FAQ
What is a herd?
-It's a group of horses that roam together. The herd is usually dominated by a mare (Alpha Horse) but males can lead as well. A herd also needs an aggressive stallion/mare to keep everyone from falling behind (Protector Horse).
How do I get one?
- Have an idea for a herd, then you've come to the right place! Simply set up a herd thread and make sure to fill out the form below. This way everyone knows what sort of herd is being created, who owns and leads it (OOCly and ICly) and what members have joined! We encourage mules to be made, as it allows all founding members to help keep up the herd thread, not strictly the owner of the Alpha.

What is a totem pole??
-A totem pole helps protect the herd from evil spirits. Gods are carved in a log in the forms of animals and dyed various colors. Many herds have their own totem pole that is displayed on their lands or in the Kawani village, but it is not necessarily to have to create a herd.

What do you mean by Private or Public?
-A private herd is the owners of the Alpha and Protector invite others to join the herd..no one may ask to join. A public is everyone can ask the Alpha and Protector to join without being asked first.
How do I add members?
-To add members, tell the herd owner(s) [usually the Alpha and Protector] to add more people or a mule can be made for the herd for others to edit the posts.
What are the benefits of herds?
-Your soquili can have their own families in the herd and it makes a more enriching RP experience. A soquili might feel much safer in a group environment.
Can my soquili still maintain their teepee if they join a herd?
-Yes. A teepee is more of a place for villagers to congregate with your soquili. Your horse can visit you in your teepee anytime you wish when they aren't traveling with their herd.
