Welcome to Echo Town, an old city built in between the natural walls of an enormous mountain range and a darkened forest with only one road out. It is an isolated city, fenced off from the rest of the world outside. Echo Town is a place that jails in all of the most dangerous entities of the world. It holds in sick and crazed criminals, nut jobs, and abnormalities. This place keeps in the most horrific beasts ever spawned from the planet's existence.

Once a tourist attraction for all to visit, Echo Town was once a happy place, filled with wondrous attractions, beauty, and friendly inhabitants. But a dark veil has now clouded over the once good city. The gates have closed forever. Some people still go to the city out of sheer curiosity, but rarely make it out alive or sane. Beyond the city is nothing more but a sandy shore connecting to endless ocean blue; the bridge leaving it, torn down by the frightened outsiders to make sure nothing ever reaches the rest of the world. The ocean water around the island city is now poisoned and black with deadly unknown creatures whose origins come from inside the city gates.

The worst place to be in this hellhole of a town is at the far back towards the mountain walls. Even the inhabitants of the city do not dare walk into this territory, making sure to forever block it off from the rest of the island. A large stone wall conceals everything, so high that the frightening image of the section of the city is removed from sight. Not even the light of the moon hit the city sector as much as the rest of Echo Town. The people of the city called this forbidden territory:

An old, dark looking man walks up to you as you reach the front shores of this dark place...

Old Man: "Welcome, This is "EchoMist Island", the floating land mass that Echo Town is set upon along with its dark forests and jagged mountains. Here is a map of the entire island. Use it wisely."

He chuckles and coughs slightly. Then he hands you a crumpled piece of paper, as you look down you see an amateur's attempt at a map. Not many places are marked on the map, but you can tell he's marked the places that count for the start of your visit. You can still hear him chuckling a bit, but his voice is beginning to fade. You lift your head up from the map to take a quick glimpse at him, but you quickly double-take at the notice that no one is no longer standing in front of you. It is now only you, a dark path ahead of you into the EchoMist Forest... And a crappy map... Yay...

Darkman

Clang Clang!

The large metal doors opened up as Darkman looked up with a grin on his face. Red, blue and yellow lights glared through the gate and spotlighted down upon him. A group of swat team policemen stood just inside of the gate as they glanced over at the lone man standing before their corrupted city. The leader of the group walked outside of the gate and over to him, standing just a few feet away. He looked right at Darkman and with a calm voice asked,

"Are you sure, you wish to enter this town... Sir?"

Darkman just stared at him for a moment. Then his arms swung upward and he shrugged with a playful chuckle. Then he proceeded to walk past the policeman, heading straight towards the gate. The policeman followed behind him as the gate began to close once again. "Pffft... I'm never sure about anything. I just do it," he said looking to his side at the policeman. The policeman nodded his head.

"Alright then," the policeman said to him.

The gates came to a slow close once again. Clang! Clang!

"Welcome to Echo Town. Enjoy your stay..."

Izanagi approached the doors and saw that another man went past the gates and into the city. He quickly made haste and ran over to the policeman. He stopped to catch his breath briefly and looked up at the man standing there.

"Ah, hello there, sir. I was wondering if you could let me in. It's urgent that you do. I'm searching for someone and I believe that they've entered this place.

"Well, that other guy went in. Are you sure you want to go in there? It's pretty dangerous.

Izanagi nodded at him and stood upright. The policeman nodded in response and opened the gates up, Izanagi walking past him with the gates shutting behind him. Screams and crying could be heard as he stopped to look around. This place was dark and sinister and Izanagi could feel all of the souls here.

Well, this is it. It's now or never. Just hold on, Izanami. I'm coming. I just hope you're here somewhere...

Darkman

A horrifying sight to any normal person was an exciting playground to Darkman. He giggled with delight as he walked through the streets, past battered and broken up buildings. Frightened residents ran past him, looting and running around in panic. It was just the beginning of this sick and twisted place. The near normal people lived as close to the city walls as possible, making sure to stay far away from the center of Echo Town. The deeper in, the more dangerous it was.

Where Darkman was now, no thugs lurked. From time to time they would appear, but because of the swat policeman that protected the borders of town to keep people inside and away from the rest of the world, there was very little crime near the gate. Deeper in however, the city was nothing but a wasting hellhole, never protected by the police, because it was just too dangerous for any law enforcement to be stupid enough to walk into the center of the city and away from the rest of the group.

Darkman loved the sight before him. Something new to be a part of. He had plans to walk even deeper into the city and see what made it tick. He waltzed down the street and through the dark of an alleyway.

Nagi could hear people being tortured and whatnot. It was blood curdling, to say the least, but he kept his composure as he walked down the streets that were covered in blood, trash and debris. He sighed a bit, sensing that finding Nami would be a very arduous task, but he didn't let the discourage him from searching for her. She was his sister and the only person he had left. He didn't wanna be alone.

Lurking in the shadows was a large silhouette that was following Nagi through the alleyways, but made sure to stay quiet and observant. Nagi pressed on and kept walking the streets until he came upon a small shack that was pretty dilapidated and neglected. He stepped inside but the floor itself was really to fall apart, so he took his steps carefully. Nagi looked down at his feet and could see below the floor. It was dark and empty from what he could see when the floor suddenly gave way and he fell down into the darkness that was below

He fell until he let loose a gust of air that cushioned his impact upon landing at the bottom, which was cold and lifeless. There was water everywhere as he stood up and looked around carefully.

"I can't let my guard down in a place like this. There could be anything waiting for me in a place like this. This place could prove to be useful, actually. So much animosity and rage, all pent up and waiting to be released. This may not be such a bad idea after all. I just hope Nami is alright.. I can't lose her..

After he finished talking, something behind him moved, thrashing slightly in the water and then, there was nothing. Nagi was careful about moving and stayed still. He was ready..

Darkman

He had walked through the alleyway, across the street to the only intact gas station in the area. Darkman was now standing at the counter in the gas station with a bag of bbq potatoes chips in hand as he munched away happily. "MMM! I haven't eaten since that damn balloon ride to this place. Nothing better than a bunch of greasy chips, with bbq flavor," he proclaimed as he continued to munch his chips. "Hey how much to I owe for the chips," he asked across the counter. A moment of silence went by. Darkman looked across the counter, still munching on his chips. "...Oh... I see you're dead... And stapled to the wall... Hmm..." He continued to stare for a few more moments. "Here's a dollar!" He said with a smile as he trotted out of the store with his half eaten bag of chips.

Nightmare sat perched on the ledge of a tall building. She enjoyed looking down at everything that went on in Echo town. The crimes, the murders... oooh especially the murders. She really loves to be entertained. She giggled in amusement as she watched a man get mugged and stabbed to death below her, she eyed them carefully as she waited for the man to leave so she could have her fill. Once the man left she swooped down to the man who was near death in seconds.
"Mhmm, you will make a fine meal." She held his chin up, squeezing his face aggressively, not caring.
"ple-please!! Don't hurt me!!" The man cried. She laughed followed by licking her black lips, revealing her sharp fangs.
"Ohhh, you don't know me very well. Hehehe." She said with a sickening girly laugh at the end. The man's eyes grew wide and before he could even let out a scream, she twisted his neck. Killing him instantly.
"Mhmm.. thank you very much." She dug into his flesh, ripping his skin and pulling out his organs, drinking every ounce of his blood till he was dry to the bone.

Darkman

Darkman strolled down the street as he tossed an empty bag chip bag over his shoulder. Deeper and deeper in the city, it showed to be much more dangerous the further in he walked toward the center of Echo Town. And from the looks of things, it would only be thugs he had to deal with. Shadows were now peering at him through the darkness of the eerie alleyways of the city streets. More of the stores were abandoned, buildings completely torn apart. From time to time, the sounds of people screaming in pain, for help, or just out of sheer fright were heard in the distance.

But Darkman paid it no mind. He walked forward, further and further in. A smile was still branded on his face as clear as day. Even though it didn't seem like it, he had his own plans for this random trip to the town. There was someone he was looking for. Someone he wanted to ask a couple of questions to. Then he heard talking in one dark alleyway. A thug ran out into the streets and down toward the opposite direction from him. His attention was directed back toward the alley as he listened closely.

............ SNAP!

Darkman tilted his head for a second. Then after a while he shrugged and began to walk away. "The stuff you hear these days..."
