Mila Farell's original characters.

I'm in the middle if touching up the wolf and more of the background. So It still looks really bland to me. :*(

But! I'm really digging his fur so far. ^^ I've done fur texture before but never on the computer so it's new to me.

I'm also trying to new painting technique. I'm literally painting on TOP of the lineart so there's ultimately no lineart in the end. X3 It's fun so far.

Sotalean if I could draw and colour like that I would never say it's bland.

If you want some extra interest maybe add somefootprints in the snow to break up the ice?

can I just say WOW to the glaciers in the foreground! they look amazing! This new style is definitely working for you. as far as adding more interest, I like the idea of adding some little detail to make it interesting, like adding footprints (both the girl's and the wolf). Another thing you could do is be a little more dramatic with the lighting, play around the the background perspective. Depends on your focus I guess, are the girl and wolf the main focus or the atmosphere and background?

I gots no time to talk, but I have one simple suggestion to offer: Light-color-y-ness. Like the girl said two posts above, you can play with light. Like, how 'bout you do sparkles (not like glittery sparkles of anything, more like the glistening light reflected off the surface) on the water and you can add some sheen/shine to the wolf's fur (looks great so far, by the way). And you could definitely add some brightness to the snow/ice 'cause that's one of the things you really gots to worry about with snow/ice--the glare. If there's even some form of sun or light source there, there should be some more indication of it (like the suggestions above). Whelp, I have to go. Absolutely lovely by the way. mrgreen Keep it wonderful! Oh! And Happy Winter. rofl
