Marna Otala

Marna was abandoned as a baby as her parents couldnt afford to keep her and were also on the run from the law. If it was not for her arcanic powers, Death would have taken her to the other side, but as she had powers, Death saw a slave in the girl. Marna grew up under Death's teachings and learned some magic from the books Death had accumulated over the years.

As a child, Marna was lonely. No one wanted to play with her due to the rumors that surrounded her. It was said that if anyone so much as teased her, the person would disappear. Everyone just avoided Marna when possible and if they accidentally came face to face with her, they would make an excuse about having to do something and run off. Death told her that no one wanted to be her friend and she slowly grew to accept this although it hurt very badly.

There was one instance where she had made a friend. A little dog that she found and took care of for about a week before it went missing. It was two full weeks before Marna found the dog and she cried for days afterwards because it had died.

Today, Marna see's a little of the dog in Vin (the golden eyes) and she remembers that week and feels a little happy. The only thing in her way now was that Death wanted her to do away with this group of people she was now befriending. It hadnt been her original intention on becoming part of their group and possibly making friends, but that was what was happening. She was now torn between doing as Death had told her (since she owes her life to Death) or really befriending the group and taking the chance of dieing in a battle against Death herself........







OK. so a slight history of Marna. May write more of her history, may not. I may also write more about her present day feelings, but again, not sure yet. Depends on what I can come up with. Her basic characteristics is that she is shy, withdrawn, but a lot of fun when she is open to others and relaxed.

A hobby of Marna's is finding a spellbook and deciphering the text, or in other words, translating the text. It is one of the few things that she had and can escape into and get away from the world that she really knows nothing about.
