Aside from allowing Tifa to change his bandages, Cloud was pretty much unresponsive the whole previous day, but then that night he seemed to be sleeping more soundly and his fever had broken so by the following morning he was actually finally awake. He glanced down blearily at himself and the bloodied bandages on his person that were still in need of changing. He only vaguely recalled being made a human pincushion once again by Sephiroth before Shiro had intervened and he frowned intensely because of it, but he didn't look like he was going to become a flight risk, not at the moment at least.

"I think I can probably do it myself," Cloud's grumbling wasn't doing him any favors. He sound even more disgruntled than Leon right now.

Speaking of Leon, thanks to the still entirely unknown nature of Shinra and the total lack of support from an injured Cloud, Leon was having to perform double duty patrolling the town while Zidane and Yuffie alternated shifts to keep him company. No doubt, Kailah was probably going to be worried sick about him if this kept up for too much longer, but Leon seemed entirely indifferent to the extra patrols.

For the other residents of Radiant Garden it was business as usual. Sora and Kairi were supposed to begin a new daily training regimen with Merlin so at least these first couple of days Riku was making sure that they both got there on time, really it was just Sora who needed the extra push because Kairi was extremely motivated to continue with her training while Sora was still busy moping about his defeat at Olympus Coliseum.

In theory, Ventus should have been joining them because he needed to get back into shape as one of the Guardians of Light himself, but he and Aqua were still busy making sure Vanitas was becoming properly settled before all that. Vanitas seemed to be adjusting in his own way. He was still being rude and snarky with basically everyone, most especially Leon, but true to his word he hadn't caused any real trouble for the town. Aqua even had high hopes that he was going to manage to fit in just fine. On the other hand, Ventus was kind of wishing Vanitas wouldn't cling to him so much all the time.
