So this isn't a very significant question, but it's been bugging me.
Is is Rose of May or Loss of Me? Both make perfect sense, even in context, and I've seen it both ways in multiple places. Heeeeeelp!

Can you link me to the song? I'm not sure just by seeing the two names you put which song you're talking about sad

According to Blue Laguna, it's 'Loss of Me'. I'm willing to bet they're accurate, because I think it's directly from the soundtrack.

I've seen a lot of mistakes in their song names, actually. I think it's because they translate it themselves from the Japanese rather than going with the official translations (but that's conjecture).
I saw somewhere that the Japanese (presumably transliterated from katakana) is "ROOZU OBU MEI," so I'm now leaning toward Rose of May.
Wow, my initial post wasn't very helpful, was it?

xD nope.
Have you tried looking at Amazon? I know they sometimes list the tracks on albums, maybe they'd have the title there?

Yup, tried it. They have about six tracks listed for IX's OST, and they're not even real songs.

for translations it depends on if they thought of it in english or not. that really changes how its translated.

Everywhere I've seen with the OST for download or for sale has it listed as "Loss of Me". I don't have the OST for IX, though, I need to get it. (runs off to do so)

Maybe it's both Loss of Me and Rose of May? Like, the japanese version is one thing, and the official translation is the other else?

Maybe. It would really help if someone did actually own the thing. v_v

It is both, I own the OST. You know, like how some songs have two titles. ex: Metallica's "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)"
