okay, i seriously need some advice here people. and not joking advice, i seriously am at a loss for this one.
So, my friend has lice. and my other friend and i have both noticed, and dont know what to tell her.
we dont want to be all rude like "hey, you have lice" or something, but we dont want it to stay for a long time, and risk ourselves catching it.
neither of us know what to do...so anyone have any suggestions?

Aw gee, I dunno. Politely say one day that there is something moving in her hair? But act like you think it's a bug that decided to just land there, not that it's been in there for a while...
Like a beetle or something.
A really, really teeny beetle.

like, a few days ago i told her i wanted to get my own gym locker because "i planned to bring more cloths in" (which is partially true) and she was just like "it's fine, i dont care if your stuff comes over onto mine"
and i tried saying that "it's a lot of cloths" and she said "i dont care, we're sharing, remember?" i'm getting my own locker still, but ugh. idk she doesnt take hints to well sweatdrop

Oh man. Well, it's not the nicest way of going about things, but...
You can anonymously tip off the school office that you suspect someone of lice. I don't know if you school does it, but they might do a schoolwide inspectiong of everyone. Then, when they found your friend, they could let her know. But, she might get embarassed if she gets called out of class when everyone KNOWS the inspection is going on.
It's only a suggestion, and more of a 'last resort' type of thing. But that's the only other thing I can think off...

you know, that might actually work. like, maybe if my friend and i go to the office and tell them that we know of someone who has lice and dont know how to tell them, they might pass on the "anonomous" tip to her, and get it taken care of. It feels kind of mean, but so does everything else sad i'll try to think of something else first (or if anyone else has another suggestion) but if nothing by tuesday morning then i'm going with your plan

sry to say spot but i think telling the office is the best thing, i work at a school and it would be easiest for them to be told now then when it goes through the hole school and everybody inclueding you get it. i have had lice it sucks. (that was like 10yrs ago.)

when i got it about 10yrs ago i couldnt get rid of it cause i couldnt tell my parents or my step dad was going to shave my head but i kept getting it cause my step sis had it. but that anoher story. but ya she may and may not know she has them but inorder for your friend to be less likely of being mad at you just tell the ppl in the office that you dant want your friend to know you told they wont tell her you told and if they do then your school just sucks.

Spot 14 yeah, i dont want to make her mad or anything. and my school sucks in every other department (i mean we cant wear zip-up hoodies anymore stare ) but they wouldnt tell that it was us who told them OMG do you go to JICHS? They just stopped letting people wear zip-hoodies this year too....0_o I know it seems mean, but really, it's a little better than just going up to her and saying, 'You have lice.' It's never a fun thing having to point out someone's faults, especially when it a fault that needs to be fixed or other people suffer. But in the long run, wouldn't it be nicer to get her some sort of help? She'll probably even be happier once she knows why her head itches so bad smile I once went to a home-run daycare when I was still living with my father. He'd drop me off three days a week when he went to work. But I don't think the woman who ran it liked me very much, because she isolated me from all the other kids, and when my father asked her about (because I randomly mentioned it in tat little kid way), she said it was because I had lice. He took me to be checked out and was told I didn't have lice. Then he asked me how long I'd been isolated because of the 'lice' and, I don't remember the exact time-period, but it was long-enough that she shold have told my father waa-aay befor ehe asked if I really had lice. So there's my lice story. whee

that lady definetly should have told your father about that. especially since she's caring for children. I mean, if i were babysitting and found that one kid had lice, i'd certainly tell their parents asap. that's not something you should keep to yourself when caring for children..or anycase i 'spose

Some schools have a super picky dress code, and SPot, JICHS was a high school was going to for a whlie. If you don't know, then nevermind...But your school is sounding a lot like JICHS. This year they made it so you can only wear hoodies they provide (which suck, and not because they're gaudy. Because they're thin and do nothing to keep you warm), and you have ot sign an honor code that states, "I swear I did not give or recieve unauthorized help upon this assignment," and you sing your name. They once did something like that int he middle school. I'm so glad I go to a different school now.
