"NEW YORK (CNN) -- Two young girls, best friends, were found shot to death five months ago on the side of a dirt road not far from their homes in the small rural town of Weleetka, Oklahoma.

Police in Weleetka say there hasn't been a murder in town in more than 20 years. A double homicide involving two children is beyond anything Weleetka's 1,084 residents have experienced.

Taylor Paschal-Placker, 13, and Skyla Jade Whittaker, 11, were nearly inseparable. They played together after school, riding their bikes and sleeping over at each others' houses. On June 8, 2008, the girls were at Taylor's house and left at 5 p.m. to go on a walk down the road." ...

I always get really upset when I read or hear about kids their age being killed... why would someone do that? Even if they had done something to you, they're just kids... *shudders* Sad thing is, knowing how things are in different areas of the united states, I would HOPE that it was done out of total insanity... but yeah... down south? A lot of stuff like this happens because people were "looking for fun."

Yeah right. Gunning down innocent kids is fun? Sick.

What's sad is I used to live there, thing is knew them or one of them I was in pre-k with Taylor we were best friends I still have our pre-k class picture I'm heartbroken.

Those girls aren't in that category.
This is why I hate people...I see people yelling at their kids and I get mad. But killing kids? It's ******** sick.

Im a pretty nice person and dont realy like harsh ponishments but whoever killed them needs to have a horible death.The "shot" would be to good for them and frying them may be to good for him.
