There are already too many freaking Ouran threads in the A/M/C. And I see too many people bashing it. I'm tired of it being popular. I want no one to know about it. D:<

Kibby47 There are already too many freaking Ouran threads in the A/M/C. And I see too many people bashing it. I'm tired of it being popular. I want no one to know about it. D:< WHAT? Well I want it to be more popular for another reason. . .I want people to recognize me and my bunny when I go trick or treating next year and people go "HEY LOOK ITS HUNNY". (unfortunately no one in my neighborhood except me knows about this anime/manga, sad really. No one really thinks its a costume =/) I wouldn't mind seeing people turn Ouran into an obsession, like people did with Naruto haha. I love Naruto to pieces but I would love to see Halloween with people dressed up as hosts. . .I need a group dammit. And I can't afford to go to every single anime convention just to get my cosplay noticed D;.

It worries me... just do to the fact that I still don't know how it sounds in English.... and I know how people in my town get about anime. Some are good about their admiration, like me. Some hate it with a passion, but tolerate it... then there is the group that over do everything, or not even like it, just act like they do to get someone to like them

OH GOSH!
I they put Ouran up here on gaia..would it be in english..or in japanese?
Becuase- holey crap- the english version SUCKS! It made me cry when I heard their voices.
I mean really. They all sound a**l or something.

...Oh dear. I forgot about the English dub.
I do think it is very difficult for English-speaking actors to dub over Japanese characters because there are just too many differences in subtle cultural nuances in the words and the ways to say them, and a lot of people might not really consider that when they're just trying to match mouths.

Well, I actually really like the English dub.. I know that a bunch of you don't. But chances are, they are going to put in the English dub if they put it up at all.
Kibby47: Okay, I understand that reason too. I don't want it to get so popular that I have to see all the bashing people would do with it. Kind of like how Naruto is now; yea, it's really popular and I really like it, but I hate reading all the bashers on it. So, I completely see your reason. That being said, I would still like to see it on Gaia anyway. I'm wierd, I know. Perhaps its just me not thinking of the long term effects. More exposure of the show is good and bad.

Exposure can be both good and bad, but I think its doing more good since it'll encourage the people to actually support the anime if they like it. . .I'm broke right now but as soon as I get funds to buy stuff I definately will get the boxset. There is no anime or anything really that goes without criticism. If there's a lot of criticism/bashing on an anime, then that means people care enough to hate it and it also means there are people who like/love it as much as those people hate it. . .I'm not encouraging people to bash it but. . .come on. I think plain indifference is worse lmao. At least when (most) people dislike it, they still recognize it.

I went with all of the above on that list,mostly because I have favorites and want to sees on all the lists ~.~
and maybe Ouran will appear on gaia.
