Catacomb Chamber

[Strideo]

This vaulted chamber is lettered with the bones of the deceased. Recesses in the walls hold the final resting places of many. Candles light the chamber and give evidence that someone has been here very recently. There is another chamber to the south and a passageway that leads to the north.



Follow the passageway North
Go into the chamber to the South

No no no no no! ZOMBIES!

Why does it always have to be zombies? Anyways they're heeeeeere!

Jad swore, More of the darn things! He fired his bazooka again, hoping he'd kill more of the undead monsters. He dashed once more through the smoke. he wasn't going to get caught if he could help it!

more zombies huh. i mused the idea of using all my phoenix downs on them but i needed to conserve supplies.  

[iMonochromatic]

I entered the vaulted chamber - resting place for the dead.

"More like the living dead," I exclaimed, spotting another zombie. This time, a spoken incantation finished off the zombie. Magic was something I used on occasion, but I figured it would be boring watching zombies die from heart attacks.

"Hmm, I've been here before. Looks like I may be finding my way out."

I entered the chamber, noting the zombies again. I slipped along the side, taking aim.

I start to shoot, picking them off one by one. 8 fall to my bullets, when i hear one come up behind me. I spin and kick, skewering it's brain through it's eye with my heel, and I jerk my heel out, seeing the eyeball is stuck to the blade. I flee north.

I teleport in and hurry to the south before any of the remaining zombies catch up to me.  

[Mr. If]

"Aw, so soon?" Mr. If didn't feel so good about this run in. This place was dark and oppressive and he was already tiring of it but never the less he had to press on. Most of these zombies were just wandering around but oddly enough there was one that seemed to be pretending to brush it's rotting teeth with a little bone. Some sort of green goo was spilling down it's chin, perhaps serving as toothpaste?

Not sure he really wanted to know the details Mr. If readied his wand and cast a flamethrower spell. Bright flames leapt forth and he could feel the intense heat generated by the fire as it turned most of the zombies into crispy corpses.

A few other zombies let out desperate moans as they fled the room while still in flames scattering in different directions much faster than one might expect. It was almost funny.

Mr. If moved on to the south.
 

[Zphal]

At the sight of more zombies, Zphal let out a derisive, maniacal laugh.

...

Maybe she was going a little bit crazy down here in the depths.

Irregardless, she loosed her weapon upon the mass. Soon enough all that was left were headless corpses. Zphal kicked one of the heads, dribbling it between her feet like a soccer ball as she continued north.
