Fellow Bartonians, with open arms I welcome you to the glorious nation that is our homeland. The peaceful, humble nation of Barton. It is here that Gaia began, and from which it grew into the greatness as we now know it to be. Without our beloved Barton, there would be no Gaia.

Often known as the Peace Makers of Gaia, we are the living proof that respect, good sportsmanship, and unity are not yet deceased. We stand together as one, and we work together as one. Connected not only by our loyalty to the Golden Leaf, but by the bonds of friendship that form amongst our humble citizens. If we must fight, then we will fight together. If we suffer, then we suffer together. In this nation, no man will be left behind.

Rest assured, my friends, that this nation will remain a peaceful one. As citizens of Barton, I am certain that you will do well to show your loyalty, and to set an amazing example for the rest of Gaia. Any form of disruption to the peace of this nation, and any actions that will soil our name, will not be tolerated.

Now, my friends, it is time that you walk along the streets of this prosperous nation. Our gates are opened to you, and a welcoming community awaits inside. Introduce yourselves, and make yourselves at home. My greetings to you have finished, but your adventure has just begun....

Fellow Bartonians & Guests!

I am please to say that I'm the mindmaster of this entire idea of Barton Town. But because I am in such a position, I have plenty of expectations for this town.

These are the goals we have for Barton Town:

1. To have a flourishing town, with many proud citizens enjoying their lives within the Town, and to make sure that we uphold the honor of being Bartonians.
2. To have a bustling market, where items are traded, bought, and sold with efficiency, where people can get what they want for a fraction of the price, and where people can get rich quick without cheating their way to get there.
3. To have as many holidays as possible to keep the citizens happy and promote a sense of unity within the community. Plus we want to increase the activity here on the Guild for that matter as well as Gaia.
4. To shove our pride into Durem's face! scream
5. To create a community based on fellowship, honor, and dignity so that we may be united not only as Gaians, but as Bartonians.

So I expect all Bartonian citizens to abide by the laws of the Town and participate in many future events. So work hard, fellow Bartonians! I shall do my part as well and I will not let you down!

Good day, my fellow Bartonians. This nation we have founded and conceived with our hearts and minds shows promise of standing strong. Our Bartonian spirit and our national pride and our love for our neighbors and each other and ourselves shows this. Our willingness to defend our homeland and to defend what we believe is right strenghtens this.

But to defend our rights to do so from the evils inside and outside of our community, we need people who are willing to sacrifice their lives for ours, to commit their time to our safety, to bring our great nation long-lasting sanctity and unitism. These people, my friends, are the members of our beloved Barton Army.

These are our protectors abroad, who strive to end foreign agression towards our great nation by any means necessary. But at home, the proud members of the our Barton Security Services Corps will diligently patrol our streets. These agents will work under condition of anonymity and will be hand-picked by our leaders and work for the Barton Office of Homeland Security, headed by myself.

The reason for anonymity is this: No land is ever safe from infiltration by those seeking to do us harm or by those who have grown up in this land who seek to betray the state. Thus, no Barton citizen can be assured of their right to happiness and liberty as long as these people exist. But the members of the SSC will always be here and will blend in with the rest of society, waiting until the moment emerges where those who intend to disrupt the peace of our nation show themselves. Justice will then be delivered, swiftly, harshly, yet fairly. But our agents of peace must not be revealed to the public lest their virtues be bribed or persuaded or their objectives undermined.

With the anonymity of our peace officers and the responsibility for the general welfare and common good in the trusted hands of the Barton military leadership, I can hereby faithfully assure the good people of Barton that we shall never fall.

Ahem! I suppose I should introduce myself, too?

Hello everyone! I'm Bartonian Spirit and I'm the mule and "Bank" of sorts for Barton Town. That means that I handle all matters of funding and distribution of Gold in the Town. Donations, trades, and other monetary significances are what I control, which means everything that involves Gold for events and projects. I expect little donation or wanting to donate from the citizens, but any donation is very much welcomed! Especially worthless items for the large "mall" in the Bazaar. Sometimes the money will be used to buy prizes for events and Town contests on Holidays, so it's also good to donate a bit for that reason.
So remember this especially: you can TRUST ME WITH THE DONATIONS. I'm handled by the top officials of the Guild, so it's all in good hands. So donate everyone!

Sorry if I seem a bit out of it, I got a mosquito bite on my elbow that itches like a son of a b***h and is swelling larger than the elbow it's on.

Ehhh...that sucks. gonk I HATE mosquitoes. stare My mother almost died from a disease she got from one of them....and pushing the pus out of a mosquito bite is groooosss. xp
