They do; they even include non canonical information and possible theories. The ones I use are Zelda Wiki and Zeldapedia.

I'm interested in making a costume for a con I'm going to, but I need advice, and thought it might be something fun to have here?
Go right ahead! Anything outside of the roleplaying forums are pretty relaxed so we won't bite if you choose to start a thread in the main section or in the cosplaying section.
As for not having the latest things, don't be concerned about it! If you played some of the games and enjoyed them, that should mean you're a fan. If that's not the way it works, then I would be rather concerned.

That's true. ZD isn't good for zelda theory studies. I tend to use youtube and google search to find information or random forums for zelda theories and myths. ZD has all of the information on the game play of every Zelda game that has come out so far, excluding glitch play heart so it's good for hard game facts. I guess it might be weird, but I read about and watch online videos of other players playing the games I can't afford to get. I love watching people play games. sweatdrop I just finished watching the guy who made the new world record for !00% Majora's Mask speed run. It's fun watching the tricks and glitches he used. 5.4 hours is a long video to watch though .-.

Eh, what else are you supposed to do at that point? I always think it's better to experience the game when you can but unless you have an retro game store nearby, a lot of classic games can be out of reach. Heck, even the new games are expensive.
Though I still find myself correcting people who think they know everything because they watched a playthrough and haven't done any sort of research beyond that.

Yeah, you definitely shouldn't think you know everything about a game just from watching a play through or two. If you watched multiple different people do different types of play throughs you might eventually get all the facts though. And ikr? Dx New games cost almost just as much as some of the old rare games now. Hyrule Dynasty, ALBW, OoT 3D T-T though... the real reason I don't have any of the newer games is because I can't afford to buy both of the handhelds and games xD This whole WiiU/3DS war is killing me. You can't split in two directions and make zelda games for both directions! I can't afford it D: Sorry for the rant. sweatdrop Lol
