when they clashed once more fist and sword alike, this time Roveth saw the golden shine, and instead pulled a feint, sneaking a bit to the side and slammed his shadow infused fist right into the slightly armored side of Ganondorf, right in the Liver in fact, causing him to actually go wide-eyed and nearly puked right there, but Roveth wasn't done as he stepped and lowered himself.. before leaping right into a Gazelle Punch maneuver right into Ganondorf's chin, proceeding to spin around and then using shadow magic enhanced reinforcement, slammed his foot right in that rising chin, sending Ganondorf into the air as he hissed in pain "damn his chin's like a boulder..." he muttered, before leaping off into the air, summoning another Nothung with a quick toss of a card to grab the blade, and started unleashing multiple slashes with both blades, eventually sending Ganondorf with cut riddled armor down to the ground, where Roveth met him with massively charged blades at the ready "it's time for you to Rise from the depths of HELL!" he roared out, unleashing a massive upward slash which clearly cut deeply through the armor and getting blood to splurt out, but send the king of thieves into the air once more, Roveth following up with the next sword strike following up "now you will Fall from the gates of HEAVEN!" he did the overhead slash as he brought up both nothungs, coating them in Shadow Energy, and begun slashing left, right, up down, all sending a barrage of energy blades to rain down on Ganondorf "and let the Rulers of Chaos... REIGN SUPREME!" he shouted out, before turning the Nothungs into twin javelins of purple-black Shadow Energy, and flung them down to pierce right into and hold Ganondorf down while eating away at his body "Shadow Impale Barrage!" he roared out, summoning multiple, even dozens more lances, to all send them flying down, though he quickly followed behind, and once one lance moved out of the way, before the armor of Ganondorf would heal, he'd slam his gloved hand right into that chest to grab for something, with Ganondorf howling in pain and seeming to distort between two forms, a more boar/pig like appearance, and his normal King of thieves self, trying to push Roveth off but not having any luck with the pain he was in. "let... go of me.. you.. blasted... imp!" he roared out, trying to punch Roveth, but he'd get a headbutt for his troubles and slightly dazed while Roveth continued digging "where is that damn artifact.. come on senses...!"

"Oh, that's a good idea!" Crystal nodded when Shiro also expressed his interest in shopping for bokutos with her and Roxas.

"In that case it'll be up to me to keep an eye on Sora to make sure he doesn't slack off on his training," Xion added with some amusement. "Although there really hasn't been too much trouble with that."

"Anna has eyes and ears all over thanks to the ghosts who reside here," Crystal mentioned. "She knows whenever someone isn't pulling their weight."

"You know, when you mentioned seeing ghosts I kind of expected it to be more creepy, but most of the ghosts we've met here have been pretty nice," Roxas admitted. He definitely didn't have shamanic abilities like Crystal and Shiro had demonstrated alongside Yoh, but Roxas could certainly see the ghosts at the very least. The same could be said for Sora and Xion. They could also see the ghosts, but had no power over them. And while Sora had a remarkably high tolerance for spooky things after Halloweentown, he was not mentally prepared for that one ghost of the spooky old man who kept hiding out in the toilet even though it had happened at least once every day that they had been staying at Funbari Onsen. It had become so predictable, in fact, that the others were already casually ignoring Sora's screams.

So, while Axel and Roveth would be missing out on Shiro's latest breakfast masterpiece, there were a few others who would be joining the group at about this time. Namely, Ren and Horohoro. They would have spent the night at the building owned by the Tao family not far from the inn given that Funbari Onsen was a bit short on rooms at the moment with so many visitors all at once, but that was of no consequence to Ren who could simply call for a car any time it suited him. Horohoro might have been excited about breakfast, but he was still half asleep as they were driven up to the driveway with drool hanging from the corner of his mouth.

"Why do they gotta do breakfast so early?" Horohoro complained as they emerged from the vehicle to make their way inside. "I could have slept for at least a few more hours."

"Would you rather I had left you behind to miss out on what promises to be another amazing meal?" Ren shot back with a slight smirk.

"No, that would have sucked even worse," Horohoro admitted as they were walking toward the kitchen and dining area. "There's no way I'm missing out on that guy's cooking."

"Then waking up early is a small price to pay," Ren reiterated. "You should be thankful we were invited in the first place."

"Welcome back," Yoh greeted his friends lazily as he was also out of bed by that point and also waiting near the kitchen. Sora was with him as Yoh had come along and shooed away that awful ghost in the toilet so that Sora could finally use the damn bathroom in peace.

"It looks like we're all here then," Sora would mention as he pulled up a chair to await breakfast.

Shiro chuckled as he continued working on making food, letting chibi-Apocalypse out to fix the coffee and pass it to those who wanted it, as well as other drinks of choice for everyone, while Ryu would obviously be done with his dishes first and sent them out, Shiro took his time, because rushing things usually was the kind of reason everyone screwed up in cooking, even if he had a 'small' edge in using his Structural Grasping for the proper measurements and all. either way, while Ryu's dishes had a new shine to them brought on the challenges, when Shiro's brought his out.. it was more that they were -sparkling- in their own way, as if their styles of cooking were like night and day at that point while Shiro chuckled a bit lightly and rubbed the back of his head while passing out the dishes as well as having Apocalypse hand a few out as well "and in all honesty, it just depends on the ghost." he said, looking amused at seeing the banter between horohoro and Ren, it kinda reminded him of the banter between his mentor and his 'crush' Tohsaka Rin... either way he'd just continue working with things while he hummed in thought lightly given he didn't see Gilgamesh anywhere.. at least until said King of heroes popped his head in with a yawn and came out, bed hair and all, looking both amused and still a bit tired "while i don't mind such extravagance for even simple breakfasts.. aren't you being a bit cruel, King of Foods, in letting your skills show that much?" he of course, as per the norm for whenever Gilgamesh would mock him by giving him a title or using the title 'King of Swords' in his general area, by shooting a ladle at him to send him flying to the floor as Shiro twitched an eyebrow "now i -know- you're just doing this to get a rise out of me Gilgamesh... allies or not you're -really- trying my patience!" he said, tapping his arm with another Ladle and looking not too happy, before shaking his head and going back into the kitchen to continue working, while apocalypse just snickered from the kitchen entrance "you'd think Goldilocks would know better than to irritate Shiro when he's using his de-stressing mechanism of cooking." he said way too cheekily and all.

Roveth had growled out, eyeing the b*****d heartless, even if he was being protected by Aqua and the others, they were still trying to get to him quickly, while eventually his hand did brush against something and the stinging sensation made him snap his attention to the hand buried deep in Ganondorf's chest, and he smirked "Bingo!" he called out, before reaching and grabbing the object, hissing in pain as it started burning into his hand hotly while at the same time throwing divine power against him to try and let go "no.. NO! I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE WHAT THE GODS OF HYRULE GAVE ME!" Ganondorf finally had apparently had enough, and summoned large claw like dark structures, and proceeded to impale Roveth in the chest with them, only for Roveth to cough a bit of blood out, before gritting his teeth "you.. think a little.. pain will.. STOP ME!?! YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU'RE MESSING WITH!" he roared out, and with a savage brutal tug, ripped out what looked to be a blood covered golden triangle of sorts which sined quite the divine light as Ganondorf roared and started warping and distorting his body, throwing Roveth off, before quickly turning into a -HUGE- boar, with heartless markings and everything as it snorted in raw anger. "you.. insolent.. little fool! I WILL CRUSH YOU ALL LIKE INSECTS!" Roveth of course would flick a card out and jumped back expertly, leaving behind a Mirror force which sent the charging boar flying backwards as he moved to quickly put the object away within one of his pockets after de-materializing the ranger outfit, and sticking to his normal casual gear, with the blood stained areas riddling it "che.. nothing.. but a wild... pig now..." he muttered, before out of instinct, Roveth would fling his hands out, and the twin Nothungs he had summoned before would quickly fly up and re-land in Roveth's hands as he took on his typical dual wielding stance "let's.. go.. you.. oversized... strip.. of.. bacon...!" he said, giving off soft pants as he readied himself for the final confrontation.

The praises were high for both Shiro and Ryu, but ultimately it was Shiro who came out on top and Ryu was once again forced to admit defeat to the superior cook. It was a friendly competition, at least, and so winning and losing aside, the real winners were the guests who now got to partake of this wondrous feast. Usually, when they were back in Twilight Town or anywhere else Shiro had the opportunity to don his apron while cooking for the group he was in the kitchen well before anyone had a chance to see what he was getting up to, although sometimes Axel did arrive soon enough to lend a hand with some of the cooking. This past week while they were training here at Funbari Onsen was really the first time Xion had gotten to see how Shiro acted when he was cooking. How much more carefree and lighthearted he was when he was managing himself in the kitchen. He was almost like a totally different person and it was actually refreshing to see that he could be cheerful without having to be snarky and sarcastic. Seeing him in an environment where he was totally relaxed was a very nice change of pace and it was good to see that there was something Shiro seemed to really enjoy doing. As proud as he was of his Reality Marble and his countless swords, this side of Shiro was certainly much easier to understand and relate to. Of course, while Xion was thinking on this the true judge of the competition would have arrived and Anna wasn't messing around as she took her seat at the head of the table waiting to be impressed. Suffice it to say, the lady of the household would not be disappointed.

Ren and Horohoro naturally continued with their typical bantering over breakfast while sparing a few words to compliment Shiro and Ryu on their amazing work as always before lapsing right back into arguing with each other. Yoh would smile and laugh casually while enjoying his own helping of this exquisite breakfast while also setting aside a portion as an offering for Amidamaru to enjoy as well. Ren would of course do the same for Bason.

Sora would be gorging himself silly proving he wasn't much of a connoisseur although he was clearly enjoying the meal. Roxas had to raise an eyebrow every time he watched Sora's eating behavior wondering how the heck the two of them could be so drastically different as his own eating habits were nowhere near that crude and undignified. Tamao would quietly compliment Shiro, being her usual shy and awkward self, while being slightly more comfortable in conversation with Ryu. Manta would be compliment Shiro and Ryu for the meal while hastily scribbling down a grocery list of all the ingredients that were going to need replacing during the daily shopping trip.

"Well, I'd say once again you've both really outdone yourselves," Crystal would say with regards to both Shiro and Ryu.

"I'm inclined to agree," Anna sounded totally serious so it would be clear she wasn't joking. "Someday you'll both make fine husbands for whatever woman you intend to marry." As she said this she was glaring daggers in Yoh's general direction causing him to shrink slightly beneath the edge of the table. Roxas, meanwhile, wondered what exactly Anna meant by that. He supposed that was something he was going to have to ask Axel about once he turned up again.

Shiro of course just rubbed his hand behind his head while trying to at least being acceptable of the praise, even Gilgamesh's compliments once he got to eating were given, at least without the usual sniping of the titles in to make Shiro react on it, but anna's comment made him actually go deep red in blushing and hiding his eyes while steam came shooting out of his ears, definitely brain fried at that comment, given what he had been through with women back in Spira, not to mention dealing with his own feelings for a certain someone... yeah, definitely not the time for it. "i .. uh.. right... uhm.. thanks?" he said, rubbing the back of his head with a nervous eye-smile.of course apocalypse just sweatdropped at his partner and turned into Chibi-form and began comically beating on Shiro's head "Oi! wake up and smell the burnt toast you bumbling fool!" of course, this got a ladle to Apocalypse's face, while Shiro did turn to check and see if he had left something on, thankfully he did not, but the look made Shiro glare up at Apocalypse who was nursing his face a bit form the ladle "don't do that please." he said calmly enough, while Apocalypse scoffed a bit and looked away, while Shiro sat down and began to eat himself so that he'd be ready to go with Crystal and Roxas for the shopping trip and all. of course in his mind he was also devising the runic matrix needed to make those bokuto's strong and nigh unbreakable, but still completely non-fatal unless the wielder is -skilled- enough to make them fatal (Case in point: Shiro -can-. doesn't mean he will.) among other things.

Meanwhile, Roveth of course focused his mind, and stared down the huffing boar that Ganondorf had become, before the latter charged, enveloping itself in darkness energy to further increase speed and the strength of the charge, with Roveth digging deep in his leftover stamina reserves, and proceeding to charge in soon after, the Dragon-slaying blades becoming coated in shadow energy as he whispered out "Finishing move...!" he said, though it was barely a whisper, it'd still be heard through the onrush of noise by everyone, before Roveth actually dived in, spiraling with his body and causing a twister-like drill of energy to kick up around him, when he made contact with Ganondorf's charge, the charge would be diverted and the underbelly shown with Roveth continuing to slowly drill and pierce into it, once the first Nothung got in, Roveth finally finished the call "Spiraling Shadow Rend!" he roared out, before the drill came back on even more intensely, with the second Nothung blade being used as a cutting end to cut a circle in the flesh, and once that circle was made, started digging in more and more.. before blowing clean out of Ganondorf's back, causing him to scream in pain before blowing up into particles of purple darkness flames as Roveth landed, with a bit of a stumble, but he did turn and gave off a stare towards the heartless, particularly the Darksides, that would make one Kuroki Kaze proud. "get out of here... before i choose the appropriate Soil for the likes of you!" he said in an ominous tone of voice, a very familiar pearl on Roveth's right arm starting to shine ominously, as if responding to the mention of Soil (yes, Roveth did work out with Kaze a way to alter the Ma-Gan's appearance to allow for two hands to be used, but it will fully reform into the shell if it's fully ready to activate.)

While Shiro was embarrassed enough to blush and spout steam from his ears at Anna's compliment, Sora thought of Kairi and also started blushing because he actually sort of understood the context of what Anna was talking about unlike Roxas who was totally clueless on the subject as it wasn't one that had come up around him before. Of course, not long after it had started breakfast would be over and everyone would split up to go about their respective chores and training exercises until lunchtime. This meant that Sora and Horohoro were both being put to work scrubbing the floors while Ren left to attend to some family matters, namely spending some quality time with Jun at her insistence so she could make sure he was doing okay to ease the concerns of the rest of the Tao family. Yoh would be joining Tamao, Manta, and Xion in the kitchen to wash the dishes while Ryu took a much deserved break after the breakfast competition to contemplate his lunch menu. This left Crystal and Roxas free to do the grocery shopping with Shiro so that they could also pick up some bokutos along the way. Anna was, of course, lounging in front of the television watching the usual bland daytime programming while munching on crackers until someone fell out of line and she would inevitably have to scold them. It wasn't easy being in charge all the time.

"Well Shiro, I'd say you've definitely given Ryu some fresh inspiration to try to improve his cooking with how soundly you keep beating him with your recipes," Crystal commented as they walked through Funbari to the nearby shopping district.

"Yeah, he seems real determined to beat you," Roxas would agree with an amused smile.

Shiro had been at least thankful that things didn't get too bad off, so once the three of them were off to handle groceries, and getting some bokuto's for himself and Roxas one, Shiro would hum in thought at the fact that Ryu does try hard to try and outpace him "well, i admit that Ryu is getting better and better with each round we fight, but the way he does things is too hectic, that's why some of his dishes while are delicious, are a bit -off-. yes, i might have an advantage with Structural Grasping, but all that does is it helps me make my work precise and not need wasted movements, and i'm -always- mindful of what's going on in the kitchen." he said, chuckling a bit "truth be told, my mentor and myself use cooking as a way to relax, and relieve tension, plus it helps feed people so i do feel glad for it." he said, lightly looking to the sky "plus some of the recipe's are ones i've picked up during our travels and tweaked them here and there." he said with a shrug and a smile, continuing to walk along while thinking on of course the runic formulas for the swords, as well as the menu for Lunch if they weren't leaving before lunch that is. either way seemed to smile a bit as he walked along, thankfully wearing his casual gear. Gilgamesh of course, after eating, went out to go train more, since Shiro was off running errands he'd at least resume working on slowly getting used to and fighting with more and more of the Gate's contents.

meanwhile Roveth just stared at the remaining Neo Shadows and Darksides, letting an ominous wind surround him as he brought his arm up, he may be tired, injured, and impaled, but that wasn't going to stop him as he flicked out the arm which held the pearl, with it flashing to form a golden casing onto the right arm as the jewel within began shining, Roveth's presence getting more and more prevalent "it's moving..." he whispered to himself, before focusing his eyes forward "Soil, become my Strength!" he called out, twisting the case held arm and revealing a drill popping out, with fan blades also coming out of the drill itself, before the drill started spinning the fan blades, causing a torrent of blue-black wind to storm around himself and the area. once the wind and energy kicked up, Roveth brought up the arm as the case broke apart into spiraling golden pieces reconfiguring itself into that of a triple barreled gun, with the fan-bladed drill spinning wildly still, the black hearty within pulsing rhythmically, and Roveth's cold eyes staring at the remaining darksides "Ma-Gan... Disperse." with that, the gun would flash, and the winds would disappear, pointing the gun right at the darksides as they looked on in confusion "I have chosen the Appropriate Soil for the likes of you!" he called out, bringing up the first bullet "The cry of the Dark Spirit...Dark Green!" he called out, flicking the bullet into the air like a coin, before it flew into the first slot, with the slot closing and locking in, causing a large burst of presence to form "One that does not forgive Creation... Virgin White!" he said, bringing out the second bullet, balancing it between his index finger and thumb, letting it shine a bit before putting it into the second slot, letting it snap shut next with a hiss as he reached down to his belt, slapping the last bullet out to flick in front of his face "and finally... One that freezes everything... Ice Blue!" he called out, flicking the gun around and catching the bullet within the bottom slot before swinging the gun around as the drill started speeding up, the fan blades whirring wildly, the power increasing tremendously in the area as he narrowed his eyes while listening to the heart being more and more erratically in response to churning that energy out "Shine, SUMMONED CREATURE! SHIVA!" he roared out, bringing the Ma Gan to point at the darksides, and pulling the trigger immediately, causing a gun firing noise to be heard, and a large plume of smoke coming out of the barrel.. which began spinning in a spiral following the emergence of three dust-colored energy blasts which spiraled along, forming at the forefront the maiden of the northern Winds, Shiva, launching right at the darksides head on.of course, the effect of what happens will be quite.. spectacular.

Once they were finished shopping with Shiro, Crystal and Roxas would return to training with Yoh and Amidamaru. Crystal would be keeping her newly purchased bokuto stored away within the digital storage apparatus masquerading as a wristwatch that she wore along with the rest of her collection of non-Keyblade based weaponry. Roxas, meanwhile, was inclined to actually carry his new wooden blades wrapped up and slung over one shoulder so that he could really get used to the weight of them. Granted, if anyone were to ask Crystal she would have said it also made him look cool, but that was neither here nor there at the moment.

In that way the rest of the day would pass without incident. Eventually, after an impressive dinner spread, Crystal and Roxas would head out again to spend a little while up on Funbari Hill to do some stargazing. Yoh really wanted to tag along too, but Anna didn't want him bothering them and reigned Yoh in the only way she knew how--by putting him on dish duty with Sora, Manta, and Horohoro. She was feeling generous and so would allow Shiro to have the evening off to do whatever he might like while leaving Xion and Tamao to take advantage of the onsen. Tamao had certainly met Shiro before, but she was still pretty shy around him and didn't speak much in his presence, but her shyness had escalated even higher during this visit with the addition of Roxas and Sora to the mix since she hadn't met those boys before and didn't know at all what to expect from them. But, since she had been spending a good amount of time around Xion while they were on kitchen duty she had slowly begun to reveal her true nature and so the two were quietly gossiping in the onsen while the others were completing their chores or simply relaxing elsewhere.
