Chapter 0: Bonds of the Broken

"...."

Haruka brought him to her building where she lived, she stayed in the hallway not inside her actual apartment. She told him everything Everything that the young man had said, and even how he was an uchiha. "Who knew exactly who I was and who you were. He's been watching us." She said bothered by this. She didn't understand why anyone would be watching her. She was just a chunin. No one significant.

Arashi was startled by all the information.the fact there was another uchiha.there wasnt another one here,there wasnt another one even in the leaf.there couldnt be he would know.Arashi tried to calm her down."Haruka..i believe you but there shouldnt be another uchiha here..but if it is the case and there watching you and me i think for tomorrow just stay home...we were given a mission by the hokage but i think we will have to pass it on to another team while this is being handled.."
Arashi said now trying to protect her."i can get you some anbu protection while we figure out whats going on..okay Haruka?" Arashi said looking at her still terribly worried.

"I don't need protection Arashi-sensei." What the young man said came to mind. "The boy seemed to think you're more than just my sensei." She said thinking a bit tilting her head looking at him. Arashi had known her mother, and had acted funny when asking her about her father. "Arashi-sensei.... Are you my dad? Either way if we have a mission I want to do it. I don't want to hand it off to another team. Besides if he wanted to kill me he very well could have in Ichiraku. He compelled everyone but ME to leave and I didn't notice it until he was sitting beside me."

"N-NO!! THERES NO WAY I COULD BE YOUR D-DAD" Arashi's heart was about to explode."maybe that boys got me confused with another Arashi...yeah thats it!" Arashi doing his best to try and move the conversation along."if your sure about it we can go on the mission.your right if he did want to kill you, he probably would've done it somewhere less conspicuous. ya know!" Arashi ruffled her hair."it'll be alright" he said with a re assuring smile. "it'll be alright Haruka trust me!" he said with a grin.the grin was hiding the fact Arashi was considering someone maybe cloned him but there was one far off reason but he wouldn't let him mind go there it involved zombies.

Haruka had her suspicions but she wouldn't voice them further. If Arashi wasn't ready to tell her she wouldn't force him to. "I do trust you." She said resolute frowning as he messed up her hair though. "Besides if I passed up a mission given to us by the hokage it wouldn't do my reputation as a shinobi any good." As his student and partner she would have his back even if he didn't have hers.

Arashi knew she could probably tell that he was probably her father but Arashi wasnt even ready to admit that to himself.the guilt was already starting to weigh on his heart.Arashi just smiled."well i'll get a few of my old friends to guard the perimeter until tomorrow i'll come get you around 730 am.be ready.we're heading to the mist."Arashi said walking away and back to his home.

On the way home Arashi couldnt help but think about the boy Haruka had told him about.he knew he who he was.he knew in his heart.his son he thought he lost but he was back some how but for now he had to focus on trying to protect her from him.Arashi made it home and had a dream that night about the boy it was more of memory.he woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.it took him a bit but eventually he went back to sleep the dreams about a son he couldnt protect haunted him.

the next day Arashi arrived at outside her apartment the anbu he contacted told him there was movement around her house around midnight last night.
this worried Arashi.

Haruka nodded softly letting him call his Anbu friends. She slept through the night but woke up around midnight and looked out her window. She could feel the disturbance almost. She had keen senses and always had. Surprising for a chunin. She ended up going back to sleep knowing the Anbu were there.

The next morning she got dressed and cleaned up. She went to her dresser brushing her hair before looking down at her at it, her blood running cold. She saw laying there a red ribbon. It wasn't hers. She hadn't gotten a red ribbon. The one she bought was black. She knew that Arashi wasn't the one who got it for her. Did the boy get into her room somehow and leave it there for her? And if so, why? Why would he give her anything. She grabbed the ribbon and shoved it into her pouch that rested on her hip. She grabbed her naginata katana and other gear.

She ran outside and to Arashi. "He was in my room last night." She said a serious concerned look on her face.

Arashi was shocked "we'll have to move you somewhere else after this mission."Arashi looked away.his fist tightening."i have a feeling who ever is targeting us will find us when we least expect it and then we can confront them..but until then we just have to focus on the mission at hand." Arashi said.as this progressed he began to realize she may need to learn the truth.

Haruka looked at him and nodded still a bit concerned. "He left something in my room." She pulled the ribbon out of her pouch showing it to him as they started to head to the village entrance. She wanted to know why it was left in her room. He knew she needed a new ribbon or how her ribbons normally ended up torn.

Arashi began to think"I think he's been following us for a good bit...he's probably been spying us on since we've been training.."Arashi said" he's probably going to engage us soon.but for now we will attempt to lure him out..but lets get out opf the village and then we can see what he's after..if he shows up."Arashi took note of the ribbon.it was red it was similar to one that he gave to a woman long ago.

Haruka nodded softly putting the ribbon back into her pack looking at the path in front of them. "I kind of figured. Something was going on outside the apartments last night." She closed her eyes breathing calming herself. When she opened her eyes again she was calm and collected.

Arashi began walking towards the village exit.he in deep thought he was getting feeling the the boy was more so after Haruka rather than Arashi.but it's possible if he is who he thinks he is then Arashi will have a real fight on his hands if he attacks.but the real questions is why is he targeting haruka.
