cry That day was a dump day. This crackhead lady abandoned a russian tortoise in a shoe box with a little piece of paper for care instructions. Lets just say all the tortoise looks like crap and she has been giving him the wrong care for 10 yrs. Thats how old she told my boss she had him. I didnt take him home because he needs a 4 ft by 4 ft cage wich i have no room for right now. My boss is going to get him treated and he will become like a mascot for the store and will be taken to shows that we put on for the local schools to teach about responsibility and COMMITMENT and compassion.
These other people abandoned mice in three 10 gallon tanks. In 2 of the tanks, there is a single male mouse, in the other one there is 3 females and 3 dead baby mice that have been in there along time. The tanks were disgusting, caked layers of mouse pee on the glass and water bottle holders and the bedding was just so nasty.
These other people asked if my boss wanted to buy their ferret. He turned them down because he already has 16 ferrets that he rescued.
Then this lady wanted my boss to buy back 2 hamsters that her kids bought a couple weeks ago for 50 bucks. He ofcourse told her no.
Last but not least, these people dumped off a 20 gallon tank that house 2 ginormous rats. One became snake food, the other a black male is also destined to become snake food.
