Well, quite a bit happened this week in the world of SGA. We met family, former family, surrogate family...and more "F.R.An.s" than we thought (I figured I could apply the term to all of them). We also saw some familiar faces. I never thought I'd be that happy to see Bates again. He certainly grew up...

So, what did you think?

first of all i liked the whole plot twistingness of it all but they need to get all of atlantis crew on atlantis again. i'm never happy to see Bates, in season 1 everything that went wrong i blamed on him

and that term is completely justifiable for season 1. i never expected to see him again. i didn't even know his injuries were that big.

when i saw her from the beginning i knew that she was a replicator i could tell.
at least we know that replicating isn't one of its primary objectives. that would just really suck. i loved how his ex was talking about him she asked about him and alot of walls were in her way. i loved how ronan was on earth. completely safe from wraith.

The actress playing Sheppard's ex-wife was Maggie on Sliders. That was kinda weird.

yeah i noticed. that is one of the shows i remember the most watching when i was a kid. sliders, pretender, some show where theres this guy who travels through time and accomplishes things and moves on to another time till he gets home.

Yes he was.

I think Bates made a huge character turnaround. In season 1 he struck me as this annoying snot-nosed kid of a soldier, but he gained mass amounts of maturity, it seems.

Naw. Meybourne had a definite secondary agenda. Bates just had a job to do.

ok heres a question that has nothing to do with this topic

season 5 through 8 anubis and his followers try to take out whoever they can. they try the tauri many times. they damn near did it to the tok'ra they destroyed the tollans and they outsmarted the asgarded. but what about the nox. what the hell happened to them. the last time i remember them mentioning the tonks was in like season 3 or something. where did they go.
i know they disappeared but did Anubis just believe that they were peaceful and would not choose a side.
