It was the first day of college, everything seemed so bright and new. The air smelled of opportunity and thankfully classes wouldn't start for another few days which gave the students plenty of time to unpack their belongings. Renee placed her suitcase on the ground, absorbing the scenery with her eyes. This was it...the start of many adventures and the start of her career as a star on the big stage.

After she was satisfied with her invented dramatic moment she walked to the dorms to her new room and new roommate.  

[Lady Cantarella]

The soft sound of suitcase wheels echoed down the dorm hallway as Ember glanced fleetingly at all the doors. "Where the hell is it?" she muttered to herself before stopping in front of a door with the number 47 engraved on it. 'Here we go.' she thought as she took out her key and opened the door.  

[Almere]

Being a Resident Advisor was serious business. Riley was well aware of the position's requirements and she felt she was ready to take the responsibility. She might have felt a bit queasy and couldn't stand still but that had to have been the clam chowder causing this uneasiness in her stomach. It had to be. The dining service was never trustworthy when it came to shell fish.

She arrived a couple days before her residents would be moving in. She heard the foot steps of her first resident. She perked up her head before debating if she should finish this level in Little Big Planet or put it aside for greeting the younger students.

No. She had a position to uphold. She jumped off her bed and tied up her combat boots. She put on a friendly smile before heading out into the hall.

"Hello there. I am your RA Riley and you would be?"  

[Lady Cantarella]

Ember was taken aback by the loud girl that just burst through the door. 'This is my roommate? Well, she certainly seems interesting. I think I'll go along with it... If only for a bit.' Ember began to clap. "Quite an enterence you made there" She said with a smile. I'm Ember, Ember Tempesta. It's nice to meet you, Renee."

((Why do I get the feeling that I just unleashed some mass force that cannot be controlled. Aaaaaanyway... I gotta go to bed. It's a school night TT__TT))

Renee made it to her floor and turned the corner just intime to see a rolling suitcase enter into the room she presumed was her's

"Oh marvelous! My roommate has arrived in a timely fashion" she looked down at the white gold wrist watch she had recieved for her birthday two years back. "Now I have ten minutes before I am officially fashionably late, that gives me plenty of time to plan a grand entrance that will dazzle all who behold me ~ohohoho"

With a swift and well planned flair she unlocked the door and burst into the room knocking over a chair as she did so. "Salutations roomie I am Ms. Renee Drame but you may call me Renee. Do care to remember it for I will be a star someday and all the world will forever be..."
She threw a hand up in the air posing in a dramatic way.
"...my stage...and scene.."

"Ah! you like? Thank you thank you!" She bowed with florish. She was shouting again like she knew she always did...and her body was practically shaking with joy. She just felt like singing to the world...but no she couldn't, she's an adult now...It's time to do adult things and not get so excited by every little casual compliment...and maybe to chill out for five goddamn minutes.

But suddenly and new person made herself known and Renee swiftly stepped aside to allow their RA to enter. Her excitement skyrocketing at the idea of a new audiance.

"Ah Good day Riley!" Renee smiled brightly before entusiastically shaking her hand.

"I am Renee, a name you should never forget as I will one day be a famous star on the broad-way!" She placed a hand on Riley's shoulder and used her free hand to motion the imaginary broadway lights that would one day be shining with her name, Renee Drame.

"Honestly Marc, what's the point of setting up your room when you're just going to fail out anyway?" His sister, Sandy, sighed helping him carry his bag up the steps.

"I'm not going to fail out sis...this time I'll really work at it" Marc groaned, he already heard this talk from mom and dad, he really didn't need it from his sister too.

"That's what you've been saying for the .past four years" She huffed pulling rolling backpack onto the last step

"And I graduated didn't I?"

"Barely..." She muttered

Marc let out a grumble before looking at the peice of paper in his hands and back at the door. "Here it is 403"

"Welp then...this is where we part then" She said handing him the backpack. "And please don't piss anyone off"

"Who? me? Neeever" Marc smirked holding up his hands and looking generally innocent.

"Right...ok." She sighed walking away and giving her older brother a slight wave.

Marc beamed and waved back before turning to the door, smoothing out his jacket and walking right on inside. His new life was about to begin...
